Yeah, I just tested the newest version of Hormones, and I'm running into the same issue: tattoos aren't being applied when the notification messages pop up. I'm also not using YPS or the Aegis patch at the moment.

i am using yps but the tattoos are not applying for me, book does nothing to hormone levels either.

Thanks for reporting both issues.

I will double check when I have a chance.

Right now, I am working on finishing the story in Parasites first.

I am also using the potions and I can report that only the growth and metabolism potions are working the bimbo potion does not increase the hormone level. This happens in both LE and SE.

I'm also having some issues with the books. And the potions. And crafting the potions.

The book of Giggles is just a spell tome that gives me a spell to turn into a Bimbo. Nothing else. I suspect this is something to do with using an existing save without cleaning it. I'll try on a new save soon.

Creating the potions isn't working. Either I'm doing something very wrong or the recipes just don't work yet.

Spawning the potions with AddItemMenu allowed me to learn that the potions add enough to bring the relevant stat up to about 100 and the bimbo potion just triggers an immediate transformation and then sets the Bimbo hormone down to 0 after the transformation regardless of what it was before.

Finally there's something very wrong with the recipe book. I suspect one file is in the wrong place because the mod simply isn't locating an illustration.

i found out there are two books of giggles and one of them is a spell tomb the other is a book but it does nothing to the hormone values like it said to. for me the bimbo tonic isn't doing anything except give me a notification that it's doing something to my character. though the book double cursed me when i was a bimbo already after reading it post tf, yeah there are some major bugs here that need a fix i can see.

The actual book of giggles is inside Cracked Tooth Keep. Look in the orc bandit chiefs room.

There are two Books of Giggles.. only is a spell book and one a regular book. I will rename the spell book as 'Super Special Book of Giggles'.

I'm not sure what is going on with the illustration inside the book. I will double check the paths.

The potion and book effects highlighted a bug in the mod event used to apply hormonal changes. I fixed that already for the next version and tested that the hormonal levels are changed.

Will the updated version of Stories with the Book be compatible with earlier version of Hormones? I'm still running an older version, and I was wondering if updating will become a necessity at some point.

Depends how old we are talking about.

It will be compatible with the second to the last version at least.

Beyond that, I can't tell until I release it and you test it.

I figured out a simple mechanism to register NPCs as Bimbos using a form list.... starting with Nivenor in Riften.

Here is a preview of Nivenor, wearing a custom Bimbo outfit in SexLab Stories and expressing her bimbo thoughts.

She has a Book of Giggles in the basement of Bolli's house and a journal explaining how and why she became a Bimbo.

If testing goes well, you might be able to turn your next follower into a Bimbo as well.

I picked Nivenor because I have always wanted to do something with her and her husband in Stories, and her behavior seems a good fit for an 'Arm candy' type of Bimbo.

If you think of any Vanilla NPC that could benefit from Bimbo attributes without being too out there, let me know and I will consider adding them as default Bimbos as well.

The perks of Default bimbos are:

- Bimbo 'hello' comments similar to Bimbo thoughts (including random giggles)

- Treated as Bimbos by Dialogues and SD+

- Easily influenceable and turned into followers with my Puppet Master patch

Suzannah the Wicked (although, well, you know what happens to her).

Also the innkeeper's daughter in Markarth. Hroki, isn't it?

I mean, if she uses this morph.....

Nexus Hroki replacer link

There's also a mod which makes her a follower. I can't remember if it's part of this mod or not but without being  a follower she's just a pretty young innkeeper's daughter who hangs around the jeweller's stall in the marketplace whenever she's got spare time and reluctantly helps out around the inn when her parents insist on it.

Hroki is a good idea ... one thing I am thinking about is a cursed jewelry item that also boosts chances of a transformation as long as the NPC wears it.

She could be a good candidate to receive that ring or necklace.

Once you meet her, it will be easy to get her to give it to you so you can share the effect around.

Sold.

Also Camilla Valerius. We all know what she is. Leading those two men on and toying with their affections. And then being willing to marry the Dragonborn after the return of the golden claw even if she'd allegedly settled down with one of the other two men (although, in that case, the man in question becomes a creepy stalker who keeps following her around as if he's well and truly smitten).

how does one get the transgender curse and or sexchange curse as a male character without triggering it in mcm or is that the only way? sorry if this has been asked before this is the first time i have used this mod.

What are the chances of a player specific version of said jewelry? Maybe something that consistently adds to the bimbo hormone level, or has an increasing chance every day its worn to turn the PC into a bimbo, and can't be removed until a specific requirement is met? I'm always game for new ways of turning my unlucky characters into bimbos. Although, I suppose there'd have to be some reason they put it on in the first place...

Would having sex with the follower Bimbos like Nivenor also apply the curse to the player?

I like the idea of cursed jewellery, could this also be applied to the player without them knowing and slowly increase the bimbo hormone over time at each midnight?

The outfit that Sanguine gives you on your first visit, each piece could also increase the female hormone over time?

Or even the Flowering Spriggan if your a male it slowly ups the female hormone the longer you're wearing the Spriggan Armour.

For Nivenor's affliction it would be easy to suggest it was the result of a lover's gift from Haelga. Haelga would be easy to suggest too but she somehow has the brains to still run a business. Haelga constantly encouraging Svaan to lighten up and start having casual sex could hint at bimbofication (which Svana stubbornly resists).

However Nivenor's affliction could be much more fun if it was the result of Ingun Black Briar's alchemy. Ingun could have easily stumbled upon a new potion by accident and decided to try it out on someone else instead of risk taking it herself. This could also be done as a mini quest "give this potion to Nivenor and report back to me with the results".

Haelga is a reserved character in my mind because of how I am already getting her involved in the Sisterhood of Dibella and SD+.

Nivenor has her own back story in a journal found in her basement next to a Book of Giggles.

I like the idea of the influence from the Spriggan Armor. I will try to remember that when I rewrite the Spriggan curse as part of Parasites instead of SD+

I was not planning on applying the curse to the player during sex, but that reminds me I need to find an explanation about how Honey can have that link of influence on the player.

The NPC version will work just that way for the player. A little like how my Mind Control device works.

The latest version of Hormones allows you to brew tonics to increase your Growth and Metabolism hormones. You can find a book of recipes in Anise's Cabin west of Riverwood.

Outside of that, you can trigger the change in a few ways:

- find and free Honey on a small island of Lake Rumare. Sex with her will mess up your hormones and push the transformation forward.

- have sex with one of the Outcasts in the game. Look for them in Dragon's bridge and Kynesgrove, or randomly in dungeons or on the road.

- have sex with Dremoras or Falmers. Mods like Sanguine Debauchery allows you to be enslaved to Falmers and adds Sanguine as a character you can have sex with. This should work with most mods that add Dremora followers or make these races friendly for example.

Good idea. I will add her to the list :)

She is not far from Anise's cabin and could well have been visiting her for "remedies".

Good. One of the reasons that I didn't recommend Haelga is that she's already used by so many other mods (like Sisterhood of Dibella or SD+). Ingunn on the other hand is a virtually untouched npc as is Nivenor (who's so obscure I'm not sure I ever even noticed her name before). Likewise Hroki doesn't usually get much love making her a fairly safe subject for transformation as well. I'd recommend one of the barmaids in Dawnstar as well but I can't remember any of their names. Well they might not be barmaids but essentially one of the group of 2 or 3 women who gather in the Windpeek Inn to complain to the priest about having nightmares. I don't have a particular girl in mind.

Also I'd be against changing Haelga as having more than one Bimbo in any town would seem a bit excessive given how miniscule their populations are. The fact they dare to call those tiny hamlets cities is laughable (and probably an Imperial affectation as the word City doesn't sound very Nordic).

tbh the cities in skyrim can barely be called a city anyways size wise, Even oblivion's imperial city is bigger than most of the cities in skyrim.

Some places especially solitude should be like 2x bigger then they are if you go by the actual lore.

Playing through Novigrad in The Witcher 3 and Atlantis or Athens in Assassin Creed: Odyssey spoiled me to what should be a city in a game like Skyrim.

Hopefully, we will see something like that in ES 6,not just empty promises.

To be a city it has to have a cathedral otherwise it's just a town. Literally. That's how you tell the difference between a town and a city. I know that Americans have a tendency to call any town a city but over here in England we do things the old fashioned way like actually having definitions that distinguish between things like having a cathedral or not.

don't keep your hopes up i bet its going to use the same outdated engine and buggy mechanics that follow, with plenty of npcs that just walk around and not really do anything worth while. I would be SHOCKED if they completely revamped their engine into something that is not horribly outdated because they have been using the same engine since morrowind just modified each time of course.

Just as long as it's not called The Elder Scrolls 6: Microtransaction.
