i feel they treat a game getting it's own section pretty sacredly here

It's also pretty broken. People are reporting that not only does it clip with clothing but it also does not scale or adjust with the character editor. Basically if you want a nude body of any other shape other than the one that comes with the mod then you're shit out of luck. I have also heard that it causes game instability.

Just tried it. yeah its pretty restrictive, cant change the body at all only muscles. no shirts work with it and it also affects the other zoids so they look janky. some pants and shoes do work with it. I mean its not bad for a day 1 mod with no developer tools.

Oh believe me it is. Back in the day we had to fight to get The Sims 3 its own section. Loverslab was originally just Bethesda focused and expanded over the years.

That is laughable. This isn't some typical Unreal game where you could get away with charging a nude mod because no one else would bother.

No, this is a highly anticipated game where there's no doubt this game is going to receive multiple nude mods for free soon.

Some people here are seriously ungrateful. He released more than six mods on Nexus for free, and one of them is essential for mods to even work, considering the game blocks mods by default. He labeled the mod as a beta. Modding the game is not easy and requires many workarounds. Talking trash about modders who are paving the way for others is not right.

They care because they're afraid that the developer would care to shut it down and jeopardise the modding scene.

That's why there are concerns about paywalled mods in games because you'd be profiting off an IP you don't own which companies often dislike.

Modding may be a legal grey area but if they're not paywalled, there's not much incentive for corporations to go after them.

You can't seriously expect people to be grateful when the modder would rather capitalise on an unfinished nude mod instead of sharing their documentation on a game that's considered to be hard to mod. Modding scenes thrive when people share their work and findings with others freely, not limiting them in exchange for money.

If you haven't noticed, inZOI developers partnered with CurseForge, which allows paid mods.

 

Your assuming Game is crazy. He has already done more for the community than most people ever will, and he plans to release a custom engine to support meshes since he had to edit Unreal Engine’s source code to make them work. The game literally released yesterday have some patience.

Do they? Just because a game company partners up with CurseForge does not necessarily mean there'll be paid mods. Especially not NSFW mods.

The only references I've seen to CurseForge having paid mods is only in relation to ARK and even then, I don't see any store pages to these paid mods.

There's no mention to the other games on that site having paid mods and even if they do, it'd be most likely authorised by the partnered game developer/publisher themselves. If KRAFTON decided to go through with paid mods, the way how FrancisLouis independently published their lewd mod on Patreon doesn't make it not unauthorised.

FrancisLouis providing free quality of life mods for InZOI is besides the point and doesn't excuse how they're paywalling lewd mods to prey on those who can't wait which is disgusting in my opinion. I know making mods is hard, I make mods myself, but not everything has to be all about money.

Even with the challenges of making a mod, I still release all my mods for free because I want everyone to be happy and sharing my knowledge publicly would most likely lead to a stronger modding scene than if I were to restrict it all behind an arbitrary paywall. If you want to be compensated for your work, open a donation.

you have to take off all of your character's clothes in all forms.
only accessories and hats, some shoes and some things work, but it is necessary to search by test method.

theres stuff to do just only in certain areas, just walking about you dont really run into much

that pretty much was sims 4 at launch and that wasnt early access
