This works well with SLSF comments. They complement each other well. Funny comments from SLSF and derogatory comments from this mod create an atmosphere of realism. Plus, I also have a mod of adoring comments, all together it creates a whole range of attitudes towards the heroine.
Thanks for the mod.

You're welcome. Also, if you set gender preference in the PW MCM to men only, then in this mod female NPCs will instead have comments sympathetic to a female PC, since the female NPCs are no longer target customers. And, over on the SLSF comments side, you can also fine tune a bit with the MCM switch to disable "harsh" comments, if desired.

Been playing around with the next version. It will add a script to block mod comments when the PC is in a dialogue menu. It will also add around 35 new (random) vaginal/anal/blowjob PW 'approach' force greet dialogue lines. Also, I've been playing around with 'first person thoughts'. So, the next version will probably add around 100 such 'thoughts' (notifications in upper left corner of screen), some of which will have relevant animations. They are triggered by things like nearby NPCs and PC arousal levels. I know some don't like any 'first-person' stuff, so you can speak with any priest to make them go away, or confess to the priest that you like being the public whore, in which case they will change in character from "involuntary PW" thoughts to "voluntary PW" thoughts. (See examples of each below.)

For the first person thoughts. If PW ever expand more into NPCs and followers or if you ever want to expand PW comments with more NPC/follower content a third person writing style would probably be easier to work with.

Apropos in the past ran into a content splitting issue with having to write in all first, second, and third person perspective base on player/PC preferences and to account for NPCs

And I think there are some mods out there (sexist guards and baka dialogue) that feature a method to mimic having the player character "speak" self comments

I feel like the second-person and third-person comments are already pretty well covered. Most of the NPC 'Hello' comments in the mod are second-person and most of the NPC "Idle" comments in the mod are third-person. And followers can have all of the second-person comments.

This is certainly an issue. I decided to go with just two personalities for simplicity: 1) a PC who does not want to be the PW, and 2) a PC who does want to be the public whore. That seemed a clear line to draw.  I thought about breaking these down into further categories (e.g., a PC who wants to be the PW because they are a slut vs. a PC who wants to be the PW because they are super-good citizens who want to support the hold), but it didn't seem worth the trouble.

That's a good suggestion. I'll take a look at Sexist Guards and see how it's done in that mod.

Does this mod still work for LE? Since There are scripts since I last downloaded I wanted to check before I install.

I don't have an LE installation to check it on, but I'm 99% sure it will work fine. SLSF Fame Comments has similar scripts, and it runs fine on LE.

Hello @Gristle. do I need to disable "Fame quests" from your other mod ( SLSF Fame Comments )?

You don't need to, but I recommend it. Otherwise, you'll get a complaint letter from the Jarl and a potential bounty for doing things -- like running around naked and having public sex -- that the Jarl presumably wants the PW to do, which wouldn't make sense.  But do turn on the fame quests at some point to try the Markarth exhibitionism fame quest (if you have a female PC). I think its pretty fun, and once you complete it, being the PW in Markarth will be entirely consistent with the fame quest.

If it's just a comment or two, it's most likely because I messed up the conditions on the applicable comment(s). Do you happen to recall the comment(s)? Or even a few words? Also, Version 1.5 fixes a number of issues, including some fine tuning of a number of comment conditions, so I definitely recommend upgrading.

Also, just to confirm, are you also running Sexlab Sexual Fame? That mod has a separate issue where wearing a helmet gives you a naked status.

Running into this issue myself. I think it has something to do with Devious Devices since whenever the character has a device on, even if hidden, you end up getting naked comments. Things along the lines of "Put some clothes on!", "She's showing it all off" etc. Love the mod, jbtw. Both this and SLSF Comments add some nice flavour.

Thanks! I'm generally using a "PCisNaked" global variable set by PW for the naked comments in this mod. That variable is set based on compliance with the PW naked rules set in the PW MCM. Maybe there is an issue with the PW logic that sets this variable. But then again, PW's typically wear a DD collar (or at least mine do, including sometimes post PW status), and I've never seen that device throw off any naked comments.

I could always switch to using the vanilla naked detect system, which just checks for items worn in either the Cuirass (Body) or Clothing (Body) slots, which is what SLSF Fame Comments uses.

This is a bit crude way to implement this but I've had an idea, to copy how baka mods deal with some stuff, mainly player controlled slider in the MCM, for something that as far as I know can't be tracked otherwise because of how SL fame collects this particular one. Namely number of pregnancies resulted from being PW or in general, the slider itself would be unimmersive but could add events and comments off that. Maybe someone tattoos impregnation counter on the player character (though I only know of 2 tally mark tats one is 7 the other is like 28 or something, but there are some other pregnancy related tats), maybe someone approaches specifically for vaginal, some crude comments etc.. Slider would just account for maybe like 1-10 or 1-5 but it would be fun to get some reactions and scenes out of this. It would have an upside of working with all pregnancy mods right off the bat, but I understand if you don't wanna do things this way or if you just don't wanna include this type of content.

I'm not 100% sure what you are suggesting. What would be set by the slider in the MCM?

I've thought about pregnancy-related comments for SLSF Fame Comments, as SLSF can track pregnancy fame. The biggest problem there is that the most popular pregnancy mods don't increment SLSF fame. The second biggest problem is that I don't know of any way to detect if a player is pregnant -- or more to the point -- visibly pregnant. Comments that can't comment on an actual visible pregnancy would be pretty limited -- they would just be comments on the PC being frequently pregnant, yet would have to carefully avoid the subject of whether the PC is currently (visibly) pregnant. The third problem is that, for SLSF Fame Comments at least, being pregnant (or even frequently pregnant) is probably not something the typical Skyrim NPC would see as anything but a joyful occasion, unless it was coupled with Slut fame or Whore fame, but then the comments are going to overlap Slut and Whore comments to a certain extent. Comments might also be different for pregnancies out of wedlock, but the game doesn't provide a good way to track a PC's marriage status. Also, even if the PC is married, it's not clear how an NPC in a new town would know that.

For this mod, you would have a lot of the same issues except, of course, that PW status would definitely color the type of comments arising from pregnancy fame, and this mod actually provides a scheme for married PC status. But this mod doesn't have an MCM. It has some dialogue interactions that can be used to set certain variables, but it's not clear to me how a similar dialogue system could be used for pregnancy fame.

As for tattoos, I don't know how to detect them, other than via the ability of SLSF to assign fame types to tattoo categories. But, SLSF is not a requirement for PW, so I haven't tried to leverage any SLSF fame levels or other SLSF functions in this mod.

Oh I just meant to use slider for players to basically set the multiple pregnancies fame that way, sort of how baka has players set up how they look. Crude way but it would just straight up jump over some of the hoops, doesn't SL fame just have very binary pregnancy fame? I have very rough idea of how pregnancy fame works, I do know it doesn't work with fertility mode I'm pretty sure? But this way would actually have one same issue fame version would have namely not seeing whether player is currently pregnant, I guess Comments could read from the pregnant belly node from slif? If player has pregnancy fame and they see player with big belly they would just assume its pregnancy, whether it is or just mod like fill her up actually doesn't matter since this would be fitting. But that starts to sound as probably too much of a pain for you to do just for one feature. Anyway thanks for engaging me on this, I get that it might be more trouble than it's worth from your perspective.

Ah. Makes a lot of sense. I disabled those rules i.e. Armor/Clothing is allowed and that's why the comments were being made, I guess. But I think this is somewhat problematic then. The character isn't even a PW and is wearing clothes in a fairly new game and is getting these comments because of personal preference on the PW naked rules.

Actually, I didn't even realize the "nudity required" MCM setting allowed you to set "None". I thought this was just a choice between full and partial. Clearly that is a problem since I'm using the PW "PCisNaked" global variable to detect nudity but it really just means the PC is in compliance with nudity rules, which could mean fully clothed.  I'll replace these conditions with vanilla dialogue conditions to detect nudity in the next update.

I get comments in solstheim although I never served there.

What kind of comments? Current PW in hold comments? Prior PW in hold comments? Current public whore in another hold comments? Prior PW in another hold comments? Naked comments? These all have there own conditions, and some of them have issues with using the global variables that PW provides.

If it is current PW in hold comments, or prior PW in hold comments, the issue is that the main PW script appears to only update PW status when you enter one of the following PW cities/towns: (Dawnstar, Falkreath, Markarth, Morthal, Riften, Solitude, Whiterun, Windhelm, Winterhold). NOTE: No Raven Rock.

This means that if you leave a city/town where you are PW, the relevant PW global variables hold the old PW status until you reach another city/town tracked by PW. The easiest way to address this would be to add single condition to the entire comments quest so that no comments are delivered outside of the nine locations tracked by PW, which means your PC will only get mod comments in a location where PW status has been properly updated. The downside of this is that you lose the naked comments in other towns and settlements, and you lose the "famous PW" comments in other towns and settlements, but it would make all of the other mod comments work exactly as intended.

I think I'll go with that approach in the next version. I'm also going to remove mod comments from Dibellan priestesses. The comments just don't sound right coming from them. I'm also going to condition a few more of the comments on low relationship rank - ones that don't sound right coming from friends and lovers.

It's probably because you have your PW MCM set to allow a clothed PW. If so, you can set to require some level of nudity in the PW MCM to fix. I'll fix this bug in the next version.

Thanks. I'll fix in the next version. Just got a new PC and I'm trying to switch my entire modlist over to "AE" on the new PC and it's taking a while.

Version 1.7 is up. Should work much better when you are in locations outside of the nine locations tracked by PW. Also, I recommend continuing to use PW version 1.2.4.
