Lyskorie Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 54 minutes ago, Zodiarch said: Great mod, thank you! However, I have a suggestion: Could you consider removing or adding a gamerule to remove all the requirements for holy sites in decisions related to this mod, such as 'introduce mystical practices' or 'introduce the spirit world to the faith'? I believe this would make the mod much more compatible with any custom religions added through other mods. I started in the far east of the map as a futanari with the futanari mod. After doing a ruin investigation, I was given the option to convert to the Hermillian faith added by this mod. However, I later realized that all the holy sites are located on the opposite side of the world. While I understand that you aim to keep your mod somewhat "lore accurate" -which I respect- I must admit that starting in the central or western Europe region so many times has become quite tiresome xD Not exactly something under consideration, I'm afraid. The idea is that you're broadening your horizons by travelling to places where relevant faiths are involved in this sort of thing. Western Europe is really only "crowded" with spots because that's where the Leananic faith is, and half of them aren't even actual holy sites on spawn - I just could never got exclusions to work. The Eastern Meditteranean & Arabia would probably be, by my count, the area with the highest density of holy sites, and it also happens to be in the sorta-centre of the map (at least by pre-AUH standards). That said, what it really checks for is whether you have travelled through the baronies/provinces on which a Lilithist holy site is located - you don't have to actually follow any Lilithist faith. This does mean that passing through Mecca would count, for example, as it is a Khadimist holy site. One thing you can do is plan a travel plan to go to university, or a long pilgrimage, or a monument expedition (with Wandering Nobles) - then manually path through eligible baronies. Theoretically, with how I coded it, you can still "visit the holy sites" even in a total conversion as long as the province ID matches up, even if it doesn't make sense with the conceit of the TC itself (assuming that province ID isn't a water tile). On "lore accuracy" (if we're calling it that, I prefer to see it as a more rigid adherence to (admittedly thin amounts of) recorded materials) - I did write out this in response to another user asking about adding more faiths to cover the map expansion: On 12/29/2025 at 1:47 PM, Lyskorie said: Adding faiths to covert [sic] the map expansion is definitely on the agenda, but a persistent problem is that Lilith is specifically a very Abrahamic thing, so the further you got from it it gets more convoluted to make it even feasible from a "how much does this make sense" perspective - you'd already get a taste of this from Umayist and Lilityadharma. This distance, plus East Asia not exactly having anything analogous to succubi (outside of fox spirits, which are coming, but that's an entirely different paradigm and again, not analogous enough) makes this rather difficult. [...] For rather obvious reasons, "adding new holy sites" also ties to the above. [...] On the upcoming 0.18 patch, I'm porting Xuansu from Carnalitas Dei over (which admittedly isn't really a "succubus" faith per se, more of Daoist tantric sex practices), as well as more or less "inventing" a fictional form of Shaktism to cover the areas of South East Asia under Indianised influence, more or less in the same vein how Lilityadharma was Horny Vajrayana Buddhism. Also, they're planned to also be points of interest with very minor bonuses, just to make planning one journey through a lot of them easier. Oh yeah, I guess this is also a new dev teaser as well. 1

However, it seems I wasn’t able to explain my point properly. What I meant was the strict requirement that your player character and faith must control a certain number of holy sites. The only way for me to make those decisions available would be to conquer almost the entire world, from the Philippines to Ireland. My suggestion would be to introduce some kind of workaround. For example, if you are the head of your faith, you could ignore this requirement. Phaze Star found a good solution for this. If you follow the Hermillian faith, you gain a decision to reform the faith without needing to control any holy sites. Edited January 8 by Zodiarch

What I meant was the strict requirement that your player character and faith must control a certain number of holy sites. In this example, I have options and would eventually be able to use it. The only way for me to make those decisions available would be to conquer almost the entire world, from Thailand to Ireland. My suggestion would be to introduce some kind of workaround. Perhaps I can think about revising the requirements, but waiving it completely is a no-go. You are introducing drastic and indelible changes to a faith, and expecting everyone else following that faith to go along with it - you are not really in a position to do so unless your primacy within the faith is extremely clear cut. 1

Lyskorie Posted January 13 Author Posted January 13 Daughters of Lust 0.18 is out. This one is a beefy one (hopefully it can show out of the fact that I overshot my original deadline by two weeks). I now have a Ko-fi, if you would like to support me financially and have the means to. ICYMI, I have a Event Idea Submission form! While not everything suggested can be implemented, I try to look at every suggestion and bring ideas that I think have potential into the mod. Outside of that, I also check this very thread and the #lyskorie-mods channel in the Carnalitas Discord server rather often. Changelog as follows: Quote Changelog Features Daughters of Lust: Ninetails: Introducing DOL's newest module, Ninetails: Fox Spirits are now part of DOL - build up your longevity and attain tails in your quest for immortality. Utilises the XP track system and decimal-pointing XP to keep track of years (and tails) - every octant of the bar represents gaining a tail, starting at 1 and ending at 9. You are required to complete a Trial to unlock gaining more trait XP (and subsequently gain more tails). On gaining nine tails (and maxing out the trait XP) you can become a Celestial Fox and effectively become immortal. In a divergence from real-life fox myths, you gain (enough progress to gain) a tail every 20 years, instead of 100, and can also expedite this process by succeeding in Seduce schemes. This is a change made for the sake of gameplay, as no sane person would play a 1000 year long CK3 game. A Fox Spirit Lifestyle has been introduced, in which buffs and abilities related to the use of Essence (a Fox Spirit-exclusive currently not dissimilar to Sexual Power) can be unlocked over time. Essence is gained passively every half year, and capped by the number of tails you currently have. While you can gain Essence through sex (scaled with learning), this is only possible every six months (shortened to three months with a perk in the new lifestyle). Similar to succubi, you have an option to start with a starting scenario. While it is intended that you are exclusively a succubus or a fox spirit, game rules exist that allow you to be both. In this case, in certain functions that both share (such as Draining), the succubus variant will supersede the fox spirit one. You can still attain annual "experience" and tails as a secret fox, and your Essence limit will also be applied normally - however, you will not benefit from actually having the trait. Shambhala Hegemony Assert Shambhala Hegemony: With Legends of the Dead, when completing the legend seed given by forming Shambhala, the holder of the Shambhala empire will be given a choice to elevate Shambhala into a hegemony either through military force or through internal harmony within 100 years. Bellicose: Assert your hegemony-ness by winning wars against others, maintaining a strong military presence, and instill dread on your own subjects. Inward: Assert Shambhala's place as a spiritual hegemon by maintaining spiritual homogeneity, improving development, county control and low dread Both paths also have their passive progress impacted by territorial integrity (how much of de jure Shambhala is held), legitimacy, long reign and not embroiled in a civil war. One can also turn down an attempt to hegemonise Shambhala and attain simple rewards as was previously. Extreme Perils (suggestion by @hentral) An optional gamerule now brings extra difficulties to revealing or being revealed as a succubus: Rulers within diplomatic range that are hostile towards will gain a hefty opinion penalty towards you, and some may even try to slay you. If you are a vassal, your liege may decide to banish, imprison or force you to abdicate. Landed rulers may face a revolt from succubus-hostile vassals. If you are an adventurer, you will lose any non-criminal contracts and any not issued by a ruler sympathetic to succubi. You will also not get random contracts nor be able to spawn contracts via holding visit in a county perceived as hostile. House Aspirations: Mandala - Aspect of Desire Requires House Head to be a succubus or a fox spirit to adopt. More or less lean Learning, which none of the other Aspects covered, but you also get an increasingly powerful modifier depending on how many lovers you have, depending on your Aspect level. As Mandala aspects are rather restrictive in terms of modding capabilities, essentially treat this as Aspect of Creation with different buffs - the various mandala events you get will lean towards Creation, as well as requirements for the Rite of Worthiness to upgrade your Capital Temple Complex Merit (Celestial/Meritocratic/Merit Khanate) - Sensuality Requires House Head to either be female, a succubs, a fox spirit, Lustful, Seducer, Prostitute or have a faith that exalts lust. Bonuses include Domicile Income, Attraction Opinion, Poet trait experience, Personal & Political Scheme Growth bonus, and Influence gain on sex. Japanese - Sensuality Requires House Head to either be female, a succubs, a fox spirit, Lustful, Seducer, Prostitute or have a faith that exalts lust. Bonuses include monthly Influence, Attraction Opinion, Intrigue & Learning bonus, Initial Personal & Political Scheme Chance bonus, and Influence gain on sex. Also unlocks the Shokan, a Japanese domicile-exclusive line of buildings representing a brothel (and later Yuukaku - red light district), which also grants access to the Visit the Brothel decision in the same vein as the Brothel duchy building. Administrative - Sensual Seducers Requires House Head to either be female, a succubs, a fox spirit, Lustful, Seducer, Prostitute or have a faith that exalts lust. Bonuses include Personal & Political Scheme Growth bonus, hastened Romance and Seduce schemes, Attraction opinion, and Influence gain on sex. Carnalitas Mundi Integration Carnalitas Mundi has been fully updated for CK3 1.18 and integrated into Daughters of Lust. A standalone updated version of Carnalitas Mundi will also be updated alongside. Others New Bookmark Character: Asena: The mythological she-wolf and progenitor of the Turkic peoples of the steppe. Includes aspirations to restore the Gokturk Khaganate (as a hegemony), spread Umay/Lilitism or give birth to a diverse cultural host of succubus daughters. New faiths: Lilityasampradaya, a Lilit-ised form of the goddess-centric Shaktism tradition, focused on South East Asia Xuansu, originally from Carnalitas Dei: a tantric and sensual Daoist school Split Lilityadharma into its own Dharmic family, named Raticarya. Umayist now has its own version of succubus opinion doctrine with different buffs and virtue traits. You can adopt Lilityasampradaya if you fulfill certain conditions as a Hindu ruler. You may now convert to Umayist and Lilityadharma through random travelling, as was with Maromil/Madeleinist/Khadimist. Succubus Mastery modifier has now been modified into a scaled modifier, scaling using the Succubus Mastery Level variable. The Seasoned variant of this modifier has been depreciated. A Succubus Awakening scheme is now available at 100 Sexual Mastery levels: meant to be a faster, Learning-based scheme for awakening succubus powers in a character with succubus ancestry. A Demonology Ascension scheme is now available at 100 Sexual Mastery levels: Increase a demon's attunement and power with its host using the scheme. Gisele's Aspirations will now generate an Important Action notification. You can now actually consume succubus yogurt, sushan and kumis. "Lilithist Holy Sites" are now Points of Interests, as well as Expedition Sites. These are toggle-able through a gamerule. You can now form the Western Gokturks (as the empire-tier Onoq Khaganate) and reform the First Turkic Khaganate (as a hegemony, through a special GoK-esque decision). Reforming the First Turkic Khaganate acts as an alternate to, and effectively also completes, the Greatest of Khans story cycle if Khans of the Steppe is active. Much as the Greatest of Khans decision, you also have a 75 year deadline. Non-Khans of the Steppe owners will also have access to formation decisions, but none of the usual KotS related goodies such as men-at-arms and the like. Bookmark succubi has been given a pulse event that should clear out Infirm every once in a while to make sure they don't unceremoniously die in two years. Looking at you, Deirdre. Owning a Brothel duchy building or a Shokan Japanese domicile building will now also allows the usage of the new Recruit Courtesans decision. Tweaks Autervelt The Autervelt interface now uses the game's data type to break down the monthly Grace gain value, instead of an ungainly mess of scripted GUI checks that is a nightmare to maintain and add to. The breakdown is also now included on the Autervelt button's hover tooltip. Autervelt interface is now visible in observer mode. Fixed scoping errors for certain Autervelt interactions Autervelt punitive expeditions will now spawn relatively close to the offending ex-tributary, instead of in Reykjavik and wandering half the way around the world. Slightly nerfed Autervelt punitive expeditions' max army size. Autervelt phase change will no longer double dip. Faiths & Religions Decision to make succubus virtuous and proclaiming yourself as equal to Lilith has had the personally controlled holy site requirements dropped from 3 to 2 (@Zodiarch - while I cannot completely remove the requirements, lessening it is possible, as some faiths just have very weird holy site placements.) Mount Paektu/Changbai, Usuki and Fuji will provisionally count as "Lilithist Holy Sites" despite no DOL religion using them in 0.18, for the sake of geographical distribution. Update Pantheon window so that the Norse/Chinese/Japanese pantheon category sections and/or their respective Latin/special character toggles will not randomly linger around if you're not meant to see it. Moved the Succubus Opinion doctrine back to being a "special" category doctrine for visibility reasons in the Main tab. Let's hope it doesn't fuck up virtues this time. Added the previously debug-only "view Lilithist holy sites" mapregion viewer in the Proclaim Equal to Lilith decision. Every instance of "Lilitya" mentioned as a singular figure in Lilityadharma has been changed to "Lilit" in accordance with Lyskorie's newfound understanding of Sanskrit suffixes. Eosphoros, Serpentine, Hermaphrodite and Creitem Leannan now has the Local Rites pilgrimage doctrine. Khadimist now has the Hajj doctrine Khadimist now has No Anointment coronation doctrine, to be more in line with other Muslim faiths. Cleaned up a duplicate in the Mahayana "pantheon" Shambhala Hegemony related changes: Nerfed Inward Harmony option to have a lower chance of conversion if opted for the Hegemony formation, as religious homogeny is a part of the requirement to build up assertion and it would be too easy otherwise. Added flavourisation for the hegemony title. Others Grand Debauches can now also be held with treasury, piety or barter depending on government type/house power. Grand Debauches now have a five year cooldown, and will have the cooldown halved if culture has any parameter allowing more frequent feasts. Clamped down on travel entourage selection so that the game doesn't force random courtiers to join your "entourage" and therefore the grand debauch/orgy. Rearranged, reshuffled and removed some pre-set Expedition sites because there's quite a lot in Asia now. Special men-at-arms are now approximately 10% stronger than previously. Demonology schemes to summon a demon will now also take into account Intrigue for base success, as well as a lesser penalty against barons (none) and counts (-20 instead of -50) Transforming human women into succubi through sex as a futa succubus is now an opt-in, instead of automatic. (@Xiloscient) Aspasia is no longer a loose, independent landless noble family, but now properly one under the Byzantine Empire. Fixed a borked hidden effect in the Succubus Breastfeeding interaction. Succubi and Fox Spirits will not take the health malus from laying with the wayward succubus while travelling. Fixed tooltip for the Succubus Realms mapmode, and added a tooltip for if a county has a succubus on location but is not a leader (colored blue) Fixed Alter Self Milk option sometimes randomly taking away milk production instead. The Dominion of Lust will now be under a de jure hegemon if you are currently holding a Hegemon title. Buffed certain character templates. Buffed Brothel tier II and III gold income Made random-odds AI succubus conversion pulse slightly more common Reworded the whole "looted by horde" description in the Dominion demand submission war to be slightly more polite and nice. Event accusing a succubus ruler of harlotry should not fire for a revealed succubus, as their harlotry is already rather obvious. Suspicion events now have additional checks to prevent fellow succubi, witches, herbalists, Goetic demons and Autervelt-originated courtiers from being accuser in events accusing you of being a succubus. Introduce loc keys for Salmakis and Elegy of Hermaphroditus for the sake of localisation. Properly removed the buggy max domain slot effect. Fox Spirits can also use the Devaraja Ascension decision depending on number of tails attained. Adopted More Lifestyles' modified lifestyles panel to make clicking the new Fox Spirit lifestyle even possible. Miracle Births are now logged under both parents in a succubus_birth_children variable list to keep track of in code, as are Cambions in the succubus_cambion_children Bookmark character highlights are now half-size for size saving, and also added proper colored backgrounds for newer bookmark characters. (Debug) Debug decision to test succubus powers now set levels at a full 1000 for testing certain decisions that require that many All character interactions now use is_available instead of the depreciated ai_potential Certain tech debt considerations taken care of, partially due to the move to CK3 1.18 Added (untranslated) localization for the Bloodlines part, as well as new localization keys introduced in 0.18. Akashi_1944 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Few QoL improvement suggestions. It might be nicd to give an event or tooltip explaining how a Kitsune gets her tails, because in my first run I was completely lost. It also might be nice if excess essence could be used to get Fox Spirit xp, because it takes forever to get XP otherwise. Also it would be nice if we could see our character in her fox form, even if it is just for the ritual scene before revelation. Like I said, purely QoL stuff, no need to make it a priority.
KinkyyyRaven Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Increased fertility doesn't work by my succubus character. Last child happened when she was 45. Any ideas, how can I correct this problem?
Kalgemini Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Trying the new Fox content, I've unlocked the "Adaptive Seductions" Perk that gives access to a "Charm" interaction. But I can't find how to use this interaction. (Guess it should appear when right clicking on any other character, right?) Spoiler For context if it helps: My game rules allow both Fox and Succubus content, but my character didn't unlock her succubus ancestry (yet)

anonanon421 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Do I need to do something to activate gaining fox spirit XP? Started as a ruler designer character with the trait, and I don't seem to have gotten XP several years and many seductions later. I should be getting one every two years, right?
Kalgemini Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) After a few hours testing (with and without succubus content allowed), seems like most fox spirit content is not working atm. * powers are not available once earned (charm action) * can't take most perks even if they don't requiere a fixed amount of tails(only 7 are available) * don't earn fox xp * can't use the trial decision to gain more tails (waited 20years, game say to pass trial but requierement is not ok - probably linked to not earning fox xp) Nb: just stating what I saw not working properly. No offense intended, I love the mod Edited January 15 by Kalgemini

Ruler designer-assigned gameplay isn't yet supported (which frankly I entirely forgot about, since I do my testing using bookmark characters) - use the start scenario and awaken ancestry for now. Fox Spirit stuff runs on a story cycle that's meant to be assigned at the same time you get the trait/secret, and through that story cycle you get periodical essence and "year" accumulation, and iirc that isn't applied yet for ruler designer-based foxes. I'll put that down for the next update.

No offense intended, I love the mod Noted - I found that in testing it also doesn't show up, which is rather bizzare considering the relatively simple triggers it requires. Looks like some of the custom tooltips to render the requirements do not show up properly, but otherwise some perks being gated away until you have certain numbers of tails is intentional. As mentioned in my reply above, will not work if you take the trait through ruler designer as it requires a story cycle and I haven't hooked the effect to create the story cycle into a ruler designer character yet Point 3, plus the fact that I apparently used > instead of the intended >= for secret foxes for some reason. Also don't worry about it, I'm a one man team so with such expansive works sometimes I will miss things that feels like it's rather obvious when checking back - I do appreciate those being pointed out.
Lyskorie Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 Figured out why some abilities don't show up - it seems that the new is_available block that replaced the depreciated ai_potential block checks for both AI and human players. I may have been a bit too zealous in just straight up replacing it.
Awiel Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I love this mod! Since this patch, I’ve been mostly testing the Fox Spirit. I’ve found two issues: first, even though I set exceptions so the Succubus and Fox Spirit aren’t together, the Aspirant event still occurs, trying to turn me into a succubus (of course, for RP reasons, I can decline). Second, once the character surpasses the 45-year threshold, the Prostitute trait is blocked due to being 'overage.' This makes no sense because the character’s age is visually frozen; the Fox is a lust spirit and will likely be immortal in the future. I remember this problem being fixed for Succubus characters in a recent update. 1
Lyskorie Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 Update 0.18.1 is out. Changelog: Quote Update 0.18.1 Ninetails Fixed some requirements tooltip not showing up in Fox Spirit lifestyle due to the tooltip being coded as a modifier instead of an effect. Fixed Seek Enlightenment decision not available for secret foxes due to a usage of > instead of >= Ability interactions, particularly the fox ones, should be available again - turns out is_available (which replaces the depreciated ai_potential) checks for both AI and player. Ruler designer foxes should get properly initialised now. Properly implemented Esoteric Cannibalism ability perks. Slightly buffed tail experience and lifestyle XP gain on seduce (and by proxy, on devouring through non-Imbibitor Animae means) Character portrait will now show fox ears and tail(s) on the Enlightenment trial event. Fox spirits should no longer be forced out of prostitution by 45, as well as not being targeted by Aspirant events. Other Drain All Prisoners now a decision - will drain all eligible prisoners until you run out of people to drain or hit Sexual Power cap, whichever comes first. Fixed the Shokan Japanese domicile building line incorrectly referring to itself as needing the Service house aspiration in the requirement tooltips. Added a gamerule allowing for optional Lilithist faith spawning on the map on start. Relocated the Ryukyu permanent expedition site to Usuki, the alleged location of the cave Amaterasu hid in, and Ame-no-Uzume doing her (allegedly) erotic dance; Tsushima site is also replaced with St. Catherine in Sinai. Succubus Realms mapmode now available in observer mode. Expeditions unfortunately still require scoping to a character during observer. Trimmed an unusued effect block from Asena's story cycle used for checking an aspiration's completion.
Charindy Posted January 15 Posted January 15 It seems like even if you have passive succubi generation gamerule turned off that the passive aspirant 5 year pulse will still fire and potentially generate more npc succubi? Doesn't look like there's actually a gamerule check in cdol_on_actions.txt for cdol_passive_aspirant_pulse unlike cdol_passive_succubus_transformation_pulse or dol_ntls_passive_fox_transformation_pulse.
