badbat111 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 A minor request: Place one of those dwemer milking machines (from mod milk economy) somewhere on site - maybe in the dungeon or kitchen of the vip or manor house. An idea (sorry if it's already been suggested): Have your (female) follower restrained and confined at the Captured Dreams shop as a ransom while the pc does errand quests. Maybe the option of selling your follower into permanent servitude to alleviate some of your debt. the milking machine in embasy quest ? good idea it could be a new punishment for the slaves or player to be stuck in it for a few hours ingame hours not real life

A: contributing to the success of the shop by the milk being sold, and B: Not so board watching the sun and the moons cross the sky.
gooberboy9999 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 So Veladarius, I know you said there were going to be two endings (or did you say three?) for the master/slave bit such as property slave/relationship slave/bad end. But I seem to remember you saying something about an island. Aside from the aforementioned slave stuff at the Shop/Manor area involving the Master, can we expecting any other interesting bits in the next update?

But I seem to remember you saying something about an island. Aside from the aforementioned slave stuff at the Shop/Manor area involving the Master, can we expecting any other interesting bits in the next update? There are three ending technically, 1 Bad End (that I hope to connect to other slavery mods) and 2 Good Ends (release or Relationship Slave). I have not decided some things on the Relationship side as of yet. The new world spaces won't be in this release, they take a lot of time to set up. The main focus of this will be: Player Slavery, New tasks (dom and sub) and expanding the dialogue. The primary goals of this release is: 1) Player Slavery 2) New tasks (both dom and sub) 3) Expanded dialogue Much of this will serve as a framework for controlling content as this will make up the primary hubs other parts will connect to. A good part of the current content will be either reworked to fit within this or be expanded upon to add additional options. One of the ways I look to accomplish this is the construction of some controlling frameworks. 1) Task framework - This will have several sub sections, each controlling different types of tasks. a ) Punishments - this will figure out what level of punishment is appropriate and pick one from those at random. b ) "Outside" jobs - these are things like the delivery based quests as well as other quests that will happen outside the CD environment c ) "Inside" jobs - these will be various tasks within the CD environment and will be used by the Player Slavery system as well as being offered to the player to do for pay. 2) Player Slavery framework - a ) Property Slave - this is more of a closed environment for the player, their tasks are determined for them with little say from the player b ) Relationship Slave - this is a more of a change in environment than anything else. The player is no longer treated as a hireling and has a much closer relationship with the Master and others and can go in a number of directions. There is a third framework that I am looking to build but will likely be pushed back to a later release: NPC Slavery. While there will be dom content available in this release the player won't be a true master without this. These frameworks will be modular so additional content can be added.
Disturbed5000 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Hello, I'm sorry to bother you, I'm usually more of a "Fix it yourself" type person, but I've been banging my head against this for two days now and I just can't figure it out. Here's what's happening: Whenever new devices are added in a scene, like say at the very beginning of being enslaved if you mouth off or if you complain about the belt, the game keeps running, but it can no longer save. If you try to save in any way, the game crashes. The error logs just aren't helping either. This is always the line that shows up at the bottom of the papyrus log: INFO (17:14:55.0603): Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "C:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe" (68701d). Last hooked call: void *__stdcall CreateFileW_rep(const unsigned short *,unsigned long, unsigned long, struct _SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES *,unsigned long, unsigned long, void *) And there's a lot of repeating: DEBUG (17:14:52.0489): createfile bsa not rerouted: C:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\DATA\aaf -> C:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\DATA\skyrim - sounds.bsa -> C:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\skyrim - sounds.bsa before that. Those are the only two errors that ever show up, everything else that's usually around the end like a random fnis animation or a texture loading I've eliminated by deactivating whatever is related to those lines and seeing if the crash happens again. It does. Here's the thing though. Another thing I tried is after I have a conversation that adds devices and I know the game is basically already corrupt and can't save, I tried doing a player.resetinventory then player.removeallitems. What this did is it completely eliminated the second error from the log (the skyrim - sounds.bsa one) and only left the first one. Unfortunately as far as I can tell that first error is a glorified "Skyrim crashed" message so I just can't figure out what's going wrong. Here's the load order I'm running: SexLab.esm SexLabAroused.esm ZaZAnimationPack.esm Devious Devices - Assets.esm Devious Devices Integration.esm daymoyl.esm Devious Devices Expansion esm and after that I tried captured Dreams both at the top and the bottom of the esps with no success. I have also tried a few other orders like Zaz at the top, integration at the top, all end up with the same error. I have a LOT of other mods admittedly, and I've been trying without much success to narrow down if something else is causing it, but with all the Sexlab and devious mods at the top it still crashes so I can't imagine how it could be something else. The useless log isn't helping either, with those two errors being the only ones that ever show up (And just the first one if the inventory is cleared). I know this is a long shot, but any ideas what I could be doing wrong? Thank you for your time.

The second error may be related to the equipping of devices as there is typically a sound associated with that (normal Skyrim equip sounds) either when the device equips or if it is an item that starts a quest like the belts. But if your game crashes when trying to save there is an issue with the game itself that needs fixed first as it may be causing a number of others. Does this happen with a new game? If not then the issue is with that save game and it may be a lost cause.
Disturbed5000 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 New game as well. But it's actually not captured dreams I'm pretty sure so I've wasted your time sorry . I've narrowed it down to plugs specifically. Every other device is just fine, but the moment I put on plugs manually or a mod does it and splat, crash on save. So I have to figure out why the plugs are being a bitch it seems...

Guest Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 So Veladarius, I know you said there were going to be two endings (or did you say three?) for the master/slave bit such as property slave/relationship slave/bad end. I love the relationship spoke of your hub. I hack the heck out of Master's relationship now and I'm constantly telling her she's a wonderful person, and all I get is a friendly "Hmm?" now and then. setrelationshiprank does not move her, nor does cdxrankmaster. Greir the front-lawn guard (That's her name, I could never remember before) is a great microcosm of the mod, nothing changes much, no matter how hard a person tries. Removing all her restraints and putting her in a pretty outfit only works for a few minutes, and then she changes back and stares at you like she doesn't know you at all. Scripts have scripted all joy out of the NPC's; they can't be hugged or talked to (much). as opposed to almost every other NPC in the game, to whom Player can toss an occasional "Hey, Sexy" to. So yeah, I look forward to being friendlier with the help, and Master. ************** I read an article about Aqqh. I missed them in this thread, and now I find that Steam is going to let modders charge for their mods. I hope you finish this mod here, you've got tons of hobo-type fans (well anyway at least one, me).
Veladarius Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 Those plugs would be the only ones that have a sound associated with them, specifically the vibration sounds. Did it work correctly at one point then stopped or has the problem been since it was installed / updated? If it is the latter it may be a MO / installation issue.

I hope you finish this mod here, you've got tons of hobo-type fans (well anyway at least one, me). There is not a lot of dialogue that varies at this point other than in a few spots. I wanted to add a lot more dialogue to v3 but other things needed finished / fixed first but v4 will focus more on the relationship with the player than others did. I have the npc's locked down pretty hard, there are a lot of mods that mess with npc's and I wanted to avoid that as much as possible, even the restraints they wear are all part of their outfits and will come back if removed. ------------------ As for the 'pay for mods' thing I see it as something that can strangle the modding community, if I had to pay for mods there are a lot of them I would not have tried, I doubt I Skyrim would have kept my interest long enough to start making mods myself. There are a lot of professional artists, modelers and programmers here (I am not a professional) who collaborate and bring us bigger and better things, that cooperation would likely not have happened in a pay environment. These people are the ones that inspire and drive people like me to try to learn and create. My mod was possible thanks to a lot of other people who have made the mods mine is based on, assisted me with problems, made things for me and answered my (sometimes stupid) questions.
TechBaNe Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I've got the add-on items all merged into a single esp using the TES5Edit merge plugin script to reduce plugin load. Will that cause problems for the Captured Dreams add-on patches? Do I still need them to include the add-on items?

If you have merged the mods that the add on files refer to you can merge the addons into that as well with no issues.

McRutt Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Hi there, I have a bug with the Thalmor Embassy quest. I have at least searched this topic for a solution but so far have got nowhere. The assistant continuously loops the "giving stuff" animation before I can get on the rack. I tried disabling her, but it turns out I can't get on the rack at all, even with player control on. What made the whole thing more confusing was this whole scene starts out with the "e to activate" message usually found on the chair in the dungeon.

The animation running over and over means the script to add the items is running very slowly, it won't end until the items are equipped. What item is giving you the option to activate?
Wandering_Mania Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 ***snip*** ***snip*** ***snip***I read an article about Aqqh. My mod was possible thanks to a lot of other people who have made the mods mine is based on, assisted me with problems, made things for me and answered my (sometimes stupid) questions. 2 things, I am also one of those "hobo-type" modders but I don't think Steam allows any type of "adult" mods to be uploaded so I think we are safe on that facit. Second I think the "pay for" mods just pit mod makers vs. mod users. Or in short players vs players. That simply because I looked at one of the more well known mods (trying not to single any one out here) that is now on the workshop with a $4.99 charge placed on it. But it seems that the mod maker has locked up every ariea where a comment could be make to them with out first "buying" the mod. My point being in that, any mod creator that charges on the workshop seems to go the route of "Bushido*". *For those that do not understand what that means here is an explnation. “Bushido is realized in the presence of death. This means choosing death whenever there is a choice between life and death. There is no other reasoning.” ― Tsunetomo Yamamoto, Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai
aqqh Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 mod maker has locked up every ariea where a comment could be make to them with out first "buying" the mod. surely this has nothing to do with probably several hundreds comments where he was spammed with "mods should be free" or insulted... There are three ending technically, 1 Bad End (that I hope to connect to other slavery mods) You could try something like Simple Slavery by jfraser - she would just sell player on an auction. Dont think that any other mod has universal slave trader system tho i guess Zaira (Maria Eden) is thinking about adding such. NPC Slavery. While there will be dom content available in this release the player won't be a true master without this. Random npcs - like capturing of defeated npcs for example? Or just "premade" npcs like Erani?

Oh I don't doubt that he/she/they where, but that is my point, the "paid" moding system pits players vs players. Instead of us "standing togeather as one" we are now starting to get devided by the game company's (Valve and Bethesda to start it off) to (from what I can see) end modding of games all togeather. Now granted that is a "worst-case scenario", but that is just my own far sight.
Slorm Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 @Vel Sorry this is OT, but a long while back in this thread you mentioned you prefer playing lower level characters, I was wondering what mod you used to slow down levelling?
AprilR Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Personally I prefer low levels because of weird scaling mechanic. All these bandits/bums/beggars with glass/daedric armors/weapons late game just weird. I use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9857/ I stick to hide/steel armor/weapon with elven/orc/dwarwen as top tier and leave daedric/draconic (crafted) for epic boss figths only. Playstyle that was most enjoyable for me: From start I decided that I wanna play rogue type, so almost no magic, no heavy armor/weapons. Focus skills - sneak, one handed, marksman and alchemy. With enough one handed and sneak skill dagger can onehit opponents from behind (cool animation is nice bonus). Alchemy is for tough situations and enjoyable in way "long preparations - strong effect", various potions are life savers in various ways: damage/debuff poisons versus big guys (dragons, giants), invisibility potion for crowds which you cant sneak around, fire/frost/lightning resist for dragons fights. One thing - do not overuse alchemy to brew lot of heal potions, that will break atmosphere. In dungeons I sneak, trying to split enemies and lure single enemies: shoot arrow somewhere nearby enemy -> he will go to check out noise where arrow struck floor/wall -> go for backstab. Most times I prefer to not kill-them-all, unless it is objective, so I go "thief" like style - stick to shadows, loot treasures, kill only when necessary. Few rules I try to adhere to for better immerse: - no potion drinking during combat (yeah, it is tempting to hotkey heal mmo style) - no shout on cooldown (for me it is ace in sleeve to get out of hairy situation, not something I do every fight) - no AI abuse - go slowly, inspect surroundings, enjoy scenery For me game was more interesting that way: splinter cell style pick-them-one-by-one with bandits, horror stealth versus monsters (nope, I am not poking that giant-mammoth-size-spider), witcher style boss/dragon fights (high on drugs with poisoned weapons). I guess most players will find it way too slow in comparison to run-n-kill-every-thing approach, but it felt right for me.

I use this mod (as odd as it sounds): http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1175/? While it lets you extend leveling pretty much forever you can control how fast or slowly you level skills or how much those skills work to increase your level. Since I do a lot of crafting and enchanting I set mine up so those skills contribute pretty much nothing to raising the characters level.
Veladarius Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 There are three ending technically, 1 Bad End (that I hope to connect to other slavery mods) You could try something like Simple Slavery by jfraser - she would just sell player on an auction. Simple Slavery is one, possible SD+ (let them take you away) or any others that can take the player. NPC Slavery. While there will be dom content available in this release the player won't be a true master without this. Random npcs - like capturing of defeated npcs for example? Or just "premade" npcs like Erani? Pretty much any npc. I was looking to have various sets of dialogue and the npc would use one of them depending on some of their characteristics.
