You either need to slap a T2 Addon on furniture to have support for 3 actors, or most SxB-only stuff usually comes with 3-actor support. (Note that nodes created by shooting people with Aphrodite's Bow or created through defeat, refered to as "transformation nodes", do NOT support three actors.) Then you just need 3 players or get/make 2 NPCs horny at the same time for them to join the same node, then you join it too (or are there first) and boom - threesome. nvm i got it, thank u
GhostOfThieves Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Hey so I just got this mod and I have none others installed. Not sure if I did anything wrong but I can't find Lustia. Is there any bugs I maybe missed? No NPCs even with support are interacting with sexable furniture.

Going off of a clean install of just Sexbound Reborn - there are two different vending machines you can craft. The "[ATC] Sextoy Vending Machine" and the "Sextoy Presentoir". The latter is for old Lustbound related stuff, and where you can craft the "One Way Ticket to Lustia". As for NPCs, they interact with furniture once they are horny. By default settings, this happens between 3-7 in-game days. (Only counting time during which they are actively loaded, meaning essentially on-screen.)
GhostOfThieves Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Gotcha! I'll give it a shot when I boot up again (fingers crossed). Thanks a lot!!!

I also wasn't able to get the pop up for the age verification. Is there a specific app I can use to adjust the settings or does Notepad work?

Notepad works for the config files, you just need to always ensure you keep valid JSON syntax. The age verification popup is a setting that can be turned on, useful for servers, but is off by default. And I said 3-7 days. Varies per entity. You can, however, use /admin and /entityeval status.resource("arousal") on an NPC to check it's current arousal value.
roclefrara@matra.site Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Do any of the races have heat enabled by default? Also, last i played i had a problem with player cycles not being persistent across deaths - is this something that was/can be adressed? I didnt see it in the changelogs.

SxB-Reborn has its own arousal status that controls interactions, If you are using a modded race you may need a patch. The list is found here. There may be an incompatible mod or another issue however I would recommend using the submod Aphordities bow to check whether the NPC can interact.

To actually answer your questions - whatever the previous post attempted - no, no races have heat enabled by default. SBR will only ever cover the vanilla races for both organizational and technical reasons, and to my knowledge no other race support has yet been updated to use any kind of new SBR features - except for the Neki, which have partial use of features and will get updated more once the next version of SBR is out with some more fixed and adjustments. In the meantime, somewhere further up in this here discussion thread someone posted a "mod" whose sole purpose it is to enable the heat mechanic for a variety of modded races for you. Might be worth checking out. As for your second question - I assume you mean that the heat and/or ovulation cycle effects are removed upon death and respawning. Which is to be expected, as they count as temporary effect and everything is reset upon death. This is intentional. I would even go and expand on this mechanic as per in-game lore and remove pregnancies on death too - but I feel people would be very upset if I did and I was so far too lazy to actually implement that properly. Tl;dr effects being reset on death is intentional and will not be "fixed". It wouldn't make sense otherwise and is a simple case of "if you don't want to be negatively effected by it, maybe just take care to not die."
angelorose343 Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 No idea how I need to fix this cause I haven't changed anything but I come back after a while and it keeps crashing. starbound.log.1

One of your mods, and it's a Steam one cause it loads before Sexbound, completely messes up/erases the core game's "player.config". EDIT: Actually, in fact there is only one Steam mod that loads before Sexbound. And that is "QuickbarMini". And that one shouldn't do any such thing, so you might actually have fucked up source files. Try validating the game's files. Edited July 3, 2024 by Erina Sugino 1

Not particulary fun if you ask me, but i can accept it. Edit: I should mention that this was a issue because im using Sexbound Defeat and that mod is... hopelessy inconsistent about perventing your death and instead turning you into a sex object. That defeat is a hot mess is absolutely known. As we say, "every copy of defeat is personalized". There are plans to completely rework the mod later down the line though. 1

Is there a command that lets me set the NPC arousal to max so they'll interact with stuff?

You can use the "debug" tools, or rather mods such as the eros bow. As far as i remember, if you hit the ground, it creates an AOE effect that maxes the arousal.
Xujints Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Hello all, first time poster here. Had a question for the creator regarding the Pregnant plugin file that just seemed to have bricked both mine and a friends save somehow, not letting us beam down to planets. A fresh install of file worked just fine, but when we tried adding in exceptions and additions regarding compatablity for Avalis, it broke. May I please ask how exactly the format was meant to work, as it was not entirely clear within the document itself, such as how the brackets work, and how to add custom races in by name. As for the log, which I know someone would ask for it, this is what we kept seeing

As for the log, which I know someone would ask for it, this is what we kept seeing Bricked the entire planet? That shouldn't... Well, I guess the pregnancy config is loaded on entities aswell and if everything explodes the world instance would probably not like that... All the config files, just most any other non-image piece of data in Starbound, is JSON. So you should probably read up on JSON syntax, and maybe use some handy online validator tools. When doing that, however, make sure to use "JSON5" validators, as otherwise they will just scream at you since JSON usually does not support comments. As for how to reference races - that'S their internal name. On how to fully check what that is you'd need to look into the mod that adds it (which for Steam mods it its own arduous process), but is usuall just the races name as one work with no capital latters. So the "Avali" would be "avali".
Xujints Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Seems another mod was also potentially bricking planets, but my friend and I were going through all possibilities. This was just another common error that kept cropping up between use. "avali": [ ] seems to be right, but I suppose the next question would be how to have multiple compatability for a race. would I need multiple lines of the avali, or just one and fill the brackets with race names? The way I read it is that the qoute says who doe sthe impregnating, and the brackets is for the target. But it never hurts to double check and ask. I don't usually poke around in other peoples code and work mostly in unity and the like, so the syntax sometimes has me stumped.

JSON is world's most uniformly used data format. If you have actually worked with a proper engine like Unity, you should have certainly come across it before. Or atleast recognize data formats from your coding experience. The compatibleSpecies table is an object/indexed list of String -> array of Strings pairs.
Xujints Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Ya know, the worst part about being called out on that is it shows just how much/how little i remember from my time learning at Uni. Pretty much only ever had me working in C+ and C++ and almost never worked in arrays, strangely enough. Thanks for the help in any case, and good luck with your endeavors. Cheers ^.^
Hahaidontknow00001111 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 The npc wouldn't have sex when i use the table, the issue happened to sexbound too but fixed with rl_bettercrew but in Sexbound reborn nothing happen. I read the starbound.log and find out those line after i interact with a table: [12:56:25.939] [Error] [string "/scripts/sexbound/override/common/arousal.lua..."]:15: attempt to index a nil value (local 'parent') [12:56:26.010] [Error] [string "/scripts/sexbound/override/npc.lua"]:30: attempt to index a nil value (field 'sb_npc') [12:56:33.976] [Info] Loaded module Main [12:58:25.763] [Error] [string "/scripts/sexbound/override/npc.lua"]:42: attempt to index a nil value (field 'sb_npc') Well, i checked there's no mod conflict because there's only Sexbound reborn in the file mods. ( i checked before using rl_bettercrew).

By default settings it takes 3-7 in-game days for an NPC to become horny and interact with a sexnode. 3-7 in-game days equals to 42 - 98 minutes of real time, during which the NPC needs to be loaded at all times. If it gets unloaded at any time, because you walk too far away or leave the planet, this timer is paused. Since you only have base Sexbound installed, this is the only way to ever interact with NPCs.

You copy the entire code of the heat status effect, but replace every instance of "sexbound_aroused_heat" with "sexbound_aroused_strong" I did exactly that and It still doesn't seem to work unfortunately
