That's not normal, I guess... I had the same problems,.. i have fix it by i have at the last night ending the Player Controlls in the MCM Menu have give free and then locked... then free again.. sorry my english is not good.. ------- Ich habe das Problem insofern gelöst, dass ich am Ende der dritten Nacht die Spieler Kontrolle im MCM Menu frei gegeben habe, dann habe ich sie wieder übernehmen lassen und mein Spieler hörte auf ständig zu Elfise oder wie die heißt zu rennen. Anschließend natürlich wieder frei geben, damit man sich bewegen kann.

I've done a clean install of v4.02 and upgraded to v4.03 and when I try to do the first delivery quest, the objective is a delivery, the title is slave escort and the quest updates refer to Elisif. The second quest — a delivery retrieval — just said "LOOKUP FAILED" in the quest description. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know a fix?

All the names of your mod are changed (NPC, location.... the shop become embassy barrack, the master just hunter, the big orc with an axe is now called slavegirl), all the dialogues are screwed... I will try with a new game... Edit : I tried with the new game... now they are all "hunter", the dialogues means nothing, and the MCM is... you must see.

Mercius sagt mir das ich dir tägliche Quote erfüllen muss usw.. aber auch wenn ich gar nichts mache, sagt er zu mir, ich habe die Quote erfüllt, muss aber noch härter arbeiten..Das zweite Problem ist wie schon beschrieben, wenn ich draußen ausgestellt werden sollte, komme ich in diesen Käfig, wenn Herran kommt um mich zu holen, sagt er ich soll ihm folgen, ich verlasse zwar den Käfig, der Charakter bleibt aber dann beim Käfig stehen und macht nichts mehr.. auch warten bringt leider nichts. --------------------------- I have in the mine now a small problem.. When being given a job by Master, I receive an error saying "Lookup Failed" and then the quest doesn't display correctly in the quests screen, however they do play though correctly and the quest pointers do take you to the correct goals When you take the "Recover delivery" job the quest is stated as "Starting Sent To Cage".

Dann wurde ich von Fräulein Delius auf das Zimmer gebracht... Aber da war leider kein anderer NPC.. Tür verschlossen, ich allein im Zimmer... -------------------- I was now sent to a VIP, previously washed, etc. ( this scene I had never before ...)!Then I was brought by Ms Delius to the room...But as no other NPC was locked.. door, I alone in the room...

I uninstalled 4.03 and things were relatively normal again (at least with one single retrieval quest) I'm thinking this reply instead of an announcement to the forum might let me keep my head, but anyway this isn't a solution, only a workaround I've found.
Veladarius Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 After I did install the following uninstall 40 something-whatever install 402r ("don't overwrite") install MCM patch ("overwrite") Newgame Install 4.03 patch ("overwrite") The MCM menu for Captured Dreams is totally gone. The entry "captured dreams" is there but someone erased the blackboard. It shouldn't really matter I guess, but it's a symptom of something, just not sure what. The translated version may be causing an issue for you. You should be able to use the MCM menu script from 4.02 as there were no content changes. New issue for me since 4.03 update: Free Trial was active when I updated... now when I go to The Master and ask for Delivery Job she says no because the player is not wearing one of her belts, which she is (free trial belt). Resetting Free Trial does not remove free trial devices either so at present I cannot get them off. Is there anyway to remove them with Console? thanks Use the MCM menu option to remove CD devices on the Player page. CDS_V4-03_Localized.7Z Let me know if this fixes things. I don't run the localized version as it and the CK don't get along well and my version is basically the development version. The barrel at the bottom of the ramp in the mine is just called "Barrel", and doesn't recognize ore put into it. EDIT: Actually, the quest recognizes the ore, just not the ledger. It won't update until the end of day when the Overseer checks what you have put into it. That's not normal, I guess... It should only be 3 hours, she may not be getting into proper position or something has happened to kill the timer. Also, what does she say if you talk to her? She also should have been nude with a collar, arm and leg cuffs on.

If it is after a certain time of the day you would be locked in a cage by the shop and in the morning chained to the big wood pillory. It sounds like the next day is not triggering properly.

Meine Rede.. da gibt es nichts mehr,.. er lässt mich raus, meine Arm-Fessel wird entfernt und dann sagt er vorher schon "folgt mir" ,... aber mein Char steht still und da ist leider Ende. Edit: PS: Ich habe seit 4.3 leider kein MCM Menu mehr, wenn ich das MCM Update installiere (überschreibe) dann habe ich es wieder auf Englisch.. wenn ich dann die Spieler Kontrollen frei gebe und Herran an dieser Stelle nach dem Käfig wo ich still stehe folge, dann geht er ins Herrenhaus und setzt sich dort wo hin... das war es dann.

Loaded earlier save instead. Some more 'major' issues: • Updating to 4.03 makes the MCM menu options all disappear as confirmed by others a page or 2 back. - If you start a new game, options appear but don't have their correct names etc, they all begin with '$'. • Delivery quests cause a "Lookup Failed" error then is stated as a different quest in the quest menu although the pointers do point to the correct locations for the delivery, also confirmed by someone else a page or 2 back. • Recover delivery quest is now stated as "Sent to cage" when quest starts and in the quest menu, pointer does point to correct location though

Herran lässt mich aus dem Käfig, entfernt meinen Armbinder, sagt ich solle ihm folgen, was mein Charakter aber nicht macht.. Vielleicht sollte ich wieder ein neues Spiel beginnen, ich weiß es nicht... *seuftz*... Die PunishmentRunning kann ich dir leider nicht schreiben, wenn ich sqv cdxPunishmentSet01 in die Konsole eingebe, erhalte ich alles Mögliche, aber das steht leider nirgends.. Tut mir leid, ich kenne mich damit leider wohl zu wenig aus! Trotzdem vielen lieben Dank für Deine Mühen und nochmals, auch wenn ich mich wiederholen sollte...... vielen Dank für den Super Mod und die Updates!!!

Veladarius Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 I am trying to find out from CGi what the issue is with the update, I may have either missed a file or put the wrong one in somewhere. I THINK the MCM menu from the previous versions should work as the menu itself has not changed at all since v4's release. In case people missed it, CD will work with v3.1 of DDi. I am using a workaround in a few scenes with npc's until they figure out a long term solution.

I tested the 4.03 (not the version you just put some post ago)... the names of NPCs and location are ok, the dialogues lines too, but the quests are totally screwed up.. For example, I get a "go in the cage" for the recovery, and when I get the package, I got a "unbound Elisif".... the funniest is it's change at every quest !

Veladarius Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 That is the issue with using a localized version of a mod, everything is pulled out and put into the strings file and if one of the ID's are wrong you either get nothing or something else.

I don't like to leave things broken so I do what I can to fix it. With it being localized and in multiple languages I need help in getting it set up properly, I tried doing it once and it did not turn out well.

Or run a save game cleaner and remove CDXMCM from the save game.Look-Up errors:Those errors show up if Strings\Captured Dreams_{GAMELANGUAGE}.*STRINGS are missing or come from a different version of the ESP. Edit: Solution in the first post on the very next page.
