Traianus Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 This seems to be a neat mod and I am not sure what the intended behavior is, but I wanted to report what I would consider an oddity. Â I've gotten "blessed" by a shrine of Talos for about 18 hours. SLIF is reading .201186 for "Pregnancy Belly", the MCM for your Mod is reading 2.0011862 for "Size in Womb" and 2.008846 for "Total Egg Size". I guess my question is, is there a decimal off somewhere in the SLIF portion of it, or is this how it is intended?
Fairwyn Posted August 4, 2024 Author Posted August 4, 2024 Thanks! That is indeed intended. So, the values in the mod MCM are size based on the egg size and speed per day. In order to translate those into values for actual morphs, they get divided by 10 currently. In the future, other morphs may have different divisors. Â
xtro334 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 I do not seem to be able to get CBBE 3BA/BHUNP Oviposition resources to work. Can one only use the 3BA base body and not [ygNord]3BA? Â Â
Fairwyn Posted August 5, 2024 Author Posted August 5, 2024 It was working great for me with CBBE 3BA, but I haven't tried it with other things. All I did was implement the race menu sliders, so if it's an issue with other bodies I would check with that mod's support. Have you been able to get it to work with other mods?
Etherwind Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Definitely interested to see how this mod shapes up. Can never have too many egg mods. Â Can I suggest possible support for the P.A.I.A animations or Baka's expansion of it?
MoBai636 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 i always use hentai pregnancy ,can this mod compatible with my pregnancy mod ?

I can also get this mod to work without the CBBE 3BA/BHUNP Oviposition resources. I checked the base 3BA body and the [ygNord]3BA body in bodyslide, and it was only the base 3BA body that had sliders for Oviposition.  Guess I could try to change body that I use when I have time.  Edit: Quickly changed the 3BA Body and it now works. Fill her up did normal fill up and Curse of Life did the Oviposition expansion. 🙂  Now what I would love to see is to combine this with fertility mods so that when having sex with spiders and charus this mod is used instead and player goes into recovery stage while eggs are growing. 😜 Edited August 5, 2024 by xtro334
xtro334 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 (edited) Tested out a bit more and noticed a problem with clothing. The Oviposition sliders only exists on 3BA body, not on clothing, so no morph when using clothing. I assume it would be better to use normal pregnancy slider for most clothing. But when using clothing that follow the body close like bodysuits or clothing that have a unclothed belly it would be nice to have Oviposition sliders on them. Simple solution I guess would be to have Oviposition sliders only to be used when not having armor that use nude body, and use normal pregnancy otherwise.  shirt with slot 46:   Shirt with normal body slot:   It is moment like this I wished I know how to do these things myself. 😜 Edited August 5, 2024 by xtro334 adding pictures

FYI this isn't accurate, at least in Skyrim SE/AE's RaceMenu. RaceMenu takes care of all slider/morph modifications and either multiplies, averages, adds, or only applies maximum depending on skee.ini setting. Other games like Fallout 4 and Starfield can only apply a single morph at a time (basically maximum), but Skyrim's RaceMenu can natively handle multiple mods affecting the same morphs/sliders at the same time. The only real utility that SLIF has in 2024 is customizing how much certain morphs/sliders change (via percentages, which anyone using 3BA/BHUNP should be using with SLIF anyways with the Tullius config) and seeing how much various mods are actually affecting said morphs, since there is no display for that inside RaceMenu. Â Some mod authors use SLIF exclusively for some functionality due to its script hooks. Examples include Devious Training and Being a Cow (Alternate Version), there are probably others. I'm not a scripter, but I'd be willing to bet this practice is deprecated and unnecessary. I suspect most mods utilizing this functionality are attempting to maintain backwards compatibility with LE. Â TL;DR: SLIF is not needed in SE/AE (dunno about LE, but nobody should be using LE in 2024 anyways lol) to modify morphs via several different mods because RaceMenu natively handles that. SLIF originally came about before this functionality was added to RaceMenu... like 6 years ago. Edited August 5, 2024 by MysticDaedra
xtro334 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 (edited) I noticed another thing, which is that there always is a bit of Oviposition morph, even when not under a curse/blessing. Tried to see if it was possible to set all Oviposition sliders to 0, but then it did not work any more.  Should it not be possible to have them at zero in base and add to those values as curse/blessing progresses?  It might just be me that is damaged by my work as QA-tester, the base morph is small, but when I see it because of the light angle I want to get it fixed. 😜  Edited August 5, 2024 by xtro334

I really appreciate the info! 1

I really appreciate the info! Yeah, it's fantastic for customizing the strength of different morphs, compatibility with older NIOverride mods, and mods that require it for script hooks. For the original use of combining multiple mods affecting the same sliders: not needed anymore!  BTW, is it safe to update mid-save on this mod?

MysticDaedra Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 (edited) One more question, I see the SLSF patch has disappeared from the downloads. Has this been integrated into the main download? Â NVM I see that it has, perfect. Thanks! Â EDIT: Just because I didn't want to keep spamming the thread... I assume you'll be adding in MCM tooltips at some point? Feels a bit naked without them. Obviously still alpha, no worries! Edited August 6, 2024 by MysticDaedra

MysticDaedra Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Just realized what you mean about balance... holy cow, the blessed eggs are going for 1k and a simple potion with almost no perks in alchemy is work over 6k lmao.

Sweet, thank you. Baka's version is on Nexus, right here.  Reminds me, I forgot to mention it earlier, but there's also labor animations you could look into here. They're by Gunslicer and the author of this OAR pack hasn't been able to get in contact with them to ask if it's okay to use the animations, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. JJ_NightOwl Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Loving what you doing with this mod! You sure work quite quickly and efficiently with your updates that's awesome, I'll be waiting to see the creatures integration part, being hit and getting pregnant is too unimmersive for my hornynes lmao, my char needs to be defeated and breed to be impregnated, but don't get me wrong, I'm still playing the mod the way it is currently and i enjoy it too, your work is awesome, thanks!
