So, another one gets caught on the elenwyn. I just discovered that when you return from a job that the customer was unsatisfied and the master decides to punish, it freezes, just like my issues one quests 2,3,and 4. Out of curiosity, zepherry, do you have simple slavery and/or SD+ installed? I have those and since we both have this issue, I'm looking for links that may help pinpoint the issue.

 

I do use SD+ but I haven't used SS for a while, given that I was getting the notorious fall forever problem.  

 

When I get home I'm going to try uninstalling anything that uses FNIS and start reinstalling them one at a time to see if anything is causing issues with the furniture animations.

 

 

And as for ClintonJD- My issue is (as far as im concerned) not an issue with Veladrius' mod at all.  I'm having animation issues with the furniture which isn't so much indicative of a problem on his end so much as it's an issue with my machine, I would think.  I came here to ask because given that the scene has a lot of furniture, I assumed the problem may have presented itself in the past and I could get help.

Hello! I love this mod, and I just started playing through the new expansion questline, but i'm running into an issue with elenwen.

 

Whenever the furniture portion starts, I just get stuck staring at the initial rack, and any time i try to activate it, my screen zooms out for about 5 seconds, and then rubberbands back to the blindfold view.

 

Now, the suggestions I found when I dug through these forums were to either /wait or manually move yourself into the rack, but neither of these worked.  I also tried jumping forward with setstage but at that point the scripts for the events stopped working, and so I'm unsure what to do now.

 

All my required mods for CD are up to date, and I re-ran FNIS as well to double check.

 

Can anyone help me get this working?

2 crashes is a bit much for 1 quest, you used to tell us how smooth things would run for couple hours such clean pap logs and such, now you're running from a crashed game and calling it perfect...be shocked if i crash once a week

Since it is an internal issue with SexLab and there is nothing I can do to fix it. When it crashes SexLab is at the same point every time according to the logs (I have checked several dozen times) and all of my scripts are suspended at that point (by design). Other than these crashes I don't crash, I typically play for several hours with no issues other than running my graphics card at 100% most of the time.

 

Also, as I said other than the 2 crashes it ran perfectly, there were no issues with npc's getting stuck or attacking walls or locked in the cage with me, no issues getting into and out of furniture or any other issues. Here is my log covering a good part of the quest: attachicon.gifPapyrus.2.rtf While the log is over 1mb it covers just over 2 hours of play with heavy use of SexLab, the only errors during play are from SexLab and Fill er Up, no repeating errors as most logs over 1mb typically have that I see.

 

Besides, with the version of SexLab that was out when I started making it the game crashed every time and could not continue when reloaded.

I love this embassy section for lots of little reasons, one of which is the furniture demo thing.

A half hour ago and several pages of unreadable text before, the milking machine was very misaligned for the Assistant.

 

But when I reinstalled XPMSE, disabled CME per her instructions, and (I forget most of the rest), it worked perfectly.

The biggie thing with waiting in front of the horsy wood thing solved itself upon a reload (I save tons during this quest).

Also, setscale 0.9 on the furniture seemed to help alignment lots.

The most complicated thing I prolly did was tell my mod organizer not to overwrite anything in skse like xp32's mod asked.

It's like rolling freaking dice, but I got lucky tonight.

So Yay mod, Yay xpmse (second reinstallation this week),

and fuzzy praise for racemenu (xpmse prefers it over ECE).

 

 

 

 

 

I think the player's alignment issue is related to the camera, it isn't locked like it was before v6. This doesn't explain the npc's though and all I am doing is using an AI package to tell them to 'sit' on the furniture the same way as the player does in scenes. I will try out the scale trick and see if I can get it to work.

 

 

 

 

After being all happy the game noticed, and locked me in the dungeon (right after the Furniture Demo scene).

The assistant is locked in the cell to my right, suction cups still on.

To my left is a gagged Alius.

 

OK I've read every faq and scoured my memory,

But it seems the guard leading me to Elenwen's party no longer wishes to speak, thereby adancing the quest.

(So if I cheat and advance it myself, I'll just stand naked in the upstairs hallway with her in front, patiently waiting for god-knows-what.)

No crashes. Less misalignments.

Things are much better. And I hope I get unstuck soon.

 

"Showquesttargets" is unreadable, I am but happy to include in this message.

(I did movetoqt cdxexpquest02, and it kept saying "No current targets")

All quest dialogues ceased, although the sexlab scenes finished, after I manually and carefully setstaged the quest to the end.

 

At the ending, Master said stuff like "What does my little slave need, hmm?"

and Herran just repeated "I think I like you better this way".

 

So, same time next week, it takes my game that long to restart and get back to where I would be if the quest were just starting.

Something flattened the quest but restarting always helps.

 

 

What exactly was the guard doing and what was your character doing? If you were in the cell then you need to use the activator other wise it may be another mod interrupting things.

 

If you advanced the quest to the last stage then it is done, it handles a bit of cleanup and that is it. The dialogue you are seeing is the normal dialogue for them.

 

 

the guard was standing in front of the cell after I used the stone chair to activate.

My character (from that point on) couldn't move much, so on a hunch I enabled the controls and walked out to the guard.

She said "hmm?"

So I disabled the controls and my character walked back into the cell.

 

I seem to remember it used to be,

activate the stone chair

then activate the sleeping bag, but that's probably later on.

as the quest advanced, because I did it manually,

no one spoke their lines.

Elenwen did not appear for the final bedroom scene, so I conjured her up.

Then suddenly there were two Elenwens.

One for the scenes,

One to stand and watch (the one that watched was the one I conjured).

I gotta go now, but I'll edit this if I think of anything else.

one thing though is there a way to "turn" down the sex act the npc's have in the shop 

thy are like going on and on with 10sec breake and its getting to be a pain when you talk to master and she sudenly desides to go fuck some one and you then have to start convo all over ;p

Are you sure it's this mod? Are you using Random Sex or anything like that?

Are you sure it's this mod? Are you using Random Sex or anything like that?

 

 

Yea, that is definitely not Captured Dreams causing that, this mod only uses SL animations in very specific story quest related situations.  You must have another mod getting a bit out of control like random sex or More Devious Quests madness events/NPC abuse.

Just started testing out this mod tonight.  My character got the custom cuffs and chastity bra put on by the Master.  One thing I noticed is that blacksmiths will take money for removing "chains" and "bra" but these devices won't be removed.

 

I guess that the arm cuffs and bra not coming off is probably intentional, but figured I'd double check, since blacksmiths also take money and a dialog box pops up saying your character has been freed even when she has not been.  Are these supposed to come off, or not until you pay the extortion fee to The Master?

I guess that the arm cuffs and bra not coming off is probably intentional, but figured I'd double check, since blacksmiths also take money and a dialog box pops up saying your character has been freed even when she has not been.  Are these supposed to come off, or not until you pay the extortion fee to The Master?

 

If you are talking normal blacksmiths outside of the captured dreams store, you must have a different mod that added the option for blacksmiths to remove items (SD+ possibly?).  I wouldn't recommend trying to get out of captured dreams quest gear other than from options provided by captured dreams if you want to avoid issues.

OK, I am using SD+, and didn't realize Captured Dreams didn't allow removal by this method.  I restored an earlier save just to avoid issues.  I have to admit I was surprised at the amount of money The Master asks for and also that the quest was actually timed, since normally in Skyrim people wait forever without complaint. :)  Anyway, I guess I'll try the Captured Dreams quests a little later when I have more gold saved up in a chest.

I am in the Thalmor Embassy right now (that quest when you must deliver things to Elenwen), and guards appear to be bugged. It occurs in 'Party' episode (the one where you are wearing party clothes and boots): the screen blacks out, I am teleported to the embassy hall, and then every single guard starts attacking the floor. No, really. Melee soldiers keep swinging their blades, wizards spam fireballs in a single point on the ground. They attack infinitely, I tried to wait for 999 ingame hours for no result. Every other non-guard NPC remains calm, talking brawl stuff like 'Oh gods they are actually fighting', 'My bet at the big one' and such. Is there a fix or workaround?

i have those mods, but haven't tried the scenes you're describing, just wondering what relation thos mods have to the issue or the scene that made you inquire

actually the repeated errors in your log show sexlab issues with facial experessions

i have both of those, but haven't used the scene you describe to help, just curious how those mods would be related to it that made you inquire

chains are not refered to in dd and as such aren't in cd, but the cd blacksmith will remove any standard chastity bra or cuffs if you get a letter from the assistant or from kara in the shop

Hi All, where is the zazAnimation 6.2?. The latest I saw (and have installed) is 6.04. With this mod enabled, I get a CTD on launch.

there is no 6.2, but 6.04 is a patch, meaning you need 6.0 installed with 6.04 saved over top of those files and that's likely your issue

There is no direct relation, I'm merely looking for any and all possible links. all 3 are mods that use scripts to control scenes  and add/remove devices and such. Sure, it is a stretch to look for conflicts there but I'll explore every avenue I can think of. Since half of CD isn't working for me and a small number of people also have similar issues, there must be an issue of some sort SOMEwhere, that's what I'm looking for.

I had the issue when I installed one the first version of 'Devious device - more devious quest' : during punishment master puts a collar on the player that paralyze the player when she tries to attack. Something in 'devious device-more devious quest' made CD believe the player initiated an attack.

 

I think you should search which mode trigger such an invisible attack.

 

Otherwise CD works fine with SD+ and simple slavery.

I'd like to reduce my gold rewards by around x5 to match my other economy balance mods, but I'm new to Papyrus. Anyone got any tips on how to go about this? it looks like additem (Payment, 500) is the command that gives player the coins, but I can't figure out how or where to define Payment. Could I just change the 500 to 100?

after reinstalling all mods with FNIS and xp32's skeleton, I have resolved my issue.  None of these mods were out of date, but reinstallation seems to have fixed my problems with the furniture.  Thanks all!

I didn't add any sex acts to the shop itself, seems silly to do so when everyone but the Master is locked up. Random Sex will cause it, I usually turn it off when I enter or during scenes.

If any items have the 'zad_blockgeneric' keyword on them other than items from CD my scripts will not remove them. The keyword is supposed to be used on quest items or items not considered generic. Even then, the quest items from CD will not be removed by my smith, she will only remove generic items, anything else must be removed by finishing the quest.

My quest devices can't be removed (at least should not be) by other mods, doing so can break quests. Any generic items the Master may put on you are normal items and can be removed by whatever means any mod provides.

 

Several quests are timed, the most notable one being the delivery quest. The Recovery quest will likely be getting a time limit along with some other features in v4.

 

The costs for removing devices were set when few mods put items on your character, Skyrim has become somewhat more 'exciting' since then.

Hi, Been using the mod on and off for 2 years now, but never bothered with anything but the basic delivery quests until now, and never bothered commenting on anything on this forum

 

However, the new stuff blew me away - while it's heavy on the cutscenes, it's far more immersive than any of the other stories I've been through.

 

Been avoiding spoilers and just completed the Elenwyn quest, (was) returned to the shop to find all the extra buildings sprung up around the area (did I miss some construction scenes?) so went exploring. Looked around the manor house and picked up a ebony heavy shield lying on the floor - didn't seem to stick to the wall mount. I was so into the immersion at the time that I thought "crap, could this be viewed as stealing from the master?" so immediately dropped the red hand marked evidence. On turning around, The guard was right there, and I was expecting some new punishment scene, when they simply said something along the lines of 'you've dropped this, you'll be needing it' and handed the shield right back to me, this time without any incriminating icons to give it away as stolen, Cheers that guard!

 

So, some sort an issue with an anti-littering script not recognising items the player just stole? would be interesting to see a captured dreams internal bounty/punishment system - "we won't report you to the hold, we'll just open a ledger for you... you'll pay it off, I guarantee it." :)

I played Skyrim a few months ago, but stopped for a while. I know I was looking around for a mod with the exact same concept as this one and because of it, I got back into the game :)

 

I just have a small problem. I downloaded the latest version of ZazAnimationPack, but when I go into the game, it still tells me that I have an outdated version. It says I have 600 installed instead of 602. I tried going into FNIS for modders and checking that, but I'm not too sure what's wrong. Is there that much of a difference in interaction with the mod if I don't have the exact version? And if possible, would you mind posting a link to the most recent version? Thank you!

You will need 3 files.  (All but the German one, unless you want it in german)

install Main v0600, Textures v0600, and then overwrite them with Patch v0604.

But now the final bedroom scene where the dialogue is "please don't do this" etc,

then scenes,

Then the dialogue repeats,

Then more scenes try to start

"Time to finish what you started",

and a freeze.

  It's gotta be a timing or a memory thing, I'm at a loss to explain why a restart

of the game or my computer fixes stuff.

 So it isn't you, it's an old car doing 80 on the freeway and occasionally it blows a gasket or two.

 

The endlessly repeating dialogue in the bedroom was a first,

And it made me wonder if the programing machine has a flush-buffer mechanism?

Apparently the game can run so long before all the stuff throws a riot.

My skse.ini cannot be attached but it can be pasted, if I use the right browser.

ok so i am at the embassy with elenwyn i passed the stage with the guards where at the end the elf tries to use both hands but elenwen stops hur without a problem but now i am at the next part where i have to get on a wooden phony in the room with the devices but nothing happens everybody just stares at me and thats it nothing

Apparently the game can run so long before all the stuff throws a riot.

The log is pretty much nothing but SexLab errors, most are not during the sex scenes themselves. The repeating dialogue is likely due to the script at the end of the scene not being able to complete so the scene does not complete, it just repeats the last phase (dialogue).

 

 

ok so i am at the embassy with elenwyn i passed the stage with the guards where at the end the elf tries to use both hands but elenwen stops hur without a problem but now i am at the next part where i have to get on a wooden phony in the room with the devices but nothing happens everybody just stares at me and thats it nothing

 

I don't know why people have issues with the furniture, I have not had them so I have no way of troubleshooting the problem. Most who have had success typically have reinstalled their skeleton and/or rerun FNIS.
