Immahnoob Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 "The mod was not activated" is an error I get every time I try to install it.

Lokimaru Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I'm have a problem with my little guy, when he crouches in sneak mode his little guy ends up on his chest. Is SOS the cause? The MCM it says doesn't have a skeleton for Skykids.

The MCM it says doesn't have a skeleton for Skykids. eh, if you are trying to give skykids genitals you are probably on your own there with getting help with that >.> LoversLab has rules against mods having nudity for children in them. So no one is going to talk you through with how to get SOS to work properly with Sky Kids or any other child mod. You can read the rules yourself here. Although maybe you didn't mean that, just saying "your little guy's 'little guy'" sounded like you were talking about his penis. That said using SOS on an adult character while using SkyKids to stop npc children from looking ugly shouldn't cause any problems (at least it never has for me).

panthercom Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Could someone give me a few pointers on the correct folder structures for the JRE install and BOSS when using MOD Organizer? I can not get the SkyProc Patcher to execute successfully either through MO or from the Skykids folder in MO. I've got WIndows 7 64 bit . I can launch BOSS from MO just fine, and I can also make the SkyProc patcher 'seem' to run from MO; I get a progress bar that completes with no warnings, but my PC still has invisible attire. Running the SkyProc patcher from the MO mod folder doesn't work, because it can't find BOSS or JRE (according to the debug log). I'm using the 32 bit version of JRE, in my X86 folder. I initially had the 64 bit version, but SkyProc bitched about it. EDIT: MO gives me this error message. 21:26:07 [C] failed to parse esp file C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\mods\Skykids\SK Child Armor Swapper.esp: file incomplete Looking at the SK Child Armor Swapper esp, it shows a file size of 0 bytes? Unpacking the 7zip archive for skykids also shows o bytes for this file? EDIT AGAIN: Re-downloaded Skykids, the second download doesn't contain the armor swapper at all, unpacking the first download again showed the file missing too, looks like corrupted downloads. Any chance of just getting the Child Armor Swapper esp posted here?

Once you have skyproc running it''ll update. Once that's done you'll have the option of hitting the patch button or just closing it, same thing really. A little window will be left over, that's what's patching your files. Let It Run. Surf the net, make a sandwich, whatever, you'll know it's done when it closes on it's own. Once That's all done your all set.
en_hawk Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Basically what the other poster said. The patcher takes a long time to run, as stated in the OP. The fact that the progress bar says '100%' is due to an incredibly stupid decision on the part of the skyproc library author. As dumb as it may sound, you literally just need to let it sit there until it finishes and closes on its own. If it errors or otherwise runs into a problem, it will tell you about it as well as place info about it in its debug log. If you've found a setup where the patcher will launch and at least try to run, give that a go and let it sit for a good while and see what happens. As for sending you a copy of the patcher esp, that is impossible, as every patcher esp is custom tailored to your load order. Try that, and let me know if it works for you, otherwise we can look into other solutions.
Spyder Arachnid Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hey guys, haven't been around in awhile, but thought I would ask. Anyone have a copy of this file still? The morphs and races inis for RaceMenu. morphs.ini and races.ini for RaceMenu v3 download now work face advanced settings for boys image have fun ps sorry for my bad English Clicked the link, but it has been removed. Was thinking of getting back into Skyrim and modding again, so would really like to have these inis. Thanks.

I'll attach it here for you and anyone else having difficulties downloading it from mega.skykids_racemenu_3.zip

Mega making me out to be a liar. Thanks though. Appreciate it.
Spyder Arachnid Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 After using those files, it is nice to be able to mess with all the sliders RaceMenu has now. They make a huge difference. Just some quick faces I made messing with the new sliders. I'm in a debate with myself over redoing my child replacer to make them less anime looking, or not. The work that it will take is the part that is "eh" to me right now lol. Thanks again.
ChipyChops Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Just do a couple of kids a day Spyder, no need to do them all in one go.
panthercom Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 The first issue I had is that BOSS could not be found by the armor patcher, either in the C drive or in the X86 folder. Because of this, I didn't realize that the Skykids .esm file was installed BELOW it's dependencies of Drow and Monli races. I fixed the load order and the patcher seems to have executed; although I won't know until I open the game. It would be nice to get the BOSS issue figured out; BOSS works fine from MO when run independently. I'm guessing the SK Armor Swapper.esp gets generated after the game launches? I don't see it in any of my folders. EDIT: It's working now; I had run BOSS separately after installing Skykids, but it didn't detect my load order problem, FWIW
Spyder Arachnid Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Just do a couple of kids a day Spyder, no need to do them all in one go. Yeah, but that's my predicament basically. Just now getting back into Skyrim again, and the choice is whether I want to play Skyrim or work on this child replacer. Cause, if I decide to play, I'll go mod happy and download all my mods and get them installed and just play the game. But if I am just working on this child replacer, I only want SkyKids installed while I do it (just easier to work on). Which means, no playing till I finish it. Eh, I'll figure something out. I kind of do want to work on this again, as the old one has so many mistakes that I would like to correct. And it is definitely due for an update. I remember someone else saying they were going to make one as well, so might see how that comes out first before I start going all willy-nilly on this myself lol. But yeah, when/if I do, I'll do a set a day so I don't burn out.
panthercom Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 The extra Racemenu sliders sure are appreciated; I'm off to a good start

Twycross448 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Just some quick faces I made messing with the new sliders. I'm in a debate with myself over redoing my child replacer to make them less anime looking, or not. Believe me when I say it would be very much appreciated. Though, as ChipChops said, don't wear yourself out. @all I am using SpyderArachnids alternate NPC replacer and have that one issue that 2 of the girls, namely Babette (Vampire Kid from Dark Brotherhood) and Sofie (adoptable urchin in Windhelm that sells flowers), constantly run around in their underwear. The clothing they should have just isn't displayed for some reason. All other Kid NPCs work just fine. Thing is, I opened up the .esps in Creaion Kit and manually changed their clothing to something I know works on the kids (Blacksmith and FarmerClothes 1-4), as the other girls, like Dorthe, Britte, Liselle, Lucia, Runa etc. wear it just fine. Still, they remain in their undergarments, as somehing seems to override their inventory. Funny thing, as the .esps are near the bottom of the load order. In fact, the only things loaded after are the bashed patch and the SkyKids Armor Swapper .esp. So, in theory, there should be nothing to override the clothing they have been given in the CK. Sadly, theory and practical application once again don't seem to agree with each other. Does anybody have a clue what may cause only these 2 to not work correctly? I really don't want them running around without clothing all the time.
en_hawk Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 snipPull them up in the console and run the resurrect command on them, it should regenerate their inventory, see if that fixes it.
Twycross448 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Pull them up in the console and run the resurrect command on them, it should regenerate their inventory, see if that fixes it. Sadly, it did nothing. I did the following: 1. used resurrect on her 2. Disabled her 3. enabled her again 4. fast-travelled to Whiterun and went into Breezehome 5. saved 6. loaded 7. waited for 31 in-game days to make cells reset 8. saved 9. loaded 10. went to Windhelm and looked Still the same, she stands there in her underwear, and when I try to pickpocket her, she doesn't have any clothing on her, only her flowers, a couple of septims and some flower baskets. So somerhing seems to heavily interfere with her inventory. When I use Puppet Master to take control of her and tell her I want to decide what she should wear and then give her the blacksmith shoes and outfit, it puts it on correctly. Problem of course is that she takes it all off again once I release her. TES5Edit does not show any conflict other than the one between the replacer and the original Hearthfire incarnation of her, so no other esm/esp seem to change her, at least directly.
en_hawk Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 snipI honestly have no idea then. You're right though; something is conflicting with her, I've just got no idea what it might be. I've never run into an error like that before. Try checking her inventory with 'inv', see what she has in there...
headfullofdread Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Hey en_hawk, just wondering if you've had time to look into that clothes issue of mine? I tried opening them in outfit studio & their form was there but the texture showed a grey 'no image" ( I think that's what it was). Maybe because I don't have an appropriate bodyslide prestet? Idk, I lack exp.

If you have Clothing and Clutter fixes installed, that would be the problem with Sophie.
