Would Player Voice frequency work with this? By that, I mean modify the voice for other character archetypes.*

* I play several not Nora's here and there.

Not really how it would be said.

Yeah... I'm generating the lines based on the subtitles but english is not the native language of some authors so they contains typos... I fix some too obvious but let pass others hopping you'll understand it anyway 🙂

 

I'll check and regenerate that line though.

Great point. If the original is essentially abandoned (as it appears to be) then the maintenance burden should be minimal as there won't be future changes in it you need to adapt the patch for.

They do work together, yes. Voice frequency changes are independent of the audio files. As to whether the result will sound good, that depends on your ear I suppose.

The mod for the frequency of the voice eventually broke down and the voice became lower and lower, until you set the right tone in the mcm again.this problem mainly occurs when stealing the rse CSA, periodically occurs between scenes. Do you use voice frequency changes? Have you ever had such problems?

I used it for years, but only with a very slight adjustment. Uninstalled it after using this voice pack for a bit, because I wanted to take a closer listen to how the recordings were intended to sound.

 

I haven't noticed voice frequency slowing down over the course of a playthrough, but also I stopped using RSE II: CSA a year or two back in favor of newer or better-maintained mods.

Over the past two years, since I started collecting mods for adults to create atmospheric gameplay, I have studied all possible mods on LL. You write that you use other more modern mods... Much thanks. Yep, I completely understand that English is a second language to many modders here. 99.9999% of the time I just give it a pass but once I caught it I couldn't unhear it.

For combat surrender I use Violate. As for replacing abductions, there's Raider Pet (raider specific, also fairly old/abandoned and I haven't used it for a while either). I'm working super mutant abductions into a future update for my Milking Human Kindness mod, but that part isn't done yet. TSEX-Hardship has raiders and gunners covered pretty well in other ways, making them pseudo-rapists and financial opportunists.

I have an issue with latest version.
- when I activate npc by pressing E, instead of normal dialogue, I have "when you became so beautiful *hic" line from M.C.G., after that aaf scene is called.
I can't justtalk with anyone. :) 

disabling MagnoCumGaudio-voice.esp brings dialogues back. 
I haven't such issues with previous version.

That is wierd... I'll investigate. In the mean time, you can use the previous esp if you still have it.

I just tested on my test world (a clear save from the exit of vault 111) :

  • launching the dialogs with the "Main MCG Hotkey" configured in MCM and it's working fine
  • And talking without it works also fine in the center of diamond city

 

What NPC is causing you trouble ?

Is the working ESP the ESL flagged one ? (You may need a clear save but I don't see why...)

 

Edit: Oh and are you using the 2.3.3 version ?

I think it was newest 2.3.3 version. Cant check it right now

I'm not launching dialogues by MCG key, it happens on normal E activation. And it happen with every npc. Tested in dc and gn. Piper receives same line. 

in the evening i will try to load save from before installing any version of voice mod and get back with outcome :)

any fix for the MCG voices? im getting the problem too when i press E to talk to people it calls an AAF scene..

After a bit of testing it seems to only happen if you have NPC initialize scenes turned on

Thanks for the precision, the line is in this quest indeed... I'll debug this evening and post a new version ASAP.

 

For a quick and dirty fix you can use the previous ESP (v2.3.1) <= No need anymore I published a clean fix.

 

 

Edit. Okay, I found the issue (I removed the wrong condition) I'll fix it in... let say 2 to 3 hours :) (I've got to eat)

Here it is : A new version (2.3.4) that fixes MCG Initiative scenes.

I've not been able to voice the NPC in those scenes, it may be a script related issue since it triggers a lot of papyrus errors out of the box...

For your info, I'm onto boston devious helper voices but also on side projects too so it takes time 😊
