Just thought I'd pop in to say that the next minor update, 0.18.5, will be live as soon as possible after CK3 1.19 goes out to live. It is currently on open beta right now, so I expect it to be officially out some time in the first half of April.

 

I originally have a much loftier plan for a 0.19 major update (which, among other things, would constitute the keystone of an expansion on Expeditions and precursor ruins), but a combination of a lack of relevant sources to draw from, real-life circumstances and general burnout means that I have not been able to implement it as much as I have wanted. Though this does mean I'm on an informal sabbatical, I will continue to maintain incremental content updates and bug fixes - I'm not going anywhere, whether from DoL or from CK3 modding in general. While taking the occasional break on DoL, I have been working on another mod that should also see release on Steam Workshop around the time of the 1.19 patch going live.

 

Certain things that will come with 0.18.5 (full patchlog will come with the update, since certain detals are still up to change):

  • A "Lilithist" (if you can even call it that way) faith in Japan
  • Rewritten conditions to allow for more flexibility for Proclaiming Equal to Lilith decision
  • Arabic Pagan pantheon
  • Rebalanced pricing for travel events
  • Adjustments to (and options for) length of tail-gaining for fox spirits.

If there are any bugs you have noticed or tweaks that can improve the mod, do make sure to let me know so that I can put it in the next patch. Additionally, the Event Idea Submission form is always open and gathering suggestions, if you have any.

Hey, trying out the Kitsune start, and the Fox spirit trait does not appear in my traits (I don't know if it is supposed to be this way or a bug). I don't have anything to do with the Essence I gather, and I don't seem to be progressing either.

does your religion accept witchcraft? if not then it is a secret, secondly the exp gained is fractional which makes it appear as 0 exp but it takes 20 years for each tail

While the localization deals specificially in terms of being landed (which makes sense, the contents of Carn Mundi were done before landless were even a thing), I'd like to imagine that you're offering that to the people of whatever locale you are in as some sort of (in)famous travelling prostitute. Of course, it doesn't make a lot of sense for these to still be referred to as your subject but outside of contextual wording I think it's fine.

Is there a way to edit the logic of who joins succubus adventurer wars? Right now it seems like every one of these wars has as many succubus leaders joining to defend against the succubus as to join in with their attack, so I never join in because it always means fighting my own allies and vassals!

 

Also more than once they've decided to launch an attack on a duchy that I was in the middle of conquering, and then as soon as I win and take that title, I'm suddenly involved in a massive war with my own vassals on both sides that's effectively a civil war but we're all on perfectly good terms with each other and there's no way to stop the war other than slaughter lots of them!

is there a way or a mod to force your dynasty members to only marry matrilineally.

once i start giving titles to my daughters their daughters marry patrilineally and start losing lands from dynasty. i'd like to have a workaround, not to have to micromanage whole dynasty of 100+ members

If your realm law is set to Female Only, and you have the right Game Rule for Matrilineal marriage, then your vassals should be adopting that same realm law when you grant them land, and thus marry matrilineally as default. Though with having Medieval Matriarchs, for example, they are also inclined to have a male consort, since AI game logic doesn't always account for being able to have Futa-born children.

I'll give it a look, but iirc the way it is right now it's far more likely that a sucucbus would look the other way or assist the succubus adventurer, unless she has certain personality traits that mark her as particularly deceitful or prone to backstabbing.

Hi i am very new to this mod and enjoy it so far.
I notice that some succubus gain perk in seducer when they have sex with their lover but some of them(like my yakshi character) doesn't.
so how does this work exactly?

it's random chance on drainage.

With Chapter V announced and 1.19 officially pushed into live, Daughters of Lust update 0.18.5 will come this weekend at the latest.

Quick heads-up: My PC is most probably dead. 

 

While there is a Git repository, it doesn't represent the finalized 0.18.5 release and contains features that may not work or is already canned. An official update will most likely be delayed indefinitely until this hardware issue is resolved.

Hope nothing serious and you get it working again.

I have a question, if you dont start as a kitsune or with the event, how do you become one? 

also is there a way to disable cleopatra spawning? sometimes I dont want an immortal character around is all

Similar to how you would a succubus - take the decision that allows you to embrace ancestry

 

Also, no, but I wouldn't worry too much about it - the AI being rather stupid means that they don't often last beyond a few decades, even if they are "immortal" on paper

Changelog:

Update 0.18.5

Ninetails

  • Fox Spirit Tail XP gain on a successful seduce and soul devouring is multiplied by a factor of three.
  • It now takes 10 years (previously 20) to gain enough passive XP for a new tail, with optional game rule for 5, 10 or 20 years.

Story Cycles

With CK3 1.19, select story cycles now have a visualisation component in the Situations tab.

  • Visualisation for Aspirant and Fox Spirits
  • Succubus story cycle will also additionally display Miracle Births and Cambions, just in case some of them are not in your court and/or not registered as your child.

Culture

  • Added a new cultural tradition: Pleasure Paradises (as well as a Japanese equivalent, Ephemeral Paradises) - works effectively as a slightly stronger Gardeners/Ephemeral Grace and unlocking construction of the fourth tier Brothel duchy building
    • There's also Succubus Primacy, but you're not supposed to get that. No, no. Get Succubus Lords instead.
  • Added a Lilim culture, representing antediluvean succubus culture. No character starts with this culture, and it also starts with no technology. Comes with its own heritage, language and name list.
  • Succubus rulers in cultures with the Succubus Lords cultural tradition may now choose to not have the Carnal Tributary law by default.

Buildings

  • Brothel duchy capital building now gains additional income if faith has:
    • Carnal Exaltation/Carnal Mysticism (Carnalitas Dei/Detenetized)
    • Male/Female Adultery Accepted (Vanilla)
    • Clergy Prostitution (Adroit's Divine Prostitution)
  • Reduce gold cost for Dar al-Izz by one third
  • Hanging Gardens great project now has a +10% Renown

Abilities

  • Succubus Breastfeeding now costs 20 Sexual Power, but now able to randomly cure a physical disability trait (except Giant).
  • Moved Infirm to Regenerate ability, as well as allowing Regenerate to get rid of other elderly traits introduced in 1.19
  • You may now choose specifically to not corrupt one person ever again as a futanari succubus, instead of having to reject ever doing it at all.

Religion and Pantheons

  • Added two new faiths:
    • Himedo: A Shinto splinter that venerates the female kami and the proclaimed sacred divine bonds between them, originating from the story of Amaterasu and the cave, and Ame-no-Uzume's sensual (allegedly naked) dance that caused such a commotion that it lured Amaterasu out.
    • Siddiqa: Essentially a Sunni equivalent to the Khadimists, Siddiqs believe that it was the Prophet's wife Aisha who was the one blessed with the knowledge by Lilit instead, and cryptically hid it through the hadiths.
  • Proclaim Divinity of Self will now remain available on creation of a new faith if your previous faith also has access to it.
  • Added a bonus to Japanese pantheon synergy bonus.
  • Added Pagan Arabic pantheon.
  • New icon for Eosphoros
  • Included Himedo holy sites into Lilithist holy sites requirements

Other

  • Added a new legacy track, Lustborn Divinity
  • Rebalanced gold expenditure in some travel events to cap at some point.
  • House Aspiration levels that grants Influence on sex will no longer have the influence-granting effect double-fire.
  • Asena will automatically become head of the Ashina house on gaining a Kingdom-tier title in the 867 start date.
  • Gisele can now use the Proseltyse to the Masses self-interaction if choosing the aspiration to spread Christianity. This self-interaction is also 1/3 cheaper.
  • Gisele's Proseltyse aspiration now requires 30% more Catholic counties, instead of 40%
  • Make Gisele a year older to lessen the waiting around, as well as giving her slight stat boosts.
  • Gisele now keeps her nun robes. That physician robes looks fucking stupid, I'm sorry.
  • Refactored Aspirant checking logic. Aspirant will now also show on the new story cycle visualisation.
  • Hopefully significantly reduced errors regarding missing traits
  • Slightly reduce passive transformation rates

It's not something that was meant to be in the update.

 

I'll be actually removing it in an update soon. Not sure how I ended up committing it into the Git repo.

Update 0.18.5.1

Minor update, mostly for cleanup and placeholder localisation for other languages. Changelog:

  • Added adopting Arabic Pagan pantheon
  • Added English placeholder localization for 0.18.5 content for other languages
  • Fixed errant trigger that prevents using Regenerate to cure Clouded Eyes
  • Reverted some localization goofs
  • Reverted some on_action changes that intefered with Seduce scheme usage as a revealed succubus.
  • Removed the unusued Aberrance decision
