And the BOAMA 2.1 you shared earlier.

This should have the Edelgard Outfit AND the ss8088 changes, it's all thicc (because why the heck not lol).

These 4 merged in romfs should make everything work, am I correct? Or am I missing something?

yep, should have all that, only thing is the combined version youre linking will also point every(?) female outfit/class in the game to the msn0df/cel0af bundles, so thats the option if you don't want to mess with the one special outfit in the boutique and just want them all nude always.

If you want them to have all their normal outfit / class outfit options, but have the ability to swap them to nude using the edelgard outfit at your leisure, then you'd want the (basic) version of BOAN.

But I think all the emblems would have their normal outfits and you wouldn't be able to change that - you/someone would need to make xml edits to the assettable of the BOAN (basic) to switch the gal emblems to nude. Pretty sure that's the one permutation of that that hasn't been published.

If you do that edit, be sure to repost it :D

edit - but yes, so long as you're writing the BOAN mod over the BOAMO mod, and then the body mods over that(not sure if that order matters), everything should be working.

Ah, a fellow of culture :) That should all work fine and as you say, just be sure to install the "Battle Outfits and Nude Addon" after BOAMO if you're installing them into the same folder (should overwrite 3 files). On emu at least you can also just install them in their default folders in your mods directory and they should work as intended, although I haven't actually tested if this works the same on switch.

@ropscolic@twisteddedication Please don't worry about credit for the nude meshes on my account, it doesn't really matter to me. Ultimately they were made just so I'd have them and I'm happy to share.

EDIT: Late again lol

@ropscolic @DistinctVariable BOAMA has 2 folders, the romfs and a New Catalog Addition directory. I only need the romfs on switch right?

romfs also does not have a titleid.

Edit

I found the titleid 0100A6301214E000 so i added everything in atmosphere/contents/0100A6301214E000/romfs

It gave me the 3 replacement files warning after installing BOAMO first and that's it.

I copied BONA first, then CharacterNudeAlt v3.2 Thicc and then EmblemNudeAlt v1.2 Thicc (i think that are the latest versions). It didn't ask to overwrite anything else.

@ropscolic @DistinctVariable loads a while (about 1 minute) and then it crashes before the game starts :( what did I do wrong? There is something wrong with the layeredFS else it would crash right away.

Fire Emblem Enrage V 2.0.0

I installed BOAMO to Atmosphere/contents/0100A6301214E000/romfs, then did an overwrite of 3 files with BONA, then CharacterNudeAlt v3.2 Thicc and EmblemNudeAlt v1.2 Thicc on CFW 16.0.3, Atmosphere 1.5.4 (all the latest versions).

@Mistahx2 I think you would need the new catalogue folder. I know for emulator you want the romfs & new catalogue folders inside another folder eg. contents\0100A6301214E000\Battle Outfits and More Outfits 2.1.0\romfs so I would try putting both the romfs and catalogue folder into a new folder within contents\0100A6301214E000\. Fyi when you install the models doesn't matter, just that the BONA files overwrite the BOAMO files.

this is the full file structure to the fe_assets directories Nintendo Switch\SD Card\atmosphere\contents\0100A6301214E000\romfs\Data\StreamingAssets\aa\Switch

Where should I drop the catalogue file? And better yet, which catalogue file XD

Posted (edited)

I reckon you need the "new catalogue additions" folder from the BOAMO 2.1.0 mod. I haven't been able to test any of this on my switch and kinda assumed it worked the same way but here's a few things to try:

  1.  put both the romfs and catalogue folder into another folder and leave that folder in contents\0100A6301214E000\.
  2.  Edit: Just realised you could also try just putting the catalogue folder in the \0100A6301214E000\ folder alongside your romfs folder.
  3.  put the "new catalogue additions" folder in the sd:/engage/mods/Battle Outfits and More Outfits Catalog/(toml files here) (taken from the instructions on the BOAMO page)
  4.  try the BOAMO 2.0.1 based files below, you'll have some missing features from v2.1.0 but all the nudity and stuff is the same and it was from when the BOAMO mod was simpler and didn't have the new catalogue folder. If you end up using this I would delete the romfs and new catalogue folders you already have and use the romfs from this file. Then install the nude models you have over the top of it (Character and Emblem), this rar includes both the BOAMO 2.0.1 AND the appropriate nude swap files so don't install the BONA rar over it.

Battle Outfits and Nude 2.0.1 (combined).rar

Sorry for the trouble with this, I really wish I could test this properly and give some more concrete advice but give this stuff a try and please let me know if/how it works.

Damn, I'm surprised option 4 didn't work at least :( Is your game updated to v2.0.0 (with the Fell Xenologue)? Have you had any other mods running succesfully? If you package up everything in your \0100A6301214E000\ directory (in a rar or something, shouldn't be too big ~50MB or so, if it's size is in GBs or something then just cancel it and let me know) and send it to me I can take a look at the structure for any issues. I think it's gonna need testing methodically and I can't do it on my end but I'd start with

  • Move the mod files you have already installed elsewhere/delete them and check that the game boots up with no mods, even if it used to best to check it still does.
  • Install just the BOAMO 2.1.0 mod files (option 2 from my previous post is probably your best bet) and check if it runs.

I'll keep checking on the thread and I'll help as best I can to get this all working for you.

Has anyone else that plays on switch got this running successfully that might be able to offer first hand advice?

EDIT: This is all resolved and working now, once the 2.0.0 update & DLCs were working properly it worked as expected. Phew.

I tried 2.1.0 and 2.0.1, both crashed with all above steps :(

Edit

It's an issue with my install, I have no idea what's causing it but it looks like a v2.0 problem

i dont mind posting my assettable for yall but if i post anything it will be with the item and shopxmls due to it needing boan and if i post it keep in mind all female characters in the game are full nude ALL female characters including the engaged forms you will also need to download and install cobalt and get that working first and you can take my assettable shop and item xmls and paste them over playable bosses (i deleted all but the females) dragon and unique classes etc i dont remember all the mods in it but also keep in mind i finiggled with a few things so dont ask me about anything that seems out of place cause its what i wanted in MY game and thats if i post it because again its a compilation of a bunch of mainstream mods and you also need cobalt installed and working

the only annoyance ill have to deal with is redoing the sizes of characters I changed if I do download that assetable, but it would be worth it just to have a non dragon Tiki engage before battle.

I was using the Nude Mod v1.25 and replaced all skin textures in the bundle with the 8k version.

Unfortunately, after doing that my game started crashing frequently. Then I figured out it was because those textures had eaten up all of my GPU memory.

And I checked the HD texture, it seems most of the texture space was wasted by the already-removed clothes. So I edited the UV layout of the model(give breasts and genital area much larger space), repainted the vagina & anus and baked textures to the new nude model.

Now the model has much clearer details but still uses relatively small textures (which uses only 1/16 memory of the 8k texture). Here is my mod and hope it can help someone with the same game crashing problem.

edited the uv layout ... well, brilliant! I don't understand how that is done but definitely understand why that makes tons of sense.

awesome job on the retextures too, honestly i didn't put nearly as much effort into it as i could have.

this is a major upgrade

EDIT

@KihoOh welp I did edit your albedo texture to my liking and plugged it into your mod thinking it would work fine, but apparently the UV mapping data is embedded somewhere in the albedo mesh? when i put it in it did not map to the mesh correctly at all, despite being the same scale and everything as your albedo :/ maybe i just messed up somehow that doesn't really make sense to me haha

anyway here is the edited albedo - it contains the same nipples i used originally but they've kept a good bit more of their definition here, it seems you lost some of it when scaling up/down. also contains some edits to the nether regions that seemed to be better to me, but again i havent been able to see it in action

feel free to apply it to your UV fixing if you care to!

@ropscolic - Best place to start is probably:  https://youtu.be/nIoXOplUvAw - it's a 16 part tutorial series that covers a lot of the basics of using blender and imo is presented in a pretty clear way. I think a lot of the mesh editing, general program use and best practices is covered in the first few videos, and this is likely all you'll need, but it continues into some basic animation, shading, geomtery nodes etc if you are interested. Imo it is a little ponderous at points but there's a lot of good stuff here and it's worth the time.

If you have any specific questions after this I'd be happy to try and help but there's too much to cover and I'd probably miss a lot of important stuff if I tried to explain it from the outset. Blender is a crazy versatile program that can do so much stuff I've never even touched and I'm not especially proficient with it.

Once you're happy with using blender @MerlinusTent has a good guide on p27 with links to the gamebanana guide, between them well explains how to import/export the meshes for editing/injection into the .bundles:

Hope this helps and have fun!

New Outfit Edit Pack!

Here's a bunch more edits I made to the outfits in the game, in a similar style as the previous pack but this time mostly focused on the casual outfits, although there are some more battle outfits in here too. 23 edits total this time all in the one pack.

hey would you mind doing the same to these bundles you see i made my own model but im having trouble with applying your textures to them if you could remap and redo these textures uvs i would be grateful they use the lower nipples so you would have to resize these i guess and they also use the nipple protrusion by distinctvariable

i completely reworked tiki into the very first dagger based emblem and when engaged she gives the devine claw a high end dagger and her breath as engage weapons her anims were changed to kamuis because i couldnt find any good dagger anims that worked for tiki even the engaged dagger anims didnt work but it works relatively well even if its a sword anim i even eqquipped her with her own dagger that she also gives when engaged bugs include enemy tikis claw attack doesnt happen but the damage still does and the range indicators for her breath attacks are bugged but with a liittle editing mostly work now and when the engaged cutscene happens it looks like shes also doing the engaging animation overlapping the playable character dunno if i can fix it. no other bugs that ive seen but still got a long way to go. when not using the nude mod she gives a copy of her amiibo outfit created by deathchaos as an engaged outfit
