Curse of Life - Alternate Pregnancy Mod

I think an interesting way to get pregnant with dragon eggs would be after absorbing a dragon soul or word of power. You are taking a little dragon into yourself after all :D

Hey, do the eggs have collisions (or at least collision simulation)? By that I mean during the birthing animations does the vagina expand to accommodate the eggs being birthed, or do they just clip through?

They just show up in your inventory after a brief message in the upper left corner.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! (Meant to release this yesterday.)

I released a new version that includes some alternate methods of getting curses and blessings. The new version most likely will require a new save because it includes a player reference hook for looking for the various egg pickups.

Enjoy!

For mid-game, if just upgrading in place doesn't work, try disabling the mod in MCM (very very important step because it stops the script) and saving. (Make another backup save too just in case the next step doesn't work.) Exit Skyrim, uninstall the mod, reload Skyrim (if your save is corrupted, exit Skyrim and reinstall previous or newer version of the mod and use your backup save, accept defeat and needing a new game for all features) and save with it turned off.  Then exit Skyrim and install the new version.  That should kickstart the quest again with the new alias.

If that doesn't work or sounds scary (honestly uninstalling any mod should be scary lol), the new items will still trigger on egg thresholds so the only thing you'll be missing from the new version is the ability for it to work on egg pickups.

Also, this is really only an issue for this version because of the new alias.  Versions past this should update in place very easy with no issue generally unless I mention otherwise.

I'd like to see an icon for this mod with 'iWant Widgets' 'SLWidgets'. I love to see a womb/belly icon with progressively more eggs inside it.

Saaame!  I actually tried contacting the author of SLWidgets but I never heard anything back.  I'll probably try to make an addon option for iWant eventually.

Oh!  I totally forgot about another feature I added because it's technically unfinished, but if you're cursed and absorb a dragon soul, you can get the dragon curse or amplify your current one.  Eventually that will work without having to be already cursed (or blessed and holding one of the new icons) by something first.

I had this requested a few times and it was a fairly easy request so...

New version up that adds a new menu option to remove the creatures requirement for SexLab.  Basically all sex acts can trigger a random curse.  If it's sex with the particular creatures and you have creature integration, the curse will be from that creature regardless of the setting.

I just added actual eggs in the newest release.  I tried hard to get them positioned correctly to actually have collision, but unfortunately even with manually adjusting the physics types, I couldn't get the eggs to actually show vaginal collision.  I'm thinking I might have to manually manipulate the body to simulate it, but that's beyond my abilities at the moment.

Could you possible make a patch for OVIMovement ? I'd prefer to use your mod over Egg Factory

Sure, I can take a crack at it.

Update:  I have a patch working and my side enabled in the newest version, but I'm waiting to hear from the other mod author before continuing.  I'm hoping to get it officially supported instead of releasing the patch file.   For now though, the patch file can be downloaded on the Oviposition support thread.

Thank you for accepting my request! I have another one. Could you add support for Pregnant Normal Map swapping like in SGO4IF's?

Ahhh, probably not.  That one is a bit above my pay grade.  It's a bit of a pain the butt just to get working for testing.  I'll throw that request on the "Maybe someday." pile

Thank you for the lovely mod! Looking forward to playing with it once I manage to assemble my modlist.

Blogging aside, here is an updated OAR config for the new version of PAIA Expansion released a while back. Recent updates added new folders. It's not extensively tested, but it seemed to work.

Curse of Life - PAIA Expanded update.zip 19.61 kB · 1 download

I appreciate the heads up on that!  Thank you

Edit: I added this to the download files.

This looks very interesting, any chance of seeing other creatures added like ash hoppers, slaughterfish, etc?  It would be super cool if Daedra were incorporated too

I will definitely be expanding it in the future once I get the current content polished up.

@semzyeekeek Since Baka is relatively active, you might consider passing those OAR files to them. If @Fairwyn isn't against some soft advertising of Curse of Life on their Nexus page.

Unless of course the patches are better suited as part of COL.
