Hentai Pregnancy Childbirth Plugin

Can you make it compatible with Hentai Creatures - http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/430-hentai-creatures/ so the infant is a miniature creature instead of a Nord child?  Example of what's happening now is a Hentai Troll fathering a child on a female NPC produces a Nord child.  Should have been a miniature Henta Troll instead.

It seems that Hearthfire support will require a bit more swearing and tears. I have the children registered as adoptable, but there are no dialogue options to adopt them (presumably because I have to make them, d'oh) and I'm hesitant to have them come out of the womb already adopted. That seems likely to cause problems. So once I figure out the dialogue system I'll hopefully be able to get the Hearthfire support up and running.

No plans on my end. I am way out of my element as a scripter/coder and frankly it's amazing that what I already have works. I rather dread the thought of more debugging at this point.

It's not so much that I want to keep birth and adoption separate -- I'm just not sure what will happen if I don't. Since Hearthfire by default limits you to two adopted children, what happens if you give birth to three? Or what happens if Esbern and Delphine end up parents after a night of passionate romance? Since all children are built from the same base, their child would see you as his parent. 

 

So yeah, it's the potential complications that are the factor here. 

 

Though you do raise a good point. If I'm going to be working on dialogue for adoption anyway, I might as well look into whether I can incorporate renaming functions while I'm at it.

I suggest you to add more dialogue options for children

if their fathers or mothers is in this factions.

Imperial officer's kids (especially general Tulius)

Blades' kids

Thieves Guild members' kids

Winterhold wizards' kids

bandits' kids

vampires' kids

The kids may say "I'll join your factions in the future" "I'll be the next jarl" "vampric blood is inside me"

Some (like bandit) will be hard as Pregnancy does not remember temporary (non named) NPCs very well.  It often does not even remember their race, I found. You get a "Pregnant by " with no name in HP, so not any real data coming across for the kid one to use.

 

You could still get, say, Elesif Kids if it was done right to remember that, though.

Now this mod can cause some repopulation if used along with Random Sex, or with SexLabs Lover's Comfort when it is set for NPCs to have sex with other aroused NPCs when the PC wakes up after sleeping.

 

If at some point the kids grow to become full adults then you will have a whole new lot of NPCs walking around, maybe with some kind of AI or making them guards, merchants or so once the kids reach some age. For this to work you may need to figure a way to turn kids into full grown NPCs.

 

Anyway, just thinking out loud, keep up with the good work

I use the dance rave mod to relocate them - you can teleport them to your location regardless of cellchanges with that. The ai i have no clue - simple multible follower mod can add sandbox ai to followers on runtime, but i have nfc how to mess around with scripting like that.

Oddly, this is the one area that Bethesda actually covered for us via adoption and adoption interaction with houses....yet it hasn't, oddly, been tied into the Pregnancy mods.

 

 

There is surprisingly little documentation on how to create adoptable children. The consensus seems to be that simply adding them to the appropriate faction should work, but if it doesn't then there's just a great big question mark. 

 

This would also be why all current development on my mod has stopped for the foreseeable future. I can only progress if I have something to learn from, and there is precious little of that. I've run into a similar problem with the MCM options I was trying to add -- in that case it's especially infuriating because I do have something to study and yet nothing I try actually replicates the results. 

 

That being said, as always my source code is included with each update. If someone else who has a better grasp of Papyrus than I do wants to take over, that's fine with me as long as they let me know.

I didn't find a description of what effect cum inflation actually has and i read the threat to this point (nice how the mod has grown).

So, does it lessen the chance of following acts or highen it?

At that, has "Aroused" influence or does being married? Would be a good plugin with mcm-switch. Especially the married part having fertility-boost. I don't know, but i think that npc-marriages are registered the same way as the player. So a boost would get married npc more kids.

I use this mode now for around 40 game-hours on a new character.

My setting are chance of pregnancy 5%, chance of child 100% and cum inflation at 50%.

If the whole child adoption system is a problem how about going the other way. So for now make it a baby birth plugin. You bear a baby (object ) that you need to take care of and stuff. This could open a way to progress for now.

That was discussed earlier in the thread. I don't have the resources to add babies, and childcare is both outside the scope of the plugin and a lot of extra programming that I'd have to figure out how to do, with no guarantee of actually achieving it.

edit:i still getting ctd and timer wont move at all it stay at 0hrs, soulgembirth works perfectly for me but not this anyone facing the problem?

Are you using a pregnancy-compatible body mesh? The fact that it crashes when labor starts suggests that it's trying to load something it can't find. This is, of course, assuming that you have the pregnancy set to only last one day. If you have the pregnancy set to last more than one day, then I'd be willing to bet it's crashing because it can't modify the pregnant woman's body mesh. 

 

It is also possible that one of your other plugins is conflicting with Hentai Pregnancy. I seem to recall reading of a few other mods that call hook into some of the same SexLab functions that HP does. You may need to disable your plugins one by one until you figure out which one is conflicting. Note that you'll have to start a new game to see the results, as Skyrim "saves" scripts into your save file -- even if you delete a mod, its scripts will still be present in your current save. 

 

And, of course, I need to know where you're currently putting the Childbirth plugin in your load order. It should be below Hentai Pregnancy.

I know the limit can be changed with mods. That's not really the problem. It's just one example of the general weirdness of Skyrim and how changing one thing can have unexpected outcomes.

I did pretty clearly state the current limitations of this mod on the first page. You did read that, right? I never pretended this mod was anything other than what it is. You would also know, if you had read the first page, that I have been trying to fix the problem for quite some time.

can i replace the child spawn with a weapon or something?

Well, the main Hentai Pregnancy mod has a secondary plugin for having pregnancies produce soulgems. If you know some modding, you could probably tweak it to make random weapons instead.

The reason the mother/father spawn is confused is due to the code in HPSoulGemBirthQuest psc.  This function call:

		SpawnChild(mother, father)

doesn't agree with the function header:

Function SpawnChild(Actor Father, Actor Mother)

Just reverse the parameters on one of the two lines.

 

 

To get the race selection option in MCM to work, add this to HPSoulGemBirthConfig psc:

(more changes will be needed to the other file to finish implementing this but it's a step in getting the interface to work)

Soul Gem Birth is not compatible? Crap! I've had it installed for a while now, and my girl's pregnant as hell. Should I expect trouble? Like 2 kids, one from each mod? Or CTD upon childbirth? Anyone ever successfully uninstall SGB while pregnant?
