Any chance of a LE version or is there LE compatibility?

I don't have LE to test it, but it should work just fine on LE. Public Whore is actually an LE mod that works on SE. And this mod just adds comments, which are compatible between LE and SE.

Just checking in - does this mod have its own MCM, like SLSF Comments, or does it just lean on PW settings?

I've been wracking my brain troubleshooting both mods for like 45 minutes now and finally figured out what was getting in the way of SLSF Comments' MCM menu showing up but was mystified with why I wasn't seeing one for this mod... but maybe there isn't one, haha.

No MCM for this mod. It just adds to the set of random comments generated by the Public Whore mod. The mod does hook into several of the Public Whore MCM settings, so yes it leans on the PW settings.

Working on a set of comments for PW spouses. (You won't actually need to get married in Riften. Just give any follower a Bond of Matrimony ring to wear.)

New version is up. Please let me know if you see any typos.

Voice pack got updated now ;)

Thanks! It looks like there is a bug in v1.1. It's just a logic bug (giving spouses access to some non-spouse comments), so it won't change any dialogue when I fix and update a new V1.1a.

Does it have to be Aroused redux or will other aroused mods work?

All this mod does is check the "sla_Arousal" faction rank (0-100) that these arousal mods generate, and they must all use the same faction, so I'm sure any would work.

That is good to hear, thank you.

Just a note that version 1.2 is posted. It adds about 200 comments to the prior version. Mostly, these are added "idle" comments. The prior set were mainly 'hello' comments, and these weren't really firing in places like market squares where people are standing around idling a lot. With this version, these "dead spots" should be filled in with additional comments. However, because 'idle' comments can be delivered a bit further away (and without head-tracking), these 'idle' comments have been written to be more "background" in nature, i.e., not necessarily directed to the PW. Also, there were comments on cum on the PW in the prior version but they didn't work. Now they do, and more comments on cum have been added.  Otherwise, more of everything.

Hey there @Gristle , loved the comments. Thank you for adding more content to PW it really keeps it fresh. Especially liked the new spouse content. I wanted to inform you that for some reason this mod is preventing guard approaches for hero fame start. At least for me I don't know if others are having this happen. Everything else seems fine though, guards still approach for rule breaking and such. I'm using the LE version of the if that makes any difference. I started two new games, one with and one without this mod to make sure it was something with this mod. Thanks again

this is on PW 1.2.4

Thanks! And thanks for the heads up. I just posted a new version 1.2a that should fix this problem, but it's going to take me a bit of time to start a new game and test, so this fix has not been tested yet. If anyone cares to test, I would appreciate it.

Potentially boring explanation: Early on I thought about editing the dialogue in other parts of the mod, but quickly abandoned that idea as I didn't want to add any dialogue that needed scripts, or change gameplay in any way. So, I added a line to the "PW startup" quest, and then deleted it, but the CK still evidently flags this quest as "edited" despite there being no changes.  And... the PW startup quest is "Start Game Enabled", which requires a special "SEQ" file to work, and I guess the "edited" flag is making it want a new SEQ file. Anyway, I went into SSEEdit and removed all PW startup "edits" so this should fix.

Do these comments fire only while you are the current Public Whore, or will they also comment after you have been PW in that hold  before?

Most are current PW comments, but there are also comments regarding prior PW status in the hold. Also a small set of comments when the PC becomes eligible as PW in the hold.

Glad to hear. It was fun to write, and I have a related question: The current spouse comments assume an unwilling spouse, i.e., a "cuckold" scenario. Is there any interest in a "hotwife" scenario, where the spouse instead actively encourages their wife to have sex with others as the PW (and actively encourages others to use their wife as the PW) and enjoys watching their wife with others as the PW? Such a spouse could also be allowed to 'approach' the PW as a follower.

If so, the cuckold/hotwife nature of the spouse should be selectable, but I wouldn't want to add an MCM just for this. What about giving the spouse an inventory item to change their nature? Perhaps a copy of the Lusty Argonian Maid?

Personally I prefer the unwilling cuckold aspect, because I think it fits with the nature of the mod better. But I don't see a problem with having both, especially if you want to add it.

Gave this a try and I have to say great job, love the comments. Only ones I don't care for are the ones that come from the player, it's a bit un-immersive to me and I don't like mods to speak for my character. Would be great if we could turn player comments off.

Apologies I don't think the pc comments are coming from this mod :( Time to search through mods until I find the one .. sigh.

Where do I look in the CK to see your new dialogue, I'd like to see all the possibilities and conditions.

It's in the quest named "PW_CommentsQuest". All under the "Misc" tab, where there are then three subcategories: Bump, Hello and Idle.

No problem, but that is right. No first person comments from this mod. That might be Sexist Guards. If so, you can turn them off in the Sexist Guards MCM. SLSF Fame Comments can also display first person "thoughts" (as notifications in the upper left of the screen). Those can also be turned off in the SLSF Fame Comments MCM.
