@h87dst54: The animations are handled by sexout and shouldn't really be any different than for sexoutsex/assault- are you sure they both still work every time but soliciting doesn't? Also, do you get any message box information when you load game, and are you using Amra's replacers (they are causing some animation problems with current sexout at the moment)?

Pretty neato! Animation worked on its third try I guess something is interrupting the script that runs it. I'm currently looking at my load order. All the merchants took me to Novac even the ones traveling away from it. Not familiar with scripting so not sure if that's a possibility for a merchant to take you to the next town/area as he makes it to the town/area checkpoint of his route.

Maybe down the line you could add an option to choose which "major" town/areas to choose from to go to.

 

 

Another thing that would be cool is trap merchants. Maybe they'll take you to be enslaved by Legion or something.

 

Though I think that would be handled by a different/slavery mod.

It's working now and it's great! But yes it was bugging out for some reason I'm not sure which of my 15 mods it was conflicting with. I meticulously uninstalled and reinstalled everything and changed load order for smallertalk vs soliciting (not sure if that did anything?) aint going to change anything now anyway!

 

Edit: I'm actually still experiencing some graphic problems only (it would seem, haven't tested it infinitely) when soliciting, soliciting-DLC, and SmallerTalk is enabled. The sex is now working fine but from time to time goes into "ghost-mode" where the camera is just flying around although there's no action but it's solved by engaging in conversation and everythings back to normal. SPOILER(?) FOLLOWING-> Is it supposed to just be fade to black when you're drugged and no action? Kind of want to know what happens there :shy:

Considering you are able to call your "own in folder" Amra's Animations, I've a little suggestion for the DLC Honest Hearts plugin.

 

 

1. First "romantic Peak" ---> Only call for a handjob (stand or knees) or titjob (depending maybe from player's charisma level).

2. Second peak ---> blowjob or sisxty-nine.

3. Third peak ---> complete fuck.

4. Following peaks ----> all options availables.

 

 

 

More:

considering that unnamed Sorrows or Deahorses don't have a dialogue but with smaller talk, I noticed there is not an option to close the smaller talk's dialogue window without have to go through all soliciting sex dialogues (or sexout sex's ones if you have that mod installed).

Haven't had a chance to try the new version yet, though I am very much looking forward.

 

Quick question to all (and Odessa!) - how would you guys feel about extra locations for the travelling merchants? Nothing big or fancy, but just small OOW (out of world) locations like a cave, maybe a tunnel or sewer, a fallout shelter or an abandoned house/gas station, the the travelling merchant(s) use as a stop off point, very much like the tent? It would be custom and have small little touches added to it (maybe a guard/other merchants, etc) and could lead to potential follow ups (maybe the two of you get interrupted by a third party, maybe the guard wants to join in, etc) but only if people feel this would add to the mod. 

 

Thoughts?

The only other issues i can report is having one companion along when travelling with the merchants did not go well for me on two attempts so passed on the third try and left companion at home, without companion it went well on every try, also two of the prostitutes were laying dead after the sex fest party at Helios one was over, had to console resurrect both to get them back, not sure what went wrong i will try and be more observant on the next trip out, invisible body on the last part of the guy passing me off as his wife that's already been reported, that's about as far as i have got so far but once the minor issues are resolved i would say this is going to be one of the top must have mods for sexout.

I agree.

Not so much as a trading post but an "overnight shelter". So say you are a trader in post apocalyptic America, wanting to travel from say, New Reno to Modoc (or any distance far larger than is represented in the FNV map) you are lucky if you get to stop at a town along the way, but you will most likely be sleeping under the stars (in a tent) or some other shelter. These "shelters" are what I have in mind, ergo; a cave, a tent, an abandoned house, a gas station, etc. Basically, interiors they would use along the way.

The only companion enhancement mods i have are, Companion Sandbox Mode V1_2a , Unlimited Companions 101, KDCs Companions Removable Armors.

 

Edited i was using a custom follower when i had the issues so i will try a vanilla and see how that goes.

 

Edited i started a new game with the mod and that seemed to solve all the problems i reported before other then the two brothers in Novac still have no erection during sex, so if anyone else gets those other issues then you may want to try the mod with a new game, and i would highly recommend until the next released update it may be a good idea to do a save right before you go traveling with a merchant.

Does it print to console "Soliciting: NVAC (New Vegas Anti Crash) is not installed, the Raccoon trick is disabled" when you load game?

 

Alternative overnight spots for traveling merchants sounds cool, if you want to make some :).

 

After investigating it, the way they implemented traveling merchants in FNV is rather a bodge... I think I may make a standalone mod that overhauls them with new routes and is compatible with soliciting. Although, Pillars of Eternity comes out tomorrow ;).

Lo and behold, as I play, he appears. (he does seem very rare though? Like I have only gotten him twice in hours of play compared to 3/4 times for other special tricks)

 

Funny you mention the Caravans, because I mentioned a while ago a concept I had for caravans that actually travel through the wastes once you clear the threats, such as the Deathclaws. Would make going into the wastes a lot more interesting if you found gun runners, crimson caravan, followers of the apocalypse med/chem sellers, clothes vendors, etc, going to and fro New Vegas. I'll get started on some small stop offs then.

I love this idea more places to stay like caves tunnels or sewers etc; sounds great :D

Damn, I thought Pillars was a new mod coming out but it's a new game.

 

This isn't the proper thread to ask but since you've made an esp to use some of Amra's animations in Soliciting, I figured I'd ask you.  I know a number of Amra's animations aren't compatible with the newer SexoutNG at the moment but are you aware of which ones?  Right now I'm using your amra esp and Amra's penis mesh since the handjob animations wont line up without it, but I'm starting to miss all of the other Amra animations since the older NG ones are just bleh.

 

So I was hoping someone knew which of Amra's replacers still work.  I know one of the oral ones doesn't, the male and female both get on all 4's and just act odd. 

 

Amra isn't going to fix the animations anytime soon, he's moved on to the Sims 3, so Obi Wan, you're my only hope.

OK, little feedback round, in no particular order:

 

- I don't actually think you get "paid" for sleeping with the Merchants and using their tent. At the end of it, you don't get anything. As someone pointed out, there is also no way to turn down the offer. Also, the idea is that the guards should also be able to make use of the tent, as they would also presumably sleep in it. The dialogue is good, but more control over the options as to what you do would be nice, as you do with the Guards. Following on from this...

 

- Two of the dialogue options for deciding what to do for the guards (you decide, anal, oral, vaginal) are missing full stops at the end of their sentences.

 

- No time seems to pass after the Boulder City guy sleeps with you. As he says he will let you sleep for a while before deciding to take advantage of you, maybe anywhere between 6-8 hours should pass, to simulate a "night". The dialogue option is also for a place to crash "for the night" even though the player can choose to use it at any time of day. Maybe the option should only become available after 6PM or the dialogue should be changed to reflect it?

 

- Related to this, though sleeping in his bed should "reset" the encounter after he is done with you, you can't actually "sleep" in his bed afterwards, even though you can talk to him again. Feels like the player should have this option.

 

- In the Raccoon encounter, is the female Raccoon supposed to follow you down to the "The place where this is happening again"? Because for me they followed, but then went back up to the room and I couldn't get them back down. Also, if the player returns to the room, the COC marker is outside the door so the player actually spawns outside the room.

 

- Because the little touches and small details are such a part of this mod and help make it as amazing as it is, maybe a "pitching tent" sound effect would be a nice addition between the fade to black to the caravan tent and then afterwards when the player is returned to world.

 

- Another good addition would maybe be some sort of distance marker for the dances the girls perform in the bathhouse? I see a lot of them dancing inside/extremely close to each other. On a personal note, IMO I feel some of the dances are a little bit over the top and perhaps a little too often. A nice feature would maybe be that whoever happens to be dancing at the time has a slightly higher chance of getting the John.

 

I also have a few other ideas/suggestions, but I'll PM these instead so as not to spoil it for anyone if they actually get implemented.

- Merchants: agree with almost everything except I think to remember I got paid with some stuffs.

- Boulder City: agree totally. Time must pass. Night should be a condition. In my case, even, the door is never locked. A "cooldown time" is needed.

- Raccoon: I just installed NVAC. How starts this event? I never seen it yet.

- Bathhouse: agree with "dance markers". Btw, I had an entire day (24 in game hours) without clients (console: no johns arrived). Pretty annoying. Expecially playing in hardcore mode.

I almost drink the entire water reserve I had.

- Gomorrah event: as already said, I hope to have it weekly.

This is what I do to avoid the no johns, or they do not come regularly. I just stand around or what not for  about 15s or so til the message: "you should try waiting" .Then I walk around for 10 s or so  and Then I wait and it usually fires in 1-4 hrs with an event.

Bathhouse:

 

"Sol: NBHQ - MenuMode block aborting because time is not passing yet"

 

This means you have the wait menu open, but you are not waiting. Time needs to be passing for customers to come in.

 

The message "Try waiting" doesn't trigger anything, it's just a hint.

 

I'll increase the distance between dancing girls. Dancing does not currently affect the chance of being picked, but charisma, soliciting skill and wear + tear level do. Incidentally, the other girls have a wear + tear level that increases each time they do a trick.

Merchants don't pay you for hitch hiking right now. I'll fix the grammer and add some more options. I'll see if I can find a free pitching a tent sound fx.

 

Boulder City: Time does pass when you sleep in Ike's bed. He is not supposed to lock you inside, that was a bug that I fixed- maybe it could make a good story, but that story needs to be written first. I don't think it should need to be night to sleep there, personally I think sleeping during the day is a bad habit, but I'm not judging ;). I'll change the intro dialogue line to reflect the time of day though.

 

Raccoon: I'll fix the door transition if you go back to the room. Raccoon should follow you, but if he is fleeing he may go back upstairs. I do already check for this and teleport him back behind you, though.

 

Gomorrah Orgies: I will make them repeatable.

Hello Odessa,

 

When loading up Soliciting with the new Soliciting 5.5(0), Amra Animation plugin (Your new plugin vers, not Amra's), plus SexOut Beta 2.19.93b6, NX 16;

The debug message for soliciting that summarises which mods that it can use shows that the Amra animation check is no longer passed.

(Lutana, Wear & Tear .. etc passes)

 

Is this expected, or normal?

Ah, I forgot to mention this. Soliciting will not recognize my new "Sexout-Amra.esp" until I update it. This is because the animations numbers have changed, so my old calls won't work with it.

 

I think beta6 only supports Amra animations via the random picker, but they can be called directly in beta7, which should be out soon.

I have a request, if possible. (Sorry if here should not be the right place to answer but ... I don't know where.).

 

Maybe you have heard about a mod by Bromm93 called "Sexout Hookups".

The idea was nice and it worked fine (almost) until the new latest changes in Sexout. Now, some dialogues that ask for vaginal sex becomes oral, some other oral becomes anal and so on. Even, it doesn't take count of genders, at least not in the right way I suppose it should. So my request is for a mod based on those ideas:

 

1. Like this old mod, the player is allowed to offer her "services" for money (same as the old mod).

2. If wearing a cloth (or armor) tagged as "prostitute" by Clothing Evaluate, the player could be approached and asked for sex on demand (old mod) BUT, this time (new idea) the approaching NPC should take count of:  A. His/her Lust level (Spunk/Lust dependency).  B. His/her gender preferences (SexoutNG settings).

3. If approached, the player could accept or refuse (as old mod) or, even, be raped (new idea). Raped possibility based on player's skills about Unarmed, Armed, wearing weapons (several options to think on).

4. Money (ONLY money please, no more a lot of garbages) amount based on a sort of "experience and skill" system. (maybe number of sex done, number of oral, anal, vaginal) or also based on Wear and Tear thresolds?

5. As in the old mod, NPCs can approach player's active followers (if female only, new idea) if they wear a cloth/armor tagged as skimpy, or prostitute, or fetish (options to study on).

6. The most important part, for me. The actions should be called directly by the mod (like in your Soliciting) and, possibly, the Amra's ones.

 

You surely would ask me several things, like:

 

- Why me? ----------> Because you are without doubts the best and most talented modder here. And the original mod's author, Bromm93, is no longer active here since two years.

- There is already Soliciting! ---------> Yes but it's mainly on "locations" related and, btw, there is nothing from Soliciting inside Atomic Wrangler or other Strip's Casinos.

- You can use Working Girl from Tryout! ---------> No more, please. I wish to have a working girl system NOT related to brutal rape, slavery and all the Tryout's thing I don't like at all.

- I have no time for this, sorry.  -----------> I understand, of course, and there is no rush and no force. It's only a "please" request. If not, I'll will still admire you and your work.

I have a crazy almost silly suggestion also you can implement (or force) V.A.T (Vault Anomalies Taxes) with variations in percentage let's say 9% for oral sex to 17 % for handjobs etc.
Then you can add new or old npc as tax collectors. :)

Take your time do what you will we appreciate all the time and effort you put on your mods.
