Open the mods section, find DDNG and click on the green lightning bolt under the Dependencies column. From there you can see what DDNG conflicts with and even the specific files if you click on the text about that. If you don't have a Dependencies column, click on the cog on the far right next to Actions and add it.

 

It's probably DD SE, so make sure DDNG loads after that.

No idea what the issue is
Disabling OBodyNG the body appears again while wearing devices
Just really bizarre that it seems to be explicitly only Devious items that do this, not a single other item in the game I have equipped has done this

I guess I'll just leave Obody out of my modlist for now, it's not super important, just a nice mod to have

I've got an issue with the contraption escape game.

The first 4 characters are random then there's a repeat pattern of SWAD out to the max sequence length.

You're right, I seem to have messed something up. Strange, because I remember testing this when I made the minigame. Regardless, I'll go fix it, should be able to get it into the upcoming 0.4.3 version.

If that doesn't work, you have some other mod that interferes, go and ask there.

question. because i think i got kicked out of discord, may be due to inactivity, so i don't know if there's any update.

just wanna ask, if there's any word that this mod have any upcoming updates? I am changing my PC, so this could a fresh start for me.

Running into CTD on launch with DDNG, if I disable DDNG I get the ddl incompatible version error instead. What could be wrong here?

From this we can at least deduct that you're not on plain old SE.

Does your game even run w/o DDs? Did you start a new game?

Everything. None of us has second sight, what do you expect, giving no information at all? Check the requirements and chase them down to the last jota.

If that doesn't work, head over to the SE help section open a new thread and post at least your game version, mod manager and load order.

I have this same problem with my new game, except I have 5 devices not properly converted. If I leave DDx out when building the UD patch I have no error message but then UD doesn't seem to recognize any non abadon DD items. My previous game is ok with the same DD mods and versions IF I don't re-run the UD patcher. If I do re-run the patcher the same problem occurs also with it. I have updated some mods after I made the working UD patch for my previous game, so the reason can be one of those. I just can't find which one causes this.

 

EDIT: I finally managed to find the reason for this when I actually looked the files more closely in SSEdit. I'm using ParallaxGen and when I built the ParallaxGen Output the latest version of it also added some items from DDx, unlike before. This overwrote the changes made by UDPatcher because LOOT moves the ParallaxGen file (PG_1.esp) as low as possible. Just moving the created UDPatcher.esp below the PG_1.esp fixes the problem. 

 

OP: Your load order doesn't have PG*:esp file in the end. So the best solution in your case is also use SSEdit, select all files and then in the left side open the UDPatcher.esp and check what it shows under the "armor".

And just in case: if you're using ABBA or OBody NG, you need to build everythng, including the body, with -zeroed sliders-

I've been cleaning up my Mod Organizer and my Load Order.

 

Question about the following mod,

 

"Better NPC Support for Devious Devices" actual mod, found here, 

 

Well the question is, IS this compatible with DDNG?

Really at this point I figure this mod should be redundant or even harmful having it installed with DDNG.

 

Reading the last couple of pages of comments it would appear that over a year ago the mod author was writing a version of the mod for DDNG, and the last comment says it breaks NPC gag use that the mouth wont open properly to fit the gag.  (from what I can see, the npc is properly gagged with mod installed)

 

Well I have had installed probably for a while now perhaps ever since moving onto DDNG, and I keep looking at it thinking I should trim that from my LO.

No, I dont use all its features, one of the features allows the NPC to attempt to struggle out of DD items on their own giving them 3 chances to break free, I dont use it an I imagine it could break some mods such as NPC's that are placed in DD on purpose.

The main point of the mod was to correct NPC usage of some items such as armbinders, preventing bound NPCs from using weapons in combat, and traveling through loading screens with followers in DD.

I imagine those issues were likely addressed in DDNG as it is.

 

 

So again,

Should I still be using this mod in my LO or remove it?

I've had this installed back in the day to fix a few annoying bugs in DCL, but stopped using it after NG became a thing.

Main things I've used it for, NG covers, I believe - NPC's no longer lose their animation offsets, that sort of stuff. 🙂

I've got this installed and running pretty well with Gate to Sovngarde and the GTS Obody replacer (which uses 3BA). Overall pretty much everything seems to match the body in game, with the exception of Armbinders, which have clipping issues from the elbows up to the shoulders. The animations work fine, but the armbinders don't seem to stretch out as much as they need to there. I've tried everything I can think of in bodyslide to get those to work properly. Has anyone had issues with the armbinders or know of a way to rebuild the morphs to get rid of the clipping issues with Obody builds? It happens with any obody preset I select.

Why do you ask here and not in the mod's thread where your armbinder is from? The recolour is from DD Equip, I have no idea if they're even using the same base model.

 

Here are the two red ('new' and normal) variants that come with DD NG:

It happens with all armbinders including the two you linked, not just the recolored ones. That was just the first one that popped up in the DDe list to show the clipping issue.

As you're using OBody - did you build everything with -zeroed sliders- and ticked "build morphs"? If yes, try what happens when you discard your special body. Maybe that's just a missing preset? It does work with vanilla (3BA) bodies.

I did, and all the other devices worked perfectly, which is why I found it odd that one did not.
