It probably conflicts with something but I don't know what with... I am quite good in modding Skyrim. I am modding Skyrim for 2-3 years so there must be some problem with this mod (or it's conflict). In first post I read troubleshooting. Any advice? Where / when does it crash? Are you using any of the addon files? Edit: make sure you are using the Expansion file from Integration as well. There were some items added from it.

In first post I read troubleshooting. Any advice? Quite good at modding, but forgot to include all details. Do you get the CTD before Bethesda logo, after Bethesda logo or loading existing save? 1. Your game is bugged. There is an extra file or file is missing. Verify integrity of game cache trough Steam. 2. You are missing a parent file for this mod, or one of them is out of date. Make sure that everything is up to date. 3. Load order issue, old patch file (SkyProc, Wrye Bash or similar) or script heavy save. First can be dealt with Loot. Second requires manual work. Latter requires start from a original Save 1, or qasmoke room. --- 4. Special: conflict with one of supporting mods that only becomes in game with Captured Dreams. I give it 99% chance that your problem is included. Still, this game does manage to surprise me every now and again. Edit: Of course there might actually be a bug in the code.
Slorm Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I get CTD on loading existing save (which is a save game from beginning in basement of Live Another Life). I do not use any of addon files, I have Expansion on. I have load order created by Loot, so it should be correct. I don't have any issues while playing a game without this mod, none CTD nor bugs. In mod organizer I installed my mods to not conflict to each other in anyway. I have chosen wisely I think. This won't help much except for the process of elimination. I always use a start game as a loader in the same location as you (I use both LAL and LADL) and I've not had any CTD issues with Captured Dreams

Before entering the Captured Dreams Shop, when trying to remove a device, I get a dialogue box offering several options (force - undure - use key) After entering the shop and speaking with the master suddenly all the devices can't be removed. So here's the sequence after speaking with the master and doing the first quest offered by the master. 1. put on item, like the harness for example. You get the quest beginning dialogue "remove the device before I lose my mind" 2. try to remove harness 3. Harness comes right off with no dialogue box offering the various removal options. It just comes right off and you get the quest complete verbage. HOWEVER. 4. when I look at my PC she still has the harness on. 5. When I click on the harness to remove it you get an error message saying you can't equip two harnesses at the same time. 6. PC is stuck with the harness on 7. Tried to get the orc in the basement to remove the harness after getting the authorization paper and the harness is still on. The devices work fine until the master equips her own device on the PC upon starting the delivery quest. Here's my load list. DD items are made of two items- the one that appears in your inventory and an invisible one which makes the script stuff happen. For some reason when your inventory item was unequipped the script item stayed equipped. Now when you try to equip the inventory item it does nothing, because it sees the existing script item and thinks you already have one equipped. There's no good fix for this, but there is a bad one. Use the console command showinventory to see the IDs for everything you have equipped. Guess at which one is the script item for your broken equipment, and use player.removeitem XXXXXXXX 1 to delete it. Then equip your inventory item. It will generate a new script item and everything should be good.
ScarletGhost Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Another option i figured out works about 90% of the time (ive noticed all those glitches happen when your scripts are crazy bogged) is instead of removing it, EQUIP it via console. make sure you dont use the 1 after the code. so if its the harness itll be player.equipitem xx000000 random numbers. i cant rememebr what the ID numbers for the devices are, but that will allow you to RE initiate the removal scripts. preventative measure is when youre in your pack and you click on a device to remove and no dialogue comes up, wait a moment for it to catch up, dont clsoe your inventory. ps. - when i say the item's id, i dont mean the nameless ones, i mean the ACTUAL device thats locked on in your pack.
Min Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Has anyone else not been able to un-equip the devices? Before entering the Captured Dreams Shop, when trying to remove a device, I get a dialogue box offering several options (force - undure - use key) After entering the shop and speaking with the master suddenly all the devices can't be removed. So here's the sequence after speaking with the master and doing the first quest offered by the master. 1. put on item, like the harness for example. You get the quest beginning dialogue "remove the device before I lose my mind" 2. try to remove harness 3. Harness comes right off with no dialogue box offering the various removal options. It just comes right off and you get the quest complete verbage. HOWEVER. 4. when I look at my PC she still has the harness on. 5. When I click on the harness to remove it you get an error message saying you can't equip two harnesses at the same time. 6. PC is stuck with the harness on 7. Tried to get the orc in the basement to remove the harness after getting the authorization paper and the harness is still on. The devices work fine until the master equips her own device on the PC upon starting the delivery quest. Here's my load list. It will generate a new script item and everything should be good. The only time this has ever ocurred for me, is when I have multiple devices in my inventory. As per the FAQ / Known Issues section, having multiple instances of the device you're interacting with in your inventory is unsupported. It doesn't matter where they're from. If you have two identical harnesses (Or any device) in your inventory and try to interact with one, you're begging to eat a desync. This is the only known cause of that bug (Which is a bug with the Papyrus Scripting Language). Also, an easier fix for the desync, would be to find the ID of the inventory device, and just reequip it via the console. That said, I pushed a change to the beta just now that should make desyncs recoverable, without use of the console.

ScarletGhost Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 it happens more often to me when i have two copies, that much is certain, but ive successfully script equipped and script removed a device while the device was in a multiple stack before, as well as it failing to remove a device with only one copy. im usually running somewhat highly clogged saves when the latter happens, but it happens.

One is from Assets, one is from Integration, and the other is from another mod which includes custom chastity belts (a few of them do, I think). They aren't belts from older unsupported versions of Integration.

I had this problem and completely missed the hidden item that caused the problem, it was called (336) and appeared right at the top of showinventory results so I didn't notice it. It did appear on the Item section of Enchanting screen though, described as "internal item to stop event ugliness" or very similar. Removed it manually and it reappeared with same item number but called (335), then (334). I dropped all except quest items and then did player.removeallitems. Quest items remained and it vanished. Belt equipping has worked fine since then.

If you are going to add items using the console use the items from Integration, the items from Assets do not have any of the scripts. Everything that is added by Captured Dreams are all Integration items as well, the only things used from Assets are the ArmorAddon items. Depending on how the fight with the bandits turns out determines how the Armbinder is equipped. If none of them are killed it is equipped just as the normal one is and you can still wiggle out of it, if you kill one or two of them it is put on very tightly so that you can't remove it.

My target to release is Thursday evening sometime so long as nothing has been lurking around and suddenly appears. I have one thing I made adjustments to today that I have to check over then I just need to do a little cleanup on a few things.
ScarletGhost Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 well see now thats where i get confused. my nexus says id 14 is assets and integration is 18, but 95% of every single scripted device i get is definitely 14, according to help and player.inv. as well, all the stuff i buy from Master directly is 14 too. im clearly missing something about load order logic here, i have to be.

I did a bunch of side quests, did some lock picking, found some potions then bought keys and then screen freeze. This also happened the first time using this mod when buying devices. I couldn't save/use the game. Things were going very well until buying the keys in this current game. It's an interesting mod.

I think the issue with devices ending up broken is caused by one script trying to remove items and another trying to add items and something delaying the process and one gets ahead of the other. Keys should not cause any issues in removing items unless it is a custom device and it isn't set up correctly (I have double and triple checked all of mine). As for purchasing keys and other items in the shop the scripts for them are super simple. This is the script fragment to purchase keys: PlayerRef.RemoveItem(ItemGold, 2000)PlayerRef.AddItem(ChastityCDKey,1) Purchasing other items from vendors in the shop uses the standard vendor scripts and methods: akSpeaker.ShowBarterMenu() If these scripts cause issues for you then you have some real problems in your game.

Are you running the mod FusroDoh? Without it your game sometimes just skips custom dialogue.
