Devious Devices NG

Getting a weird bug whereby all the armbinding devices go to a standard hand to hand animation if i ready weapon and move.  All the other related anims seem to work.  Any idea how to diagnose the culprit here?  I have OAR, but the log is confusing me as to how to figure out why this is happening.

I tried using piercings for the first time since installing DD NG (I'm on 1.5.97 using 3BA)

 

The physics are working, but for the nipple piercings they're very clearly following a different set of physics bones than my PC's body. Can anyone suggest ways to trouble shoot or fix that issue?

 

On the version changes for 0.2.9 it says "Soulgem Vaginal Piercings with added SMP and V3 animations for glow"... I'm not seeing anything looking like a glow. Are there any prerequisites required? What's the exact name of the piercing (so I can make sure I'm adding the right one)?

The nipple piercings are kinda meuhh, it was touch and go wheather they were included in the latest update or not, its not perfect by a long stretch. I might revisit them at some point in the future. As for the glow its kinda subtle, there is an outer layer that has some transparency with an inner core that glows and has a colour rotation, I think it will stay like that for now untill we examine nif swapping based on vibration events.

Is there a reasonably easy way to revert the changes to the nipple piercing behaviour? While I love that they're physics enabled, I find the way they float off the nipples and through the flesh of my PC's breasts a little too distracting :D

Short term if your handy with OUtfit studio you could simply copy the weights from the old piercing onto the new one and remove the attached xml.

Long term I might have a solution, perhaps you could consider joining the discord, theres some stuff that wasnt part of the latest release and all new items are in there for testing before an LL release.

I've never really gotten really gotten into discord, but perhaps it's time...

 

The super short term solution was to rebuild the Bodyslides using the DD - CBBE SE files. Not as jaunty, but at least the piercings aren't floating around.

Also an option but you dont get the pretty glowing effect. It's a shame the smp doesnt work as nicely as I had hoped because I love the way the vaginal piercing behaves, did you try the new armbinder yet? Thats another thing I was realkly happy with.

Luckily the vaginal piercing works perfectly - and I agree it looks and behaves just lovely. It's the nipple piercings that act as if they're attached to one specific size of breasts and boob physics, which just doesn't match mine. It's probably not helped by the fact that I'm using OBody NG to have varied bodies either (though it works fine with other 3BA SMP outfits etc, so I'm not sure).

 

Not sure which are the new armbinder, but I tested out an armbinder and yoke and they look great. So far the OAR animations work perfectly.

For some reason I can't remove anal plugs. When I try unequip them, the MessageBox has only "Put it in" and "Carry on" options, not option to remove it. Meantime plug stays in and all its effects still apply

If you're using Nemesis, you might have a misconfigured setup leading to missing locomotion pose animations. Make sure Nemesis output overwrites FNIS, and install the latest versions of the following mods:
- Nemesis Creatures BEHAVIOUR compatibility
- Nemesis Creature Behavior - WereWolf Addon
- Some Creature Behavior Bug Fixes
- Precision Creatures
- TK Dodge RE
Delete Nemesis output and regenerate it.

Hello,

I get the message "This device (Heels) requires NetImmerse Override, which you do not have installed."
Can someone help me with that ?
The Heels can not be worn.

And, some devices are invisible, like harnesses.

 

1. I use the right version of reacemenu

2. I did use BodySlide to build the outfits.

3. I already tried to install the mods form a new.

I have a visual problem with ebonite panel gag where half of it is displaying leather panel gag. I check the mesh and texture files, and nothing overwrite them. Does anyone know how to fix this? image.thumb.jpeg.41977b038c6c3cd552de33914016a245.jpeg

I realize that the animations are designed for female characters, but would it be ok in the next version to remove the female requirement?  Of course it would be even better if someone wanted to design male animations as well, but just having any animation working on males is good enough for now.

You are correct - as soon as we get into supporting the For Him add-on, that flag should be removed as well, if everything works as intended. 🙂

 

Not the next version, though as that's currently in testing already - but maybe 2-3 versions away.

That would be grand, however, if I remember correctly, there are about ~3-4k animations in total between DD & NG - and making a comparable separate set for males would need someone with a lot of free time and enthusiasm 😆

That alone might be among the best convenience patch I have seen in a while! You can't believe how many times I waddled all the way to a carriage only to recall I can't use it 😅

I am definitely going for a new playthrough once this gets released (too lazy to pick upgraded in pieces from discord, though it gets increasingly tempting)

If I disable the device hider in the MCM, I still get if force-added to the inventory. This used to work before I installed NG, now it doesn't.

 

I need the device hider gone because I have a mod called Your Eternal Reward from Nexus that gives you a TF2 style dagger.

If you backstab someone with it, it will unequip all your armor and then equip disguise armor for the faction you just backstabbed and has a little disguise minigame (guards can still unmask you). It's quite fun but the disguise gets auto-reverted if you equip anything else.

 

Now the device hider is implemented as an item you wear, but it has no name, so you don't see it in the inventory.

However, as soon as the disguise script from YER removes it, devious devices reequips it, killing the disguise immediately, basically breaking the whole dagger mod.

 

How do I prevent the device hider item from being auto-requipped?

Whenever I put on the petsuit, I cannot move forward or backwards, I can spin my character in place but not actually move at all, just wondered if anyone knows a solution as I'm sure its something that I've done wrong as opposed to this mod. Thanks!

It's a debuff on carry weight, like for the dresses. You can either begin to walk in 1st person then go in 3rd person or use a way to modify carry weight ( cheat, enchant, mod... )
