This thread is for discussing the game, not randomly uploading whatever mods are out there. Since InZoi is perfectly available via steam and looking to become a pretty popular game, mod uploads should go in the file page system, provided ofc that it's your mod or that you have permission.

LMAO at dudes that said this game is not the sims 4 killer.

 

In less than a week we already have nude mods. And I bet in a month or 2 we'll be sitting on a gold pile of adult mods.

nude mods and nsfw decor is the easy part

to truly know we would need someone to commit to an actual sex mod

also half the people on this site prob cant even run the game so that holds it back heavily

    (And if you say "Get a real job" then you end up with less mods/slower mods as the modders in question have less time to dedicate towards modding.  There are only 24 hours in a day, and if 8 are given to a tax-paying job, 1 is given to a commute and 8 are to sleep, you're left with 7 hours left in the day, which most humans are going to want to spend on things they enjoy doing. Sometimes this includes modding, sometimes it doesn't.
     

Not everyone has the privileged of having a hobby / freetime, and those who choose to spend it modding, might want to ask for support in order to spend hours upon hours making stuff for you.  I'm in the middle-ground where I think early-access is the best model - as it allows people to support creators, and allows folks without a budget to also, eventually, gain access to mods. 

For whatever it's worth, I don't think 10 dollars for a singular nude mod is fair or good practice; for ten dollars, I expect multiple mods, and it should go free eventually to support the community that's "Crowd-sourcing" the knowledge and information that allows you to mod in the first place.  Wherever there's take, there must be give (Imo)

Thank you! All very good points, and just to add to your point- for most of the modders I've subbed to, $10 doesn't get you just a single nude mod for one game. 

 

$10 usually gets you access to dozens and sometimes over 100 mods for many games. I have definitely picked up games on steam sales just because I happen to have a good quality nude mod for it. 

 

Not going to hijack the thread outside of Inzoi discussion, but I'm glad it's being said. Just like there are bad overpriced games, sure there are bad overpriced mods... but flip side of the coin there's also really good high quality stuff out there at reasonable prices, and just saying ALL paid mods are bad... sound like something a child would say.

Now here on loverlab in any thread of game, i see only paid patreon links are put, when searching around and in other places you find everything for free.. 

I may be old-fashioned but the good old loverlab style with free mods is starting to be missed...

Amen to this! I subscribe to a couple including Mr. Francis and JMedia, but that is my "On the other hand" frame of mind, where I want to support the art and effort - they both also do put their stuff out there at times and assist at times in providing base mods for games as we can see with this one and the initial mods.

 

However, when I first was a longtime lurker here things were free it seemed. People were like a community and respected the modders who did it for the community. People weren't demanding. People were here for the kinks, the sex mods, and then other more deep areas I never got into since I know I am a comparative newbie. I do feel like there are less and less actual modders around. Here and Nexus. Maybe they have some secret mega discord now.

 

But I digress.

 

Anyway, I still wish there could be a dedicated section at the home part of this site for paid mods where the folks could basically show off and sell their wares, each perhaps having their own subforum or something. And then with the understanding that there would be a zero tolerance policy for adverts etc. in the general forums. I think that would solve a lot of issues and could be best of both worlds. Things do seem to be getting messy IMO.

Sorry for this novel/wall of text most will zoom by anyway!

Wow, I didn't know they would actually give InZoi it's own thread, at least this early in the game's life. I thought for sure they were gunna wait until the mods were in full swing. Good to be prepared I guess.

I was lurking until I saw this, and only just realized (after entering this thread via notifications) that they did go ahead and give it a subforum. But if you go through this thread (and or another one?) you'll realize very quickly that this didn't seem to come easy.

As I understand it, these are only available for females are are actually a Bra overlay, not nudity (same with the bottoms).  The current designer has commented that he has NO current plans for a male version.  Because these are just clothing, it doesn't stay very long in the game and some have mentioned that it causes errors with other Zois when applied to non-standard body types.. makes sense.  YET, this is awesome and once the Mod kit comes out from Inzoi in May, hopefully the flood gates of fun will open wide.

It's hilarious how you all acting like adding nude mods to the game is somewhat groundbreaking. It's unity game ofc it will modded with skin models and clothing. Real difficulty comes from script mods like adding anything that creates immersion that's not simply mesh import. Baldur gate 3 got fluent sex mod with spells and posing like in first week. It's just that that community not seem to be sharing enough intrest so nobody cares it's development further. Same with Gta 5 nobody cares sex mod in it which would be now completely possible since the source got leaked and and injecting custom animation tools now exist. 

 

Cyberpunk been around 5 years and still no sign of proper engineered sex mod. Main squeeze for this is more that there is no enough talent towards it than lack of intrest. Ofc big AA games like that would need something like source code information leaked. This game been around from it's official release for couple days you already crying over sex mod and hitting final nail in the coffin. Sad.

Unreal engine, not unity. Unreal is easier to mod than unity, and once the modding tools release, it'll make modding easier.

anyone tried their hand at making erotic solo emotes? or just sexy dances? i dont have the game legit yet, so i dont think if i can try. but since we got already a few new mods maybe that would be one way till proper mods are made. Basicly the game has a create your own emote function you just put on a video and it creates the animation for you and your Zoi can do the dance or emote. Like there is a few on the nexus for meme dances and just one for Bending over.
