I've thought about pregnancy-related comments for SLSF Fame Comments, as SLSF can track pregnancy fame. The biggest problem there is that the most popular pregnancy mods don't increment SLSF fame. The second biggest problem is that I don't know of any way to detect if a player is pregnant -- or more to the point -- visibly pregnant. Comments that can't comment on an actual visible pregnancy would be pretty limited -- they would just be comments on the PC being frequently pregnant, yet would have to carefully avoid the subject of whether the PC is currently (visibly) pregnant. The third problem is that, for SLSF Fame Comments at least, being pregnant (or even frequently pregnant) is probably not something the typical Skyrim NPC would see as anything but a joyful occasion, unless it was coupled with Slut fame or Whore fame, but then the comments are going to overlap Slut and Whore comments to a certain extent. Comments might also be different for pregnancies out of wedlock, but the game doesn't provide a good way to track a PC's marriage status. Also, even if the PC is married, it's not clear how an NPC in a new town would know that.

For this mod, you would have a lot of the same issues except, of course, that PW status would definitely color the type of comments arising from pregnancy fame, and this mod actually provides a scheme for married PC status. But this mod doesn't have an MCM. It has some dialogue interactions that can be used to set certain variables, but it's not clear to me how a similar dialogue system could be used for pregnancy fame.

I'm not sure exactly how it works but Fertility Adventures has a system for detecting when the PC is visibly pregnant (through the Fertility Mode mod) and having NPCs occasionally comment on it. Maybe it would be possible to adapt that mod's method for your comments mods? Just thought I'd bring it to your attention in case you were interested.

A slight issue I'm having is that sometimes the ashamed first-person thoughts that trigger self-covering animations will cause these animations to interrupt others, including sex animations. I'm not sure whether this is a problem inherent to the mod or I have a conflict somewhere, but I wanted to ask if it would be possible to have thoughts without associated animations. I know I can turn the thoughts off through the priest dialogue but I also enjoy having them. Maybe one extra dialogue option with priests that disables animations? Something like "I can't keep covering myself if I want any hope of making it through my quota" (to turn animations off) and "I just can't stand the way everyone keeps looking at me" (to turn them back on)?

(Also I have to give kudos for the dialogue options you've already implemented. It was not easy to come up with examples that were both immersive and made it obvious what they were supposed to do!)

I don't think you have any particular conventional mod conflicts. The first-person comment animations in this mod will interrupt other animations. I tried my best to prevent conflicts, but it's not perfect. These first-person comments do have a condition that the PC can't be in the SexLab animation faction to trigger the comments. However, there is a slight delay once a SexLab event is called before SexLab puts the PC in this faction, so this is a good but not foolproof system. The mod also checks to make sure the PC is not sitting, riding a mount, or holding a torch or weapon before these comments can be triggered.

So, yes, I could add additional 'MCM-function' dialogue options as you mention to turn off the animations (and leave the first-person comments), but I think it will become less obvious what the different dialogue options do.  Also, I would have to come up with another set of dialogue to cover the other set of first-person comments -- where the PC likes being the PW. Those would be trickier to write, because at least one dialogue line would have to indicate that, although the PC likes being the PW, she doesn't want to touch herself when she gets excited. Or, maybe I should just break down and add a conventional MCM? It's not that hard to do. I was just trying to streamline things and avoid MCM bloat.

Up to you, I guess. It doesn't happen THAT often for an animation to interrupt something, so I could also learn to live with it and just disable the thoughts whenever it's bugging me too much.

how to trigger first person thought ? my character doesnt have any though is it possible conflict with other mods ?

The mod defaults to enable first person thoughts. These are essentially random "Hello" and "Idle" comments so there's nothing I know of that can block them. You can try talking to any priest about your "thoughts". That's the way you turn them back on if you have turned them off.

One note, however: The first person thoughts are taking advantage of the vanilla "Hello" and "Idle" comment trigger system. So, even though they appear as "first person" thoughts, they are actually being triggered by nearby non-follower NPCs. So, if there are no nearby non-follower NPCs, you won't get any first person thoughts.

Hi, I was looking around trying to find this option, in Solitude I guess Rorlund should qualify as a priest but I see no dialogue option referring to the PC's thoughts. Is there something I'm missing maybe?

Well that's odd. I just checked in the Creation Kit, and some of the priests are not in the Priest faction. I guess that was a bad assumption on my part, but I'm blaming Bethesda. Anyway, this dialogue is conditioned on the speaker being in the Priest faction and Rorlund is not.  Also, strangely, Freir is not and Silana is not. So, no Priest faction NPCs in Solitude! I can fix in the next version by adding these individual NPCs to the dialogue conditions for this dialogue. In the meantime, you'll have to go to someplace like Whiterun or Riften, where I know there are priests in the Priest faction.

Hi, I found a very old version of Public Whore, it doesn't have Windhelm and the bandits. Will your comments apply to the old version of the mod?

It should. None of the comments are specific to Windhelm or the bandits. As long as none of the internal PW variables have changed, which I doubt, it should work fine.

Hello.

I want the old 1.1b for Voice pack.
is it no longer available?

That version had a pretty serious bug, which caused it to block Public Whore approaches, which is why I removed it from the downloads section. This was fixed in version 1.2a, which is still posted. Also, the voice pack should work with any version. It just won't add voices for the comments added by later versions.

Mod doesn't seem to do anything. Dialogue options with priests and jarls is present and the percentage comment chance comes up top left of screen when changing comment frequency through jarls, but no comments or thoughts are ever displayed. Using PW 1.2.4 as recommended. Using SE version if that helps (with skyrim SE (or AE? I don't know what the difference is)).

Someone commented yesterday on the PW thread that the PW dialogue was not working for them, so I don't think the issue is specific to this mod. Based on your description, the player-initiated dialogue is working, but for some reason the random "Idle" dialogue is not working. Keep in mind that 95% of this mod is just expanding the random "Idle" dialogue built into the PW mod. So, if you are getting no such "Idle" dialogue, then the problem is not specific to this mod, because that means the PW "Idle" dialogue is not working either.

In any case, it's all working fine for me on SE (version 1.5.97), and also on "AE" (version 1.6.640), but I haven't upgraded to 1.6.1130, so I don't know what issues that could cause. Are you getting the random "Idle" dialogue built into the vanilla game? Go to the Whiterun market. If you don't hear the vendors hawking their wares, then the vanilla "Idle" dialogue is not working either.  PW and this mod use the exact same vanilla dialogue system that generates those vanilla "Idle" comments. If that works, PW and this should work.

Unless it's a version issue, most likely issues would be caused by other dialogue mods.

Yeah, NVM. My dumb ass didn't think of starting a new character for this. Had PW installed and working long before adding this mod and a character currently doing it. On starting a new character things are now working. I'm going to go sit in a corner and think about what I've done. Thanks for mod. It's very good.

Silly question, do install this seperately or in the public whore mod itself?

Install separately. It will mod the PW mod.

you made such a big work, but , as far as i can see, PW does not count to whore fame ?

No, it does not. This mod doesn't touch any of the PW scripts, and that would be necessary to add such a feature.

Do you think in make a Fallout 4 version?

This mod just adds comments to the Public Whore mod, so there would have to be a Fallout 4 version of Public Whore first.

I really like this mod, especially the character thoughts subtitles. But I found that it seems to only be displayed when character become a public whore. If I want it to be displayed all the time, what do I need to modify ?thanks verymuch!
