UPDATE: The tails are actually working, but it would be extremely helpful if there was some way to actually see how long you have before you grow a tail.

 

I actually thought it was still broken for some time due to the waiting.

Would love to, and is actively thinking of ways to do it, but making the AI do things you want to do is challenging because it's stupid - both succubus and not-succubus.

a random thought i had yesterday browsing through here seeing kitsune made it in now...

if you dont want them to be "all evil"
you could maybe have 2-3 different paths... (no idea how... 3 foxspirit lifestyles? (then again succubus probably could get lifestyles too?) or how succubus has 2 family legacy paths? (family?/demon?))

one path going like "trickster/mischief" (maybe lewd/sex goes in this path? or can be a 3rd path i guess)...  and this trickster path has stats and abilities that cause a bit of chaos... like maybe a ability that either gives +50 or -50 relation for some years between 2 persons (it being random of its + or -) ... or that makes two people either friends or rivals...
just doing little "random tricks" on people influencing them in random ways... like the kitsune doesnt care about the outcome... just having fun and seeing what happens or so?
maybe main stats diplomacy+intrigue? (i guess this could be similar to succubus family path)

another path could be then a "guardian spirit" path... that is more "good" aligned... where you can give out buffs with abilities to lieges or vassals as a benevolent spirit helping people...
like a +20 opinion buff to your liege... or to all your vassals... as a blessing.
maybe similar to demon succubus path you can get spirit animal armies or buffs for defence... guarding your territories... or such...
or stuff like +1 fort level i forests...
and main stats more on martial (defence)+ learning (spirit stuff) maybe?

3rd path a lewd sex focused one? *shrugs

Hello! Awesome mod. I can't seem to Reveal My True Colors as a Fox Spirit. It appears to be due to the game thinking I don't have 3 tails (even though I have 4). I did some investigating code-wise and I think I see what might be the issue: the decision Reveal My True Colors seems, to my untrained eye, to be dependent on a trigger that references the Fox Spirit trait's XP, which I can't have until I Reveal My True Colors. The Check Fox Stats decision appears to reference a variable that is disconnected from my ability to use the reveal decision. I might be totally incorrect and way off, but perhaps that's the issue? Or maybe I didn't properly update the mod. Regardless, I would appreciate some help, and I LOVE this mod, so thank you for all of your hard work!

 

EDIT: I should also add that I can't seem to acquire lifestyle perks from the Fox Spirit lifestyle tree for a very similar reason, as it appears to require Fox Spirit XP (from what I saw, it seems to reference the same trigger I discussed earlier). Is this intended, or am I way off from the issue? Regardless, this is another issue I've been having. Again, GREAT mod, and a staple of all my playthroughs.

Noted - seems to be an oversight on my part, as secret fox spirit gameplay was not originally part of the plan. Looks like when I had a change of heart and decided on it I forgot to go back and check this trigger (since as you have noticed it's based on the trait XP)

 

I'll get it updated asap.

From my observation the progression rate for 'Fox skill experience' is suboptimal; I feel that adding only 10 years at early levels is insufficient to unlock more tails. Especialy if u need across half map for tail.
Unfortunately, also from what I’ve observed, the character still ages visually. 

Additionally, I had set exceptions for the Fox and Succubus traits, yet upon acquiring the 'Witch' trait, I still gained access to the decision to become a Succubus. 
Regarding 'The Aspirant' event—it seems to trigger with excessive frequency for other characters.
Lastly, the Prostitute trait is available after 45yo, but once a character passes 45, the automated event pulse seems to stop, necessitating manual activation via decision every year (or so).

It is somewhat compatible. If you want to be a Futa Succubus and have genetic children, it works. Some of the triggers can be a bit funky, and some events may misfire or go a bit wonky, but otherwise it works well.

It seems that Cleopatra cant start properly. Egypt is set always to be administrative, but then she would be an independent noble family without liege.

I think you forgot to overwrite the house bloc creation scripted effect so the house bloc formation interactions will always fail silently if you have the sensuality house focus.

Same thing with the character interaction for demanding a house aspiration change.  Also don't know if you meant for the sensuality bloc to penalize your personal schemes instead of buffing them.

Not gonna lie, this lowkey is why i didn't like modding house aspirations/house power/mandala aspect (it's the same thing in code) - it's weirdly restrictive in places, and i'm not really a fan of touching vanilla if I could help it, for compatibility's sake.

 

I'll probably just clone the interaction(s) to give the Sensuality house focus its own interaction. And it should buff your personal schemes - I'll give it a look.

Probably the same problem that plagued Aspasia for a good while - the create noble family scripted effect is rather janky.

I never play with optional admin govts on because it's a huge strain on performance (especially on the decade old tin can I primarily play games and mod CK3 on), so I suppose it makes sense I never thought this could happen.

Love this mod, but I'm wondering if there's a way to include some kind of a secret succubus uniform (ie: some tweak made in barbershop that applies to all succubi that aren't revealed yet, ideally customizable, but I'd be happy with anything) in the same way other mods have assigned the submissive coller to all slaves, or make all court whores naked? - Once I've unlocked the legacy that allows all my female progeny to become succubi if they wish, it becomes increasingly difficult to track which members of my extended family are secretly succubi, and although I did start out by giving them all the druidess circlet in barbershop, so that I can see at a glance which of my promising progeny are already awakened and which will need me to manually convert them, now that I have 2304 living members of my dynasty and the roll of sistrens has 505 secret succubi ... that's a lot of manual barbershop tweaking going on and checking through long lists of characters!

Changelog:

  • Revealed Non-Celestial Fox spirits will have, in general, 30 more years of life expectancy.
  • Lyskorie's Lewd Emblems #684 onwards should properly show up now.
  • [AUH, Japan] If you are of Sensuality house aspiration, you get a clone of the Invite to House Bloc and Demand Change Aspiration effects that are meant to work with Sensuality house aspiration in mind. These cloned interactions will be signified with the DOL logo and a debug purple text - and will not be available if you don't have the Sensuality house aspiration (mostly to make sure AI doesn't mess up)
  • [AUH, Japan] Houses can also have Sensuality house aspiration if the leader of a House Bloc they are part of also has the Sensuality hosue aspiration.
  • Cleopatra no longer a loose noble family title but properly an Egyptian vassal if playing with Administrative Egypt gamerule.

Foxes have this last lifestyle skill; they don't lose their prowess with age.
For me, the only problem so far is that they're still aging.
Dont know maybe is this just happening to me?
At 80+, my Fox on The Tail quest, already had gray hair and wrinkles on her face. O.O

I also tested it with the new patch, and for now I'm forced to play as an Succub.

I have the same issue, there seems to be wrinkles around age 50ish for a fox character.

Short of just flippantly putting immortality onto the regular fox trait (which, frankly, would defeat the entire point) to block it entirely, it's hard to tell how "aging" works because it's not something that is documented in viewable code. 

 

My suspicions are that it is somehow tied to life expectancy (and by extension, your age) - as a succubus you do rack up a ridiculous amount of bonus life expectancy, even if you're not strictly "immortal", so wrinkling and aging visuals, while visible, is nowhere near as egregious. It's not a thing with fox spirits so it is entirely possible that as you age, the gap between age and life expectancy is smaller, leading to an older visual appearance. I'll try to see how best to rectify things without knackering everything up, but since this is something that is rather poorly attested overall, I cannot make any promises. 

 

I did notice that I didn't actually set an effect to set immortal age on the celestial fox ascension decision, so there is that at least.

Today I installed the daughters of lust. my futanari expedition option from phazes futanari mod in activities disappeared. the daughters of lust has its own expedition mechanic. but cant see that activity either. is it possible the y are conflicting with each other?

Neither have anything to do with one another. 

 

DOL's expedition is not a "true" activity in the sense that it's a thing you can click on the activity tab, like you'd expect normal activities to - you access it by interacting with someone whose realm has a site, and choose the "go on expedition" character interaction.

The idea of framing the Fox Spirit’s journey toward the ninth tail as a race against time, prioritizing personal ascension over mere domain management, adds a lot of immersion. It focuses me on reaching that final milestone, not just on conquests. I wouldn't want it to be simplified.
Maybe instead of extending age, it would be possible to simply rejuvenate the character?
Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with modding, so I just hope everything keeps working. For me, it’s one of the most enjoyable mods for CK3.

The Fox Spirit and Succubus exclusivity game rule doesn't seem to be working, at least not if you become a fox spirit first. I haven't tested it the other way around but I managed to become both by taking the decision from being a witch (not ancestry).

As always, great update. Thanks for the correction with events where witches could reveal the identity of a succubus. Now this nonsense is no longer in the game.
I've been waiting for characters from Asian myths and kitsune for a long time. The idea of having a separate skill tree for the fox character is just great! How much scope for role-playing opens up after this update!

I'm really looking forward to characters like Abe-no-Seimei and Tamamo-no-Mae since Cleopatra and Helen of Troy are in the game. It is interesting to look at the legendary nine-tailed kitsune, who bewitched Emperor Toba and plunged Japan into the abyss of the long-term "Civil War Gempei", putting an end to the Heian era.

 

By the way, since Hegemony titles are also in DoL, then it is logical to make a special title of Infernal Mandate for such rulers. Something like "Demon King" or 魔王. You can play as some really evil or ambitious Demon King and give him, like Genghis Khan, a special decision to start a Great War for Domination. If the Demon King loses, then his Hegemony will collapse, like Mordor after the destruction of the One Ring, and if he wins, then humanity will be enslaved by monsters. Human rulers will be stripped of their titles, and their entire race will be reduced to powerless servants. It will be ironic if at the beginning of the game succubi are persecuted creatures that everyone hates, and if Shambhala appears, people find themselves in their place.

It would be nice at the same time for humanity to improve their sacred orders to fight the Dominions of Lust, as well as make something like a profession of heroes or demon/youkai hunters to curb the growth of power and influence of succubi around the world.
