this hentai pregnancy isn't work for me to born new birth like nothing use player is no impregnancy i didn't understand i have prefect born child from procreation but hentai isn't work i have about 12 times yet not get to new birth like nothing i tries

Posted

The father was some Hired Thug that I had killed a while ago. Also, yeah the child always seems to spawn next to my male character, and not the mother.

Hmmm...I wonder if the father being dead is part of the problem. I've got some free time coming up so I'll be sure to test a variety of different situations. I should probably branch out into testing NPC parents too.

Okay, if I'm understanding you correctly your character can't get pregnant/impregnate? My mod actually doesn't handle that -- that would be the main Hentai Pregnancy mod -- but I'll try to help anyway. Do you have the latest version of Hentai Pregnancy installed? Have you set the pregnancy chance in the MCM where you want it? Are you sure your character is having vaginal sex?

You might need to hop over to the Hentai Pregnancy thread if none of that was any help. On the other hand, if you are having trouble with my childbirth plugin, I'll need more details before I can try to troubleshoot your problem.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.

First, remember that there may be complications when running both Procreation and this mod. I'm trying to fix these problems whenever they arise but it takes a lot of trial and error each time (and I do not have much time to work with), so please be patient with me.

Second, it sounds like you're experiencing the same bug as Bongomonkeys -- a female player character doesn't spawn the children like she should. He's not using Procreation, so that does help narrow things down a bit. I don't have a fix for you yet, but I hope to do a serious amount of research and playtesting tomorrow in hopes of getting a bugfix out soon.

Just to check, you are getting the "Character gave birth to a healthy child!" message, right? This is different from the "Character is no longer pregnant" message that Hentai Pregnancy sends.

Also, thanks for the links, those of you that posted them. Regarding the baby model, someone posted a link to one earlier in the thread from Fallout 3. If I can convert it over I will probably use that one, though I'll give the others a look too. Thanks also for the Spellcrafting link, between that and the Rename spell mod I can probably get something figured out if I unpack the BSA files.

If this spawning issue proves to be unmanageable I may have to go the "baby in inventory" route.

Add some Debug.Notification lines to your script to ensure that you are getting ANY race set in your code and to display what the resulting child has for a race at the end of the script.

...You know, I totally forgot I could do that. The base NPCs are labeled (for instance, the boy Nord is "Son 1 (Nord)") but the extra notifications should help me get a better idea of what's going wrong there.

About the PC pregnancy: my character gave birth, but her child was nowhere to be seen at first, then. Then her daughter have appeared from somewhere. I'm not sure how this happened - might be i just moved to another cell and then back, or maybe saved and loaded...

Posted

Done some testing and I've managed to confirm a few things. The child does spawn with the father, at least if you are in the same cell as the father (I have not tested births when the mother and father are in different cells yet) -- I tested this with the Argonian at the Winking Skeever in Solitude. When it was time to give birth, my Dark Elf character was upstairs on the opposite side of the building from him, in a private room. After the birth, I came downstairs to find my new (Nord) son sitting on a bench near the Argonian.

Which leads into my second confirmation: no matter what race the parents are, the script is always treating them as custom races and defaulting to Nord (the new debug notifications I added were extremely helpful). The script is correctly picking a parent to inherit from, it's just ignoring or simply not receiving the information it's supposed to get.

Ok, that means the base you are using must be a Nord. Have you tried changing the race after "birth"?

Not exactly. I have different child bases for each race, and the script is supposed to pick the base depending on the parent race.

The script is written to default to the Nord child base if it doesn't recognize the parent race. It was supposed to provide compatibility with custom races, but it seems the script isn't recognizing any races at all.

I'm sure it's simply a matter of telling the script what to look for -- the Creation Kit wiki says the GetRace function returns a string editorID, but telling the script to look for a particular string doesn't seem to work.

At any rate, I did fix the child spawning issue. For some reason telling it to spawn at the father instead of the mother now causes it to spawn at the mother. No idea why it does this, as it doesn't seem to confuse the mother or father anywhere else in the code. Reverse psychology at work, I guess.

I'll upload that fix once I'm sure it or my tinkering with the other issue hasn't broken anything.

Latest version is up! Child races are now live, and should work as intended. Also included is the fix for the child spawning issue, so hopefully all the female Dragonborn will no longer have to scour the countryside for their wayward newborns.

Can you give me more details? Are you using a previous version or the latest update? Are you playing a male or female? Where was the other parent at the time of birth? Did it display the "Character has given birth to a healthy child" message? Are you using any other pregnancy or child mods?

Just telling me it doesn't work and then asking me why isn't going to help me figure out your problem.

Thank you for this mod, it works great! :) My PCs child had his features (PC Breton, NPC Nord.). So the features thing worked, even though I haven't yet tried yesterday's update.

Looking forward to this being immersed properly into Hearthfire!

I was able to confirm that the children's features are not being saved upon closing the game and reloading your save. Fixing this will probably be my next big project. As such, since the fix I have in mind will require use of the MCM you guys can probably expect the MCM-related features to show up too. Maybe even built-in child naming and the baby alternate birth option, if I can bundle everything together.

So! That being said, this puts a lot on my plate -- most of which I still have to learn how to do! Don't expect any updates aside from fixes for any mod-breaking bugs that may arise until I get this stuff done.

I appreciate ya'll's continued support and will keep trying to make this mod the best it can be!

I can also confirm that the feature's aren't being saved, but the new presets help with the diversity. The is a new CoTS rebuild out (not from Jitek) that adds child elf races, and redoes all the children. It looks really good, but is in French. May be worth looking at, but I wouldn't make it for elf resources. It's in the adult downloads section.

I've been hesitant to use CoTS for a couple of reasons, one of which is that I suspect Xvision is more widely used, and the other is that CoTS veers a bit more into loli territory than I'm really comfortable working with. I also hesitate to add any more dependencies than I already have.

At any rate, my next playthrough/testing is going to be without XVision so I can get a better handle on how the mod looks without it. It will also make testing easier when I attempt to bring over some of Kids of Skyrim's resources.

In the meantime, using Better Males Younger Faces in conjunction with any number of female face mods will help the non-human races look a bit younger.

Yeah, I just learned that today. Probably won't fix it, sorry. There just aren't enough variables to keep kids from looking like clones without adding race as a factor.

The features of on the children in my game are being saved.  I have two non-nord children born to same race parents and after several saves and reloads, they haven't changed.  One is Argonian and the other is Khajiit.  I haven't tried to mix races yet and see the result, but I will here shortly.  One other note, I do not use Xvision.
