The position is because SMP isn't working in your game.

The ones affected (Didn't test everything, of course.) are White Ebonite Gag (Ring) (Harness), Black Ebonite Gag (Ring) (Simple) and Red Ebonite Gag (Ring) (Harness). A few that work are: Black Ebonite Muzzle Lips Gag, Extreme Ballgag Harness (Red) and Black Ebonite Gag (Pony). So maybe something with the ring gags?Â

In short, even though the enable minigame in MCM is selected, whenever I tried to escape, it just show "see what happens" and play the animation, and then give a random outcome. Â I tried to start a new game and it didn't help. I have seen the information "Devious Device 5.2-NG initialized" for the save, so I think it's loaded correctly. My player character hurt sounds sometimes include gag/moan sounds (without being gagged) even though I repeatedly went through any MCM setting I could find and disabled any related options(where applicable).  Anyone got a workaround/solution for this problem? Also included my load order just in case.  Thanks a bunch. loadorder.txt

If you're using that, Nymra has just released a patch in its support topic that attempts to fix it.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction though. Woke up thinking I will have a long day of troubleshooting ahead of me. Looks like it was truly a Naked Defeat issue. 1
YamiYamichan Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Wondering if there has been a fix to the gags from DD not opening the mouth of the player character? I have Mfg Fix and Mfg Fix NG yet I still have the issue. When testing with ZAZ gags, they properly open the mouth, however, anything that uses DD doesn't work. This includes Expansion, Asset, Cursed Loot, and Equip for examples. Not really sure what to do to fix this issue so if there is something I did wrong or there is a patch of some kind I would like to know.

I tried these with a dark elf and they all show up. What elf race are you? and do you have any mods that hide helmets (these will often hide the gags too)?

Or do I need to go through the setup of DD SE first (i.e. installing SexLab via MCM, saving and loading save for DD SE etc.) and then do it all again for DD NG? Â Edited January 11 by dan_5959

You install DD SE first in your mod manager, then you install DDNG on top of it next, overwriting DD SE when asked. Then, when all of your mods are installed properly, you start your new game and configure stuff as you need. Â Think of DDNG as an update to DD SE that's delivered separately. In fact, if you installed DDNG when DD SE is initialized in your game, that'd be... very bad. 1

I installed it as a separate mod in MO2. Is that correct? Also, first time I went through the DD NG installation, I did the DD SE installation (in game and everything) first, and don't think I encountered any issues. Moonpaw Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Im having a big problem with fsmp, 3ba, devious device NG and body slots. If im running smp mode and in the cbbe 3ba mcm menu i put the player slot to "60- devious device compatible" i get CTDs 100% of the time when removing restrictive boots. When i change the body slot to 50 -> no crash. When i change the mode from smp to cbpc mode -> no crash, when i change it back to slot 60 with smp mode -> crash (all crashes happen when unequipping the device. wearing it or just putting it on doesnt crash it) What can I do in this case? Can i change the slot 50 devices to be quipped on slot 60 instead so i can leave the player slot in the cbbe 3ba menu on slot 50 which doesnt crash? What can I do???
deeyock Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I'm having issues with devices showing up. Some do, and some don't. I noticed the step that calls out building the "DDNG 3BA" groups in bodyslide. I don't have any groups with that in the name. Could that be the reason? How do I fix it? I've reinstalled with the replacers turned on and off, neither causes the groups to appear.
