I've completed the World - Locations [Interior] section so far and noticed that the Black Gold Mine - A Dungeon for the Meticulous Player requires Goblins CC. I didn't download it since it was in the "not recommended" section. Also, Goblins required by the Unique Border Gates Fixes - Goblins which I just skipped and there is a very tempting "Goblins" section full of sex mods that I may want to try... so should I install the Goblins CC? Essentially, if you want that quest mod, you'll have to turn it back on, and also probably rerun the unofficial patch thing for CC stuff so it adds the Goblin patch iirc. There might be some others I missed but so far I haven't even gotten a single playthrough to the point of encountering the goblins stuff as I've been fighting with other issues that forced me to start over on a new save every few days, so I cannot tell you if there's more before that point that has goblins-related patches.

Alright, so, I've been trying really hard to test both of those, but somehow I cannot fast travel anymore since making a new save to test this out. Just to make sure I rebuilt all the DynDOLOD stuff just in case, but no matter what loading screens due to fast travel do not ever end, nor do they switch loading screen image, which is the benchmark I use to know if the loading screen will end, as when it doesn't switch image or model but keeps changing tips and time, it usually never actually loads into the game. I also crashed randomly in Falkreath again during just as I was approaching Valdr at the Moss Mother Cave for the quest to rescue him. As a result of my character spawning in Falkreath, and my inability to fast travel using tmm 1 to be able to jump anywhere that's either a Dwemer dungeon or directly onto the blue palace, I can't test either of these for the moment. I'll probably have to start over yet again and this time specify either solitude or markarth as spawn points so I can directly look into them. On the other hand, crashing as I approached Valdr's quest which I managed to do just fine no crash in my previous run makes me wonder if something else broke due to either ADM - AE or the Zeroed SoS files. On the other other hand, you aren't getting crashes AFAIK and there definitely is no dwemer stuff anywhere near Valdr's quest, so idk what could be doing this. Nor why fast traveling no longer works. Perhaps after testing Dwemer locations and the Blue Palace, if the crashiness is gone from both, we'll be have just this one issue to concentrate on. Although, for the Valdr issue, while I haven't attempted going there a second time just to confirm the crash is due to going there, I'm thinking it might be something related to the mix of using this new SoS bodyslide file along with the old ones? I kind of which I could figure out how you do it yourself so I don't have to rely on yours, but as I stated previously, for instance Sons of Skyrim, I have exactly 0 outfit groups with them in for 3BA, despite having downloaded all the bodyslide files, and so on for a few other sets that you seemingly have both M and F bodyslide files generated on your end. Well I decided to start fresh because I also messed up with installing mods. I didn't enable them one by one which caused some options to be missing in the installation windows. Once I'm done, I'll let you know if any of the mods have updates for Goblins. Also, are there any other tricky steps I should watch out for?

The lighting depends on which lighting mod your using, the lighting set by the modder in case of a mod and your reshade preset. Caves and ruins are generally extremely dark for me - so torch or lantern needed, with the exception of Embershard Mine for some reason and 1 or 2 other caves (These exceptions are most likely due to a conflict in my loadorder - not serious enough for me to fuss over it). Not sure why that'd happen, but I'm going back in until I get a Dwemer dungeon to explore, then we'll see if their crashiness is fixed or not. EDIT: Final update for tonight: I crashed in the Dwemer location, however I think it is just a random crash as opposed to the previous constant crashing, as I got about 90% of the way through a long third of the dungeon before the crash happened. I think at this stage I can sort of claim the issue of Dwemer locations and Blue Palace crashes to be fixed, unless tomorrow when I next play I encounter more of these. I am still getting the following issues: - occasional random crashes - very very frequent "fast travel/carriage endless loading screen" issue, which doesn't happen if I just... walk tho the destination. I'm not quite sure why or what is causing that though. The reason I'm thinking the Dwemer location crash is fixed despite crashing in one is that previously, it would have crashed about 5-6 times in the time it took to get 1, which seems to imply to me that the original issue is resolved, and we're now stuck with random crashes (possibly bodyslide related? not too sure though cause aside from the occasional corpse, which wasn't what I was looking at at the time, there really isn't much that could need bodyslide stuff.) So far googling on the second issue only says "remove all your mods and start over" which I'd like to avoid if at all possible, and for the former it's obviously a mod issue but I can't tell for sure which one's doing it. In case you have already completed the xLodgen/Texgen/Dyndolod process. What fixed it for me was using Dyndolod NG and its fix for large references. Just an FYI.

They are 'zeroed' for 'OBody' and have morphs so they can be used by different body presets or changes to the body (like pregnancy). 2. Too lazy to open youtube and search for 'bodyslide tutorial'? For now I'm leaving the old ones that aren't fully overwritten along with the supplementary ones I made to be loaded before so that they're overwritten by yours in the measure that you've done them. Issues of note so far: - Your Zeroed Ashlander seems to be for the Ash Pilgrim set not the Ashlander set? - Your Zeroed Fluted Armor only covers male but I seem to have the files for a female bodyslide as well? - Your Zeroed Emlock Armor only covers female but I seem to have the files for a male bodyslide as well? Just an FYI. @TFor2Well, that should be hopefully fixed then, I spent the last of last night regenerating it entirely because the roads didn't show up in the map, so hopefully whatever I did there will have fixed the missing roads and paths from the map as well as fixed the issue. I'm pretty sure we are using DynDOLOD NG's dll mod which is supposed to include that large ref. fix by default if what I read in the DynDOLOD_SSE.ini is to be believed. I am not asking for myself, I just thought that 'beginner's' likely wonder where all those 'zeroed' nifs come from and how/why they they are made. The BodySlide tutorial you embedded does not address those questions at all and, frankly, neither does the OBody nexus page. If the presumption is that these preclude the need to run BodySlide, a new user might want to know how to add different armors for OBody. - peace

That's why for the most part, none of the tools are explained outside of a link to a guide that explains MO2 and other basic modding tools, as well as only showing the important things that must be done to make it work: BethINI, DynDOLOD, Mark ESL with Wrye Bash, Generate Animations with FNIS Nemesis Pandora, etc. Of course you can, and should be encouraged to learn to use the tools so you can do it all yourself someday, but this isn't about teaching you how to do all of those things, it's all about "this is how you get Aylis' modded Skyrim setup". It's for beginners in the sense that the goal of the guide is that a complete beginner should be able to just go down the list one by one, and download, install, activate each mod one by one, and follow the instructions, download the supplementary files at the end, and finally, when it's done, have essentially the same (or very close to the same) setup as Aylis has, which should work as Aylis curated it and tested it well enough that there shouldn't be much, if any, issues with regards to compatibility and such. 1

On a related subject: Zeroed Nude Test seems to be missing shibari and straightjacket from ZAZ 8.0+ HDT, it's including the other ZAZ items, not sure if that's because they're not used in Sisterhood so we don't generate bodyslides for them or if they're genuinely missed, on the other hand it does say it's unfinished, but it seems to imply only the male part is unfinished. (A little annoying how ZAZ's Bodyslide files aren't in a group and don't even have ZAZ somewhere in the name in Bodyslide so they're relatively easy to miss when making your own group manually.) We're getting there for bodyslides though, only missing finishing nude, clothing and then armor, gigadeux and travelling mage. 🎉 Only things left from both my own bodyslide attempts and the old ones are my whole HIMBO package -- which ideally I'll get rid of Soon cause it's a pain to have all male bodyslides in one single package -- Fishing Gear, SMP Clothing, the aforementioned missing ZAZ items, and the old Nudes, which seems to be missing a few things actually over the WIP one, for most of them they seem to be from old removed mods but I found a few that seem to be also genuinely missing as they're not losing file conflicts but the mods they should be for does still exist in the list so I'm not quite sure what's up there: - /meshes/IDBT/Pierce/Smilepierce, seems to be a piercing from IDT's piercings, but it seems to be missing from even the IDT mod so perhaps it's from an old version? - /meshes/ColdSun/Pantheon/NPCs/Vayne/body, contains Vayne's nude body, presumably, we seem to have Vayne's mod too still, but presumably we do not need these anymore as she'd be covered by OBody now, perhaps? - KSWigsHDT, not sure that we have the wigs ones though - /meshes/actors/character/Mannequin for the female mannequin bodies, presumably that's also covered by OBody now? - /meshes/armor/Mu3B/3BBBCollisionArmor which are a bunch of CBBE 3BA files that it's somehow winning the conflict on, might be an idea to hide them if the bodyslides don't need to cover them anymore? - /meshes/AveED/Jewelry/Reyda/Earrings_(Race)_1.nif from Reyda's Jewelry Box by Ave, it's winning the conflict for those, despite the new Zeroed Jewelry file being below it, meaning these ones would be missing from the predone Zeroed Jewelry set? There are a few others in the old Nude, but they seem to be from mods we're no longer using, such as /meshes/Kziitd/semen or /meshes/DarkRavage/Immersive Monster Girls/Sexy Hagraven.

IDT doesn't ring a bell. Vayne got a completely new version and also got her own body. We don't use wigs... Mannequins: afaik yes. The collision files are there to prevent clipping with some of the available hairstyles. Reyda i have to recheck (don't know the specifics). Thats why i'm redoing the files. Reducing bloat and removing unneeded files.
Kusoneko Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Alright, the crashing in Dwemer locations is pretty much gone, the forgotten meshes were the main issue, followed by having to reinstall FSMP because idk why it was causing crashes but somehow stopped once reinstalled? It's weird. Now, I still get crashes, but this time, it's mentioning specifically "BSEffectShaderProperty" which is coincidentally mentioned in Simplicity of Snow's mod page as an issue in their "How to Patch" section: Quote .Nifs with BSTriShape/NiTriShape nodes with no BSLightingShaderProperty will crash and will need a patch. Delete these BSTriShape/NiTriShape nodes since they are invisible anyways. Which tells me the issue and the fix but not the mod from which said .nif come from. Would be nice and useful if the crashlog at least mentioned which .nif it was looking at when it crashed, then I could try to find it in MO2's Data tab and identify which mod provides a nif with this issue in. And unfortunately, the fast travel/carriage endless loading screens is not gone. :'c No idea what's causing this one at all though since the game just... seems to still be working fine but the loading screens just never end, I can even move the 3D models around and the tips change and all that, but even if I wait like 30 minutes it's still not loaded, and that's on an M.2 NVMe SSD, so there's really no reason for that besides the game having an issue with something but not crashing somehow and not loading either? DynDOLOD doesn't seem to be the issue this time, the map isn't fucky nor is it missing roads, so this time I think I've got that setup pretty much completed, so the issue has to be elsewhere.

I meant IDY, since that's the thing the mod author uses for those. Speaking of, I just looked at the version I have installed and there seems to be a Smilepierce_GND.nif, no textures though, and definitely has bodyslide data for it. Many of us here have our own high functioning modlists independent of your guides, but building and maintaining a private collection of modlists isn't nearly as difficult as publishing a work in progress like this with all the attendant pressures of unexpected conflicts and constant updates to address. Tempers can understandably get short. Happy curating! 1

Or the Zeroed Vanilla Armor Replacers (M and F) is also fine to use? (I have the previous Zeroed files downloaded in my PC)

And you dont need different armors for Obody, you just need armors compatibhle with your body mod - 3Ba / HIMBO for example. Zeroed sliders ensure that when Obody does it's thing iy's body adjustments don't get added on top of an allready maxed out bodyslide preset for example. For example if you have a bodyslide built with breast size at 40% and Obody then assigns a preset with a breast size of 60% - you get 100% in-game on npc instead of 60% as per the preset assigned by obody. The thing is that this build isn't for beginners at all but because it has Beginner in the title, it attracts all sorts of newbies who have no idea what they are getting into. They can spend weeks of their spare time crashing their game when all they really wanted was a decent looking Skyrim with sex mods (this is LL). Now, if they stick it out long enough, they're going to find a great looking Skyrim with a small number of semi-functional sex mods - at least until the entire community gets behind SLP+. Maybe next year. Okay, I get it and that's not a terrible thing at all but it would not hurt anyone to be even a little bit more up front about what's required, what to expect and why some things are done the way they are. Troubleshooting and adding/removing mods is so much easier with this tool. You forgot something? Just install it and drag'n'drop it into the right position. Loadorder messed up? Just use drag'n'drop again. It got a slight learning curve (thats where the tutorial video come in). But once you got used to it, this tool is very very helpful. Also any errors showing up in the bottom window of MO2 can be ignored. Those have always been false positives. Try installing something via FOMOD and every option you don't use falsely shows up as an error. Like rechecking animations or working on vampires. P.S. In regard to being blunt. I'm from Germany and we don't circle around a subject for hours but get straight to the point.
