How does this work for Fallout 4 / AAF as they are pinned/highlighted ? Will they also need to host their files on the site instead of a download link that goes to their discord ?

As it says, there are exceptions for existing posts. It would be much preferred if they didn't link to Discord for download. Discord is a horrible platform for file distribution, but up to AAF at this point, as they are basically grandfathered in.

 

This is mainly aimed at the massive number of Sims 4 uploaders who point their download pages to a locked Patreon post for the download, which requires the user to join their Patreon, free tier or otherwise.

Fair, I don't much about the Sims 4 side of the site. It does seem like a dirty trick of them just using the site as an advertising-only platform, good addition to the rules.

Any plans to bring back commas for the view and download numbers for mods? I remember them being around before there was that attack/corruption last year.

 

It's not really a huge deal. It would just be nice to see 1,000,000 again instead of 1000000.

 

Other than that, I don't notice anything that could need fixing. Keep up the good work! 👍

It would be helpful to have an option in the club that prevents users from sending join requests if they have 0 posts or if their account is new. Practically since the beginning of January, not a week goes by without a new user or one with 0 posts sending a join request to the club.

 

As a side note, there was one day when as many as 5 new accounts wanted to join the club.

I originally thought it was just for a single mod, but I've been finding some Skyrim Legendary Edition (I haven't noticed it happen with a Special Edition mod yet if that helps) mod pages will say "We could not locate the item you are trying to view." when I try to load into them while signed in, meaning I can't download them. But the weird thing is that when I load the pages while not signed in then I can see the pages just fine (but still can't download the mods because they require being signed in to download). Is this some kind of new member time gating or something? If so that's fine I just wanted to know if it was something I just had to wait out or if something odd was breaking on my end.

If you need an example: I can't load into the page for Kimy's "Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0" at all but I can load into her other mod pages just fine, even the Deviously Cursed Loot Special Edition page.

Maybe in your load order that you’re not showing, there’s some plugin with a pretty problematic name (?), I don’t know?

perhaps it's a catch file bug? try clearing your web browser history to see if that fixes it.

Can we perharps get a two Blog posts per day limit? It's getting absolutly out of hand again. It's like two people fight over who can post the most in one day

This, please!! Blogs disappear and loose engagement too quickly. I would also suggest a way of highlighting popular blogs or something like that

Hm, wouldn't go that far . This could possibly push new bloggers down or make one's who's readers don't engage in likes or commenting lose some motivation. Just a two Blog entry's per day limit would already increase the enjoyment of browing them too 🤔

I would add to this that an old post shouldn't appear among the updated blogs every single time just because I corrected spelling errors or replaced deleted images. It sucks that my old episodes crowd out the new posts simply because I’m making updates. At the same time, I don’t want to drag out the updates for months again.

I think need a “New Blogs” and an “Update Blogs” category on the main page.
