Pandora as a replacement for FNIS? (Nemesis too?)

This is the closest I have seen to a quick and easy Zaz integration but I can't seen to get Nemesis to work because nemesis keeps spiting out 6002 errors.

The only downside to using Pandora as it is now is that there are a few mods that have yet to be converted to function with it (mainly a few scripted animation mods such as Thick Thighs Take Lives). Other than that, the lack of an animation limit makes up for the loss of a few mods.

Tested it further btw, the animation limit has been found, it is 65,535 (unsigned int16). Or at least that's what one of my many mods screaming, about probably OAR freaking out tbh.
Doesn't crash, but errors from a SKSE plugin.

I've bitten the bullet and switched to Pandora. So far, in my testing, it appears to be working for everything I need it for. The only exception may be necro animations used in defeat. But since I don't use those in play anyway, I'm not missing them.

I might be wrong on this, but I believe Pandora does not allow the use of gender-specific animations. From what I've seen on GitHub, there won't be a patch released for it.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

Delete all old output the first time rerunning after installing this update.

Edit: I forgot to include FNIS.esp so you may want to keep that plugin from the last version until a hotfix is pushed.

 I just tried the latest version, and it keeps crashing, wonder if others have the same problem?. Yes, I have installed Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime.

Works fine here, did you notice this?

 

Edit: I forgot to include FNIS.esp so you may want to keep that plugin from the last version until a hotfix is pushed.

 Yes, I have FNIS.esp from my Pandora version 1.51. And it is loaded on my MO2 right-hand pane.

 

Edited. I just tried my previous version of Pandora 1.51, and it crashed as well. I do notice that the Pandora once loaded it is hard to see the mods listed as being so dark.

 

New Edit. I just deleted Pandora 2.3, and I got Pandora 1.51 working no problem. I have no problem seeing the mods loaded in white, 2.3 the mods were almost background colour.

Same thing - versions above 1.5.1 crash after I hit "Launch" button. And this crashes did not even generate engine.log for me to even try to debug things.

2.3.0-beta works for me and now seems to support Zaz animations as well.  Be sure to keep the FNIS.esp from an earlier version ( I use a version from 2.1 alpha) and totally delete everything from your output folder.  Rebuild everything related to animations.  The only thing I'm still having trouble with is True Directional Motion - but I was testing an early alpha version of the DLL file from Patreon.  If I enable it, then I CTD upon game load.

How are people getting their animations to show up in patches all I get is this. As well as I've been I just switched over to Pandora for the ability to use creatures how, are people getting their Zaz based animations to run, because mine will bug out randomly.

I have the same exact thing. My animations don't show up in Pandora at all, but in the log output they are shown as
> FNIS Mod 1 : FNIS_xxxx_List

> ...

 

And it also says "40842 total animations added." so I guess it works but doesn't need a Pandora patch?

You might be right but I'm not sure because I've been struggling to get any animations that require ZAZ to work for me.  When I test having my hand bounds it glitches out and the arms just kinda t-pose on me.

I'm currently using FNIS + Nemesis again since I know (how) it works.

Trying to get Pandora to work, but for some reason it won't show any SLAL packs in the engine when building, and a lot of the mods I have that should work with it just fail, especially Sexlab and the SLAL packs, for example this what I get when checking the error log of Pandora's output:

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong for why it won't even recognize them in the engine. I'm using SSE 1.5.97, I have PBE 2.30 and added the FNIS.esp from 2.1.5, have the .net 8 runtime, and am trying to figure out if I'm missing something or what, and here's my error log if anyone can understand it better than me:

I'd go back to FNIS + Nemesis, but I tried to do that yesterday and Nemesis decided to stop working for me. If anyone can help me out, I'd be thankful.

I did, yes. Still gave me the same issues. So I reinstalled FNIS and Nemesis yesterday and that's when I found out that Nemesis didn't want to work and kept crashing before it finished. So I've removed them again and tried again with Pandora. I had FNIS and Nemesis output folders back when I was using that method, and I'm still checking the overwrite files in case I missed any files from either of them.

Fair enough. I'm not using the latest version so hadn't seen that.

Okay. So have you tried using an earlier version of Pandora?

 

Are you running Pandora via your mod manager as you would FNIS?
