A: 5 minutes is nothing. An in-game day is defined as 840 seconds. A pregnancy, by default settings, takes 6-9 in-game days. Pregnancy sprites are shown halfway through the pregnancy, so at the earliest after about 45 minutes.

 

B: That screenshot tells me you are using Original Sexbound. No support is given for that one anymore, so I can't help you there.

EDIT: Keep in mind that supported mods heavily changed between Sexbound and Sexbound Reborn. So please follow the instructions in the mod description properly.

Install the mod properly. You have a folder in a folder, so nothing will work.

 

You have a stray "humanoid" folder that does nothing.

 

Remove "starbound-sexbound-latest.pak"

Remove "Lustbound_Base.pak"

Get the right, updated version of "TeratophiliaScenes.pak". It's the version that starts with "SxB_"

Get the "SBR Aphrodite's Bow Patch"

 

Also, the Yoru Sex Factory is known to break Sexbound, even since the old version. It is known to break sextalk and defeat. You might want to remove that one too.

So I've made the Kemono Heat patch as closely to what I know as I can, but it still doesn't seem to be working. Do you think you could tell me what I did wrong, and how I can make it work properly?

This .pak file is placed in the mods folder for Starbound, with a priority of 9999.
I am fairly illiterate when it comes to code, even relatively simple like this, so a .pak would be preferred, but I can try to do it myself with instructions.

"humanoid" and "pov" folders are likely broken mods. Move them to their own folder (Mods / <insert any name here> / artwork/pov and Mods / <insert any name here> / humanoid) for them to be loaded by the game.

Otherwise, the concept of PoV is simple: It will only work if body files are present for both races involved. By default, it does not include Yoru, only Human and Floran. More supports are available to add PoV Artwork to the mod.

If you wish to make your own, simply follow the art examples included with the mod, the PoV mod does not need patches or code to add new supports, only art.

Not sure if this is how the new version is intended to work but...

I was using Teratophilia. When set "useDefaultDialog" to true in the sextalk config file, monster  entities (e.g. Gleap) will start to sextalk using the default dialog file, which never happened in the previous version of SBR. The previous version still use the default file for modded species that does not have their own sextalk dialog but the monsters stay silent.

Also not sure if this is due to layering issues, but please see the attached image below.

(Also, would it be possible to provide an example patch file for patch files (and where to place them) for modded species? Regardless, thank you all for the continuous support of the mod!)

Gleaps are pretty wide, you just can't tell how wide when a partner is in front of them...

As for the dialogue, yeah, i've tried enabling that and had the same result. The former feature of removing default dialog for monsters is now a "patch fodder" so it doesn't do anything even if i try to add "entityType : [monster]".

Uh... Not sure about increasing fertility, maybe somehow attaching the "fertility enhancer" pill to them at all times? Not the super one, that's a 100% chance.

And to make males able to be pregnant, IIRC, you have to edit the sub-gender list, and make one simply called "male", all the same as normal, but enable "canOvulate". I think that should do it. For JUST one species, you'd add "canOvulate" to the species patch, that defines the characteristics of the male/female genders for that species. A bit of complicated stuff similar to the "sxbUseHeat" struggle above.

Welp, found another problem. Now with sergal support (or whole race mod i dunno)

Get pregnant from sergal and after giving birth I has a invisible sergal kid. And an error flooded the log every time kid spotted around.

Now kid is grow up, but error still persist. The only way to notice him is when he's talking.

 

Race support itself, pregnancy and dialogue staff work as expected, except this moment

Why is the stuff in a folder named "contents"?

This makes the game now look for a file called "/contents/species/komono.species", instead of "/species/kemono.species" to patch - which naturally will not exist.

This feature work the same on existing and new characters. It's a timer that ticks on every player entity.

Made a patch for various races which in my opinion should use heat. For someone who don't understand how

It is not a .pak, so if you want another race in:

go to: ...mods\Heat-enabler\species\ 

copy one of the files (it doesn't matter which one) and rename it to race you liking

xxxx.species.patch (xxx - name of race)

Heat enabler.zip

Oh and don't forget to unZip this thing before tossing it in Mods directory

No. Heat is an alternative mechanic to the normal arousal debuffs. If they show up, it isn't working.
