Lol it's suprisely hilarious how there is one person so obsesed in instigating a conflict between free mods and paid mods.

 

The important thing here is Capcom has declared the war against mods (free or paid ones, all of them). They're the real enemy, but someone rather to praise them and licking their balls saying how exciting are Cammy's physics.

So let me get this straight... if they didn't put out paid mods then they wouldn't have to worry about people pirating them? Apart from the fact that the mods do not have DRM, it is only enough that some of those who buy the mod start publishing it, but those who pay for the mods do not even think of that (obviously you do not have to be stupid to upload it to Nexusmods or official modding pages that obviously they are going to be deleted for uploading someone else's work)

Okay. Now we have playable ada (nexus) and ashley nude mod (here). I am using both now and so far doing fine.
Now, to playable ashley or ada (nude) mod we need either playable ashley mod or ada nude mod. Which is easier to make ?

So your response is another accusation and a claim that I never made. Nothing to the affect of everything else included in the last post. No more defenses? no more facts? Ok. I guess we are actually done. I would have even taken the smallest claim like "it pushes modders to try harder" "It promotes more direct interactions with modders and their patrons" But no. Just more bs from you. How funny. Its clear you have no arguement, no defense, all you have is "its hard" and claiming i don't speak english. you clearly understand me AND my posts you just have nothing. We aren't talking about all games and media. We are talking about paywalling mods stop trying to hard to change the subject to my english or something else its not going to work.

In my opinion, modders are free to do whatever they want with the mods they've created using their precious time. If you don't think it's worth, simply don't buy them, simple.
You said it yourself that modding is hard for anyone but at least they took the time to learn and make one unlike you that's just here bitching about how other people should act. At least the person you're replying too had experience modding other games, what about you then? If you were a modder for other games and your stuffs are good AND free, at least you have some sort of leverage to your own arguement ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ShinyRoseMods actually posted in this thread and thanked those who are supporting their hard work on making the mod. It's available on their Patreon https://www.patreon.com/shinyrosemods

 

There's also a funny post on the Patreon outing the names of the people who stole the mod and re-uploaded... Patreon billing is at the end of each month though so you might want to wait until April 1st so you get access to whole month of modding.

I suspect a lot of Ashely and Ada mods to be coveted and locked behind Patreon especially since they are being removed by Capcom. On another note, I wouldn't have issues supporting some of the RE modders for a few months to come, but I find it difficult to actually see any work or previews without shelling out money first. Discoverability on Patreon is also lacking imo. Anyway, If anyone has recommendations on who I should check out I'd appreciated it.

If Capcom is removing vids on youtube, I won't be supporting them any more,. Street Fighter had became ugly steroid freaks fighter since SFIV, I never bought them even for $10.

But so far it's just been a small amount of youtube videos showcasing mods... which a lot of companies do- I know Nintendo was having videos of Fire Emblem Engage mods taken down. If they really didn't want people modding their game they could just straight up disable mods like WB did with Multiversus.
