Done! Adds 14 Npcs in 5 different jails. 4 in Windhelm Bloodworks, 3 in Riften, 3 exclusively elfs in The Chill, 2 in Whiterun and 2 in Solitude. All can be recruited as followers.

Female human and elf races edited with sculpt mode in Racemenu, then applied with Nifmerge and Gimp. Kept their backup nifs just in case though.

Some of them have spells like muffle, others oakflesh, other lessers sparks or frost or fire spells.

Requires Skykids ofc.

Feel free to re-upload or include in your mod.

Original Link removed, you can get it at Skykids Nexus page:

So I've run into another issue. When I go to run the patcher for SK armor swapper, it completely neglects to load the x117 file (it's not even in the list of active mods). I've got the x117 armor set active and the items do indeed appear in game, and on top of that I have the .esp set to load after SK Child Armor Swapper.esp, the problem is that the patcher doesn't even see it. No record of the x117 armor file in the Get Active Modlist.txt file. Any ideas as to what I can do to remedy this?

EDIT:

Nevermind, I realized the fact that my issue was being caused /because/ it was loading after the armor swapper. Resolved by setting it to load before in BOSS.

I don't know if this is going to help anyone or not who use Mod Organizer. I kept having an issue, where the patcher would tell me I was missing an .esm. It seemed to vary.

I unchecked the monli and drow in the load order, and voila. All patched and ran perfect. In case for any reason anyone has this issue. Try that and see if it works.

ALSO if it doesn't, the only way I know this worked is to try and troubleshoot things on my end by reading ALL of the directions. It's rather simple to figure out what is wrong that way.

Just  took me, maybe 5-6 minutes of thinking to find out a way to make it work for me, without asking the original modder, THE SAME QUESTION EVERY TIME!!!!!!

CHEERS!

I have a question for En_Hawk

I have started playing Skyrim again (a bit of a burn out with Dragon Age Inquisition) with a brand new vampire character. But i find his face to be a bit too angular. Do you still plan on releasing a patch for rounder cheeks?

Kind regards

Yeah I do, I just forgot about it...

I'll have to remember to get around to making that patch...

I see. Thank you kindly for your quick reply. I could ask for nothing more.

Cheers.

Oh, and i forgot to mention this in my previous post.

Your mod is one  of the most stable mods i had the pleasure of downloading and your instructions to install it are completely fool-proof. I succesfully installed it after the first try and haven't had any problems since. As an added bonus i now know how to change BOSS's userlist so that it recognizes more obscure mods. So again, many thanks!

Cheers

Minor issues found.

Nomenclature is odd, sure puts all the children together but seperates them from their parents.

Redguard is skipped by the patcher and the bodies lists.  The bodies have not been added to the body armor.

So I left Skyrim for awhile and came back to it. Basically after screwing around getting all my mods to work again, the game has finally stopped crashing and everything is fine. Except the bow and quiver seem to have scaled up instead of down, so instead of being a kids size, it's huge even compared to regular characters. I'm not really sure what the heck happened, anyone care to help?

Its probably something hokey with your game. With the way the skeletons are set up the weapons should actually be smaller than on adults both when holstered and held in hand, and that's on top of the actor scale being 20% smaller than the adults. You sure you don't have some model replacement installed? Have you tried playing a vanilla adult race on this same install and giving yourself a bow to check?

edit: god damn do I love when people delete their posts...

This might sound dumb, but where are you running the patcher from? The patcher should be installed in Data\SkyProc Patchers\SKArmorPatcher\

Cause if it's generating a .esp in your C directory instead of your Data directory, it sounds like you might be running the patcher from the wrong location. Or it is reading from/writing to the wrong location.

When it reaches 100% importing, just give it a few minutes. Go get a coffee or something, cause it might seem like it stalled, but it is still patching. It will auto close itself when it is done, so don't close it out manually. That might be the issue there as well if you're not letting it finish patching.

Have you made sure the patcher is at the bottom of your load order?

He's using BOSS, that's a LOOT issue.

This mod looks amazing, though I have been struggling for a few days to get the armor patcher to work. I've tried dozens of different potential solutions, and searched this forum for similar problems, but nothing I found helped. Here's what I know:

Upon starting the patcher (via right click, run with java platform se binary) it finds and runs BOSS successfully, then informs me that the patcher needs skykids esm to be installed and active. The progress bar says 100% done importing but does not appear to import anything before saying so. When I hit patch, it generates a 0kb SK Child Armor Swapper esp file in the main drive directory, (C://) instead of in C://programfiles(x86)/steam/...skyrim/data/ . Asking it to generate a debug log does not appear to produce one.

Skykids esm is installed (used NMM), and is active both before and after running the patcher.

My version of java is current: Java SE Runtime Environment 8u25.

The BOSS rules from the original post are in the userlist, and function properly; Skykids esm is loaded near the top.

I am not using many mods. I don't have any armor mods to patch or anything that is likely to cause problems, and deactivating all other mods yields no change.

Sorry to be a bother, and thanks in advance for any help.

Hm. The only thing I can think of is that running it in the manner you say may be passing incorrect arguments to java upon launch, resulting in the issues you are having. Try reinstalling the latest JRE(linked in OP under required mods/etc) and letting it fix the file association, so that you don't have to manually select 'run with java.' To the best of my knowledge, the default configuration for running executable java programs passes in a whole bunch of extra crap as arguments, beyond just the path to the jar file(which setting it up as a 'run as' program would not include). Sadly I don't know them off the top of my head, or I could just list them off for you so you could dump them into a shortcut or batch file, etc.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest JRE, then re-running the patcher by double clicking on the jar.

So i'm having an odd bug i can't figure out, whenever i play a chile character and they become encumbered, they refuse to walk while in 3rd person, Works just fine in 1st person though, and sometimes if i hold w in long enough the character will start walking, this only happens when playing a skykid character, normal characters aren't affected at all, anyone had that issue and know how to resolve it?

I'm not sure if this is what's causing it for you but it happens to my characters while using Realistic Needs and Diseases when I get tired. The debuff drops my stamina down and I become encumbered and can't move. Maybe it's something like that for you.

I think there may be an issue with a couple of the kids in the vanilla child replacer for the base game, or a conflict of some kind I haven't tracked down yet.

When I had that mod active I could not access the exterior of Morthal during the daytime hours or certain interior cells of Dragons Reach in Whiterun. Every time I tried I would CTD with nothing in my logs to indicate what the problem was. A binary search of my mods led me to the vanilla replacer, and deactivating the file then trying those cells again revealed that there were indeed children contained within. Most of the other vanilla children were working as intended and I had no trouble accessing other areas with children present.

I think it's the kids themselves and not the cell causing the CTD, as the cell that crashes changes through out the day as the kids go through their scripted routine: Morthal exterior is perfectly fine late at night, and the Dragons Reach throne room is accessible when Balgruuf's kids are in the Jarl's quarters, and the Jarl's quarters (via coc) is accessible when the kids are in the throne room. I tried reinstalling, adjusting my load order, and repatching the armor without success.

Oh, for anyone else who is using Johann's Child Enemy NPC mod, are you also getting this issue for enemies of "color" (for example, orcish green, Redguard brown, etc.) where the face color is always "white" despite the body color being otherwise?  Obviously, you cannot tell this glitch on a Nord enemy NPC as their skin color is "white", anyway.

I am also getting this issue.

Well, based on what I learned talking with Johann, apparently, something called a "facegen" is missing.  I'm not sure what that is, but if you do, that would be a good place to start looking.

Posted

That would depend on how Johann did it. Basically after you finish creating a character in the CK you press F4 to export its facegen data to the mesh and texture folders. If the characters he created were unique ( as in his own creations, and not giving Lydia some hair ) a folder would be created with the esp name and filled with the output. If they're not unique then it would all be dumped in the Skyrim folder.

What you want to do is open the Zip file and see if the data is there, if it is then I'd say there is something else going on, mainly because if the data isn't there you get black faces.
