Not sure I understand, when you set a new outfit, the old one should get removed/stripped.

It works perfectly on my follower. It strips all armor slots and adds the new outfit.

It does not work on my PC. It just replaces the outfit slots with the new parts in the json file and leaves the old slots equiped.

I have the Follower and PC in my own actorlist and select them there before I apply the outfits if that makes a difference.

I can provide screenshots if it helps if you tell me what you need to see.

What I also found out is that the outfit names in the json files must not contain upper case characters.

SUM detects those records as valid outfits in the outfit menu but does not equip them.

I guess you transform all strings to lowercase when importing json files.

The procedure that equips the outfits then tries to read the json file again and can't find the record that is only in lowercase characters.

Ok. this is propably my own fault cause I edit these files by hand 😅 Just wanted to mention it.

Hmm, this is true. Thanks for pointing this out. For the next version I'll add an option, say 'bStrip' that when present in the equip options it will strip the PC before setting the new outfit.

Yes, this is a game engine limitation. All list/outfits names in the json file itself must be lowercase. However, if you set the names in the MCM itself they can be uppercase and/or lowercase.

Hello,

I tried to update the SUM to the last version, but there is a message in game popped up and tell me it requires SKSE 2.2.6. Did I make something wrong, because the SKSE is not listed in requirements. I current running the 1.6.640 Skyrim and SKSE 2.2.3.

Posted (edited)

I keep getting: Installed version could not be found. Make sure to install latest version. I do get a message that Sum updated fine.

I have Skyrim - Utility Mod AE 3.22.2 and BEES.

Works fine with previous SUM.

I don't have DD equipped, Death Alt or prison overhaul.

I do have Simple Slavery...Would that cause it?

Is there another mod?

Seems I forgot about SAE 1.6.640. I'll add SKSE 2.2.3 to the compatible versions list and reupload a new version of SUM. Thanks for pointing this out.

Do you have a SS of this message? Also, of SUM 'System' MCM page?

Same issues with the version not found issue. Also issues with POP. Previous version worked fine and I just rolled backwards for now.

** Edit - Mmmm... might be able to disregard the POP issue. I didn't realize there was a recent update and wasn't the most up to date with POP.

Anyone else upgrade 3.18.3 to 3.22.2 (and not backup json files) and find that their custom outfits (iSUmOutfits.json) are all gone...reset to defaults? Shortcut config was defaulted too but that's easy to recreate.

Working SUM....

Great screenshots, just what I needed.

I'll have a look and see what I can see.

EDIT:

You should update your PO3PE to version No. 5.7.0 or higher; There are more SUM features available with that version.

EDIT:

OK, I found a bug that affects SUM versioning for missing optional mods. Should be fixed in the verrsion bellow.

Sorry that happened, but you need to make your own MyOutfits.json.

Look here under 'Custom Outfits Page'.

Skyrim - Utility Mod 3.22.4RC AE.7z 12.32 MB · 1 download

So this version fixed my SUM issues, but then POP and DDE started throwing errors about not being able to find their system.json file and POP also threw this confusing error image.png.557ea61ccea88daed4999c786575230e.png

New version fixed it! Great job! And yes... while it takes extra setup for Skyrim and other games (like editing hex files), my 49 inch ultrawide Samsung Odyssey is a DREAM! It feels almost like playing in VR most of the time 😃

I am now getting that same papyrus 4.6 needs 4.6 error code and System.json file error already posted. I'm assuming it is an identical issue, so I didn't add an ultrawide pic of the same error code.

Yes I have both VR and Samsung 49 inch monitor. I havent used VR for a while now. Mostly because VR is much harder to set up but still the 49 inch monitor is amazing.

Another 640/2.2.3 w/ DDe, Dreams, etc stopping in to say thanks! ❤️

Also one help tip for the older version players - next time you're updating the d/l page, could you change the

  • BEES (ONLY if your Skyrim version is prior to 1.6.1130)

to say something more dire, like SKYRIM WILL CRASH AT LAUNCH WITHOUT THIS!

because, yeah, 100% true, 100% repeatable. In testing what was up with SUM I disabled BEES; you'll get a generic C++ libs crash right after splash screen cause it's linked against it; disabling SUM lets it launch and play. I'm guessing some will have less than their allotment and might think they don't need BEES, and they most certainly do.

but anyway, again, thanks!

crap... spoke too soon, same as nerb... did you change a variable to pull version string for path or something, or is 640 doing something different than 1170/1130?

That message cracks me up every time I see it, so retarded. :classic_biggrin::classic_blush:
