Twycross448 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Â If you have Clothing and Clutter fixes installed, that would be the problem with Sophie. Â Well, I did have it installed. I removed it now, went through all the stuff again (waiting 30 days in Breezehome, safing, cleaning, loading, waiting etc.) but it still does not work. But thanks for the tip. Â Further info on this: Â I have used the "inv" console command on her, and quite frankly, the output puzzles me... Â Here is the entire output: inv Sofie (05004031) has 5 items: 143 - Flower Basket (000D955A) 1 - Child's Clothes (0703C819) (100,100.00%) Â ---> BAD EDITOR ID (0703C816) Â ---> BAD EDITOR ID (BE00178E) 1 - Shoes (0703C81A) (100,100.00%) Â ---> BAD EDITOR ID (0703C818) Â ---> BAD EDITOR ID (BE003322) 6 - Septim (0000000F) The problems here are twofold. Â 1. she has been assigned blacksmith clothing in the CK (in both plugins that have an entry for her - Hearthfire.esm and the NPC Replacer .esp), not child clothing, so where the hell does the game pull this from? Â 2. none of the ReferenceIDs for the Shoes and Child's Clothing are correct... the 7th item to load in my load order (items beginning with 07) is Dragonborn.esm, the BE one is the last item to load, namely the SK Child Armor Swapper.esp (which at least would make a sliver of sense, but of course I constantly keep it up to date by rerunning the patcher whenever I change anything at all) Â I am at a wits end here, frankly. Anybody else got another idea? Maybe some of Sofies scripts that deal with her selling flowers and thus refill her inventory after a certain time? Â Â P.S.: I got a similar problem with Serana, though not as notable as this one. In the CK, she is set to have a weight of 100, but in game she uses weight 20.... for whatever reason. I really wonder where the game keeps pulling these values from.
Guest luthienanarion Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Â Â I have used the "inv" console command on her, and quite frankly, the output puzzles me... They show as "BAD EDITOR ID" because they don't have real names and the game doesn't load EditorID data. The fact that they show up in the console output is simply stupidity on the part of Bethesda, and they are not errors at all. Similarly, the console also shows the health of ARMO forms (the "100" and "100%" values) , even though such data isn't used at all in Skyrim. Â If Dragonborn is at index 07 in your load order, that output only signifies that the "Child's Clothes" item is from the Dragonborn ESM and that it has two armatures: one from the Dragonborn ESM, and one from another plugin loaded at index BE (the armor patch ESP). The same goes for the "Shoes" item. Â Â If an NPC tends to wear its default clothing instead of items you gave them in the CK, they probably have one or more "outfits" defined. Delete those, and the NPC should stop questioning your fashion sense. You'll likely have to remove any existing copies of those items in their inventory if you've already encountered that NPC in a save.
ChipyChops Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Just because you've removed a mod doesn't mean any script data was removed, you could try http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/? to clean your saved game file.
Twycross448 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Just because you've removed a mod doesn't mean any script data was removed, you could try http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/? to clean your saved game file.  I know. And cleaning the saves is part of the routine, of course.   @all  It seems fixed now. I removed a couple of other mods (Amazing Follower Tweaks and some custom CBBE armours) and now all of the sudden, it works. o_O?  My first thought was "maybe I had too many esp's/esm's...", but on the other hand that could not be, since all the other kids worked fine (and I had only 193 plugins installed, now without the armours and AFT, I have 186).  So, for lack of a better explanation, I simply suspect that I had a combination of mods the game was simply allergic to for reasons unknown.  Thank you all for your input and help on this one.
Spyder Arachnid Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I think I'm going to hold off on that child replacer for now, cause of one small thing that is bugging me lol. Â The Breton Child race has this "odd" shaped chin/jaw line. Compared to the other races who have these smooth chin/jaw lines, the Breton Child race has this weird jutting chiseled jawline that is really hard to work with. It sticks out really bad. Â Figured when you are doing this new update, you could take a look at that as well. Maybe work on it, or copy the head mesh from another race to use instead (like the Nord one or something). It just looks off is all compared to the other races as it just juts out so much and is so sharp, yet sunken on the back of the jaw at the same time. Just odd is all. Â Or I'm just being picky is all lol. But thought I'd mention it at least.
panthercom Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Â When I was going through the races, the Breton and Nord default heads appeared to be identical except for the skin color. The default heads are harder to make youthful looking compared to COTW, as an example, lots of narrow slitted eyes, hard-edged noses and lean faces, I was despairing of ever making a character to my liking until I got a hold of the extra sliders. There doesn't seem to be a single slider that gives more childlike fat cheeks. The vertex editor is a bit scary; I always feel one mouse click away from creating an abomination My character is a Breton. Â
johann7124 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 There is only one head mesh for males and one for females. Â It has to be in the tri settings.
Spyder Arachnid Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Well here's some examples so you can see what I mean. Â Here's the Nord Child. Smooth and looks fine. Note, nothing is altered yet. This is just the basic Nord Child preset. I haven't changed any sliders yet. Â Â Â Â Â Â Now here's the Breton Child. Same as before. I haven't altered it or changed any sliders. It's just the basic preset. You can see the chin and jaw line is odd shaped and there is no way to smooth that out or fix it. Compared to the Nord Child, it is very different. Â Â Â Â Â Â I hope you see what I am talking about. They are not the same, at least, from what I can see. And moving the sliders around for the Breton doesn't help at all. It just gets worse. Â I have nothing conflicting as the ONLY mods I have installed are SKSE, SkyKids, and RaceCompatibility (and of course, Skyrim, Update, Dawnguard, Hearthfires, and Dragonborn). It makes me wonder if it is by chance an issue with the Alternate Male Body. Which is the one I use, not the default that comes with SkyKids.
Belchen Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I"ll be streaming the skykids on Twitch. It is under mature content, so, you'll want an account.  Stream url is: http://www.twitch.tv/belchenÂ
panthercom Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Â I can't the the Patcher to work on the X117 clothes either. Â Â Invisible clothes Â

No one wanted to help me pick out better facegen assets, so we got stuck with the crappy vanilla ones... I've got a few ideas in the pipe, whenever I get around to finding time for them. Still open for suggestions on these guys though. Â Â Invisible clothesFine, since everyone seems to be having issues with it, I'll go test it myself.
panthercom Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Â What is involved in picking out better facegen assets? Â Â I tried to get the X117 (opposite of hilly)pack working; I checked the folder structure and MO happily accepted it. The armor patcher still pukes if it tries to run BOSS and I have not been able to fix that. Â I will try some other suitable apparel sets as soon as I can dig them up.
en_hawk Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015  Invisible clothesFine, since everyone seems to be having issues with it, I'll go test it myself. Ok, so I go to test that package, and the first thing I see is the archive is fucked up and has a second 'data' subfolder underneath the main one. You guys have fixed this on your end before attempting to patch it, yes?
panthercom Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Â I downloaded the armor set with the texture and meshes as separate folders, so I rebuilt the folder structure to get rid of redundant subfolders, installed with mod organizer, and looked at the folders within MO afterwards to see if the file was where I thought it should be. I can post my folder structure for examination after I have access to that computer tonight. The patcher runs very quickly (when it runs); so quickly that I can't read the files that it is processing. It takes two or three tries to get the patcher to execute sometimes.
panthercom Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 This is where the mod is installed; the folders within this are the meshes, textures and esp. Meshes and textures contain two subfolders - armors and ashara   C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\FX117FlatPack\Meshes\Armor\Daywalker\FX Bard  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\FX117FlatPack\Meshes\Armor\Daywalker\FX Celine  Etc.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\FX117FlatPack\Meshes\Ashara\Prince of the Woods  These are the folders that contain the nif files; the meshes have the same folder structure  I actually have Ashara Prince of the Woods for CBBE also installed, which worked fine when enabled, and it's folder structure is:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\Ashara Princes of the Woods CBBE Conversion\Meshes\Ashara\Prince of the Woods
en_hawk Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 Alright, I'll go load it up and test it myself.
johann7124 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 After reorganizing the folder structure and repacking, I installed via NMM and then opened CK. Checked the x117 clothing and I was able to view the meshes no problem. Â Try this one instead. https://mega.co.nz/#!lFBilbjZ!Xsp1ShyMZIBAxzEex9z4CYBKKOA2engN5xEf3_0tIxU
panthercom Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Â I tried your file, Johann. The items are still invisible. Â In addition to the patcher being unable to load boss, the only way to actually see the window with the progress bar is to toggle 'force patch on exit'. Â Â The patcher works on the vanilla clothes okay, which is to say, I get the same behavior, but I can actually see the clothes. Â Â I checked some meshes on the other clothes I was trying to install, and they were all showing up in nifskope. These are the same files I used on my old install of Skykids about a year ago and they all showed up. I was using NMM instead of MO on that install, but I'll never touch that game-ruining POS again.
johann7124 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 The only one that does not show up for me is the military outfit, all others show fine. Â Let me check the path in CK again, though it did show fine last time I checked.
panthercom Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015  I've doublechecked my installation folders; there is no debug log being generated for the patcher.   My folder structures for the MO/Skyproc Patcher match those supplied by Johann in the installation original post, except that my JRE is version 1.8.0_31   The text file called BOSS location in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\Skykids\SkyProc Patchers\SKArmorPatcher\Files shows C:\Program Files (x86)\BOSS Userlist Manager\BOSS Userlist Manager.chm
panthercom Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Â Problem found with the patcher, at least. I had it last after the Skykids files instead of last after the clothing mods. It will stay at the very bottom of the load order from now on. Â Thanks for the help.
MidbossVyers Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 If I made a SkyKids armor swap version of a vanilla outfit with only the mesh, would the Armor Swap application attempt to use the vanilla texture, or do I also need to add something to the texture folder?
