Tötest du Vyrthur immer noch als Vampir? of course - the guy actually wants to kill Serana - that's why he forged a scroll - none of the keepers of these scrolls (see e.g. the moth priests in "Oblivion") ever came up with the idea that a "mortal" could manipulate/forge something like that it's a crazy plot - to attract a "Daughter of Coldharbour" as a simple vampire - because "Vyrthur" is NOT a vampire lord! that's why at some point you can't really take this whole "Dawnwatch" plot seriously - no matter which side you're on Why should I, as a vampire lord or "Daughter of Coldharbour", take over this garbage dump of a castle after the death of Prince Harkon? --- The Falmer steal their human subjects - some of them serve as food for their "pets" ... anyone who resists is killed immediately - others are broken by torture -> this is where some of the mods from this side come in! Thanks to mods, you as a player can break out of the simple vanilla plot P.S. Play the SE version and write my own mind cinema as a history blog 1

I call it putting the dead back in the ground😜 Anyway. As for odd things the absolute disregard for people in high positions comes to mind. Guards of yarls just let you walk in during times of war no less. No weapons check and no appointment needed. These are the most useless guards ever. On the subject of people in high positions I’m the leader of all guilds so why am I still doing grunt work? I should be doing paperwork instead. Doesn’t sound much fun though. 1

Part-time jobs everywhere? It would make much more sense to be able to join as many guilds as you like, but become the leader of only one guild. 1

Some of those positions should have you immediately jailed and scheduled for the Headsman's Axe as we saw when first entering Solitude. He just opened a Gate while the player is leader of the thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood. Everybody hates or mistrusts the College of Winterhold too. Then you have Azura's Star, the Mace of Molag Baal, the Skull of Corruption Staff from Dawnstar, Sanguine's Rose which aligns one with Daedra as well as Mehrune's Razor. Point is all these items should have you jailed if not executed. Edited June 12, 2024 by Raven 54

Another follower to get in the way? No thank you🙄 You did get one thing right though. Daedric Artifacts are useless compared to what you the player can make. 1
Emily Nutsville Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 You know what i find weird about Skyrim? it's about how it drags me into Tamriel every once in a while without completing the game..new save everytime cause you know, new mod load order.. 1

I think it's odd that none of the elves have Elven Arrows! I have killed lots of them trotting around behind the Thalmor Overlords and they never have them, Elven Armor sometimes with Elven daggers, axes but never a complete Elven equipment set. The places I find Elven Arrows are mostly in Bandit Camps, or on Roaming Bandits. I find that Odd. Edit; I forgot to post my Version...Doh Skyrim SE v 1.5.97 P.S. to the Moderators, if this topic has already been posted please alert me and remove it. Thanks That during your adventures you will daringly go into many inaccessible places, untouched by mortal hands for hundreds if not thousands of years and there amongst the treasures you were seeking you'll check a container and find a fresh apply ready to be eatten or turned into stew... 2
Raven 54 Posted June 13, 2024 Author Posted June 13, 2024 I find it odd that all the NPC's are either really old and wrinkled or young virile & smooth in the case of Women, Muscled up for the men, there are no variants of age. It would be nice if we had Variants of body types but that is an Engine issue I would guess. 1

Fallout 4 had more body variety so it was more an issue having to do with the simplistic weight slider as well as a lack of a larger amount of different skin texture sets for various life phases. 1
FauxFurry Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Playing through with the Xelzaz follower mod is a good way to see how many odd things that the Dragonborn does either simply because the plot calls for it or is a non-intuitive choice which exists for the sake of granting greater player agency including murdering a mean but otherwise law abiding old lady for the sake of a runaway orphan or joining the Imperial Legion then slaughtering scores of Stormcloaks in the way of one's objective of obtaining the Jagged Crown for the glory of the Emperor only to turn cloak at the last moment by taking the crown to Ulfric. 1
Raven 54 Posted June 18, 2024 Author Posted June 18, 2024 I find it odd that every NPC who you have befriended, if/when they die there is always a 400 septim inheritance from the Jarl of that hold...do they all only have that much/that little coin?? Odd, very Odd Bethesda didn't think of that!

Darkpig Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Fires and torches and candles oh my! Caves with bears always have a lit campfire because apparently Skyrim is so cold bears learned how to throw logs on a fire to keep it from burning out. Also I've never once seen a draugr light a torch or candle much less anyone else in the crypt. Oh and apparently there are light sources in areas without sunlight with neither fire nor magelight spell in sight. How odd. 2
Raven 54 Posted June 19, 2024 Author Posted June 19, 2024 As A Craftsmen myself (I ran a smithy for quite a few years before selling out) I find it Odd that the player is allowed to use any tool/workbench in Skyrim. If an unknown came in my shop they would play hell using any of my tools without some prior training. I tried to teach a friend to shape and bend Hot metal, we worked for a week and all she managed was to ruin a few tools, nothing that couldn't be repaired but you get the point. What skilled craft shop would allow one to just "use" their tools? I think that is odd.
Miauzi Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Vor 2 Stunden sagte Alessia Wellington: Die gesamte Wirtschaft von Skyrim ist seltsam. Games by Bugdesta are not economic simulations - they are not RPGs in principle - but this group fails here even in basic things In Morrowind you could loot high-quality armor or even Daedric weapons - but selling them was not possible at all ... for example, a Daedric short sword had a base value of 10,000 gold pieces - but the normal trader never had more than 1,500 gold ... except for the "Crawler" (a demon) - he had 5,000 and buying/selling ALWAYS took place at the base value (i.e. without the influence of the trading skill) But since the most expensive weapon was a Daedric 2-handed long sword with 120,000 gold - it was difficult to sell even with the "Rich Crawler" mod ... the waiting time until the gold supply was replenished was probably 24 or 48 hours And don't come to me now with the mysterious mud crab - which a trader with 10,000 gold reserves are supposed to be there - despite knowing the map position, I never found it At least you can earn the money for a house in a city in a reasonable amount of time by chopping firewood - sawmill owners seem to be rich craftsmen... and trainers at master level should actually own entire city districts
Well - at least the introductory quest (e.g. in Riverwood) goes like this - as if a traveling blacksmith introduces himself to a master - by making something simple in front of the master's eyes. I am an engineer - but I got a pretty good foundation in craftsmanship when I was at school - it was part of our school system here in "East Germany". And later I was the technical director of a craft company that planned and built heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems ... so I can fully understand your concerns. That's why I dedicated the first chapter of a blog story to this topic and created my own version of this "Hey - can I use your forge?" ... oh yes - I still find the "speech" of the orc blacksmith in Markath to her apprentice (Takitus?) very amusing attention "roll-play" -> since Alvor, as my master, gives me a letter of recommendation - I can of course work for other blacksmiths too 1
Raven 54 Posted June 21, 2024 Author Posted June 21, 2024 Animals running up the same path you do slide you off or stop your forward movement, I think that is odd.
