I think it should be possible to remove the Hearthfires.esm requirement in TES5Edit.

I downloaded Martha (Maven) sometime last year so I can't tell you if it's the latest one but you're welcome to the version I'm using. Just so you know, this mod not only adds the follower Martha (found in Riften jail) but ALSO replaces Maven Blackbriar with the exact same look as the follower.

If anybody wants it, I translated the original ESP to English and removed the Hearthfires dependence. It works fine in my game BUT since my game has Hearthfires, I can't say for sure if the ESP will actually work for someone without Hearthfires. If someone without HF can test it, that would be great. The ESP has another issue but it's not a game-breaker. There are two forms (xx000D64 and xx000D67) that are using vanilla Elven assets. It was probably an oversight by the original author but I can't say for sure. I named them Shizhuang Leftover 1 and 2 so you can easily recognize them. The same two forms exist in the UNPBO conversion as well. Aside from this, the other 16 pieces equipped just fine on my character. 

 

If I stepped on any toes posting this here or if the thing just doesn't work, let me know and I'll delete it. Type Help Shizhuang in the console to get them.
