I remember at somepoint you putting on here that you were going to add at somepoint to the mod so that the gradual body changes worked on BUNP 3BBB body type so that the changes didnt just happen all at once when bimbo fied.

 

I havent installed the latested version yet as Im still going through my current playthrough has this been added in the latest update or is it still something in the works.

Not trying to pressure just wondering whether I made it up in my head or not.

I'm pretty sure something like that exists already in the current build of the mod. Specifically the newer toggelable option to have your character's weight value scale with your curse percentage.

If you kill Elivan but don't get cured, does the trigger stay in place? I know the letters stop, but do they work if you reread them? Do NPCs still use the trigger phrase if you told them what it is?

When I played BoS (in an older version) several months ago, I was able to kill this NPC quite easily as a succubus... by activating "Deadly Drain."

You're practically forced to have sex in one sequence, so I pulled the "emergency brake" here.

 

I reported about this incident in this thread, and the mod author pointed out that this death was virtually ignored by the city guards.

Whether this "hole" in the game mechanics still exists, I can't say... I'm currently preparing a new loadout (on Skyrim AE) - BoS isn't scheduled for installation (and extensive testing) until next month.

 

Overall, I can say for myself that, from my roleplay perspective, I can't meaningfully incorporate the Hypno Quest... I'm always traveling with a group of (equal) companions - they would react to such "wanderings" of their companion.

(In contrast, the bimbofication of "me" is actually my companions' own plan.)

Using my current character? She's so over-leveled and consequently overpowered that she can one-shot him with any spell or weapon - a consequence of using static leveling and getting stuck in SLTR for a while.

 

I really just want to know if the trigger and letters still work, and if NPCs still use the trigger after he's dead.

Yes, that guy. You absolutely can kill him, you just get one single attempt before he stops you.

 

And just to prove it, I rushed the hypno quest until he summons the player, completed the stage, and cut him in half. I even soul-trapped him because he's low-level and I happened to have an empty gem in my pocket.

Oh yeah, that's a Skyrim issue. Sometimes if a book has only 1 line going over to the next page it doesn't let you turn it over.

And the note re-triggering when you read it again is deliberate- you saw the hypno trigger, you're doing what it says!

Yep, this is in the mod now, that morphs apply gradually and can work for any body type. But for BUNP you might need to set up some files yourself, becuase by default the files are for CBBE/3Ba.

The morphs are stored in a .JSON file, listed by node name|morph size. So for BUNP you'll need to change the node names in the JSON from CBBE names to whatever BUNP's nodes are called.

No, you totally can do all those things. The only protection he has is to say your trigger and pause you before you kill him. You have to hit him hard and fast before he can, but apart from that there's no restrictions. 

Killing him is a completely valid way to resolve the quest. You might get arrested for murder, sure. But he won't be sending you any more letters once you chop his head off.

 

I think the issue you had was that the succubus drain you used wasn't detected as a murder by the city guards, meaning you basically assassinated him stealthily.

I wouldn't call the success of my succubus method a "problem" - I deliberately chose a method that worked for me... a mod author can't possibly consider the abundance of existing mods and their game mechanics.

Ultimately, it's my own decision whether or not to set this drain to automatic mode before encountering the "hypnotic NPC."

 

The fact that it also works the "conventional" way (aka "cut off the head") is indeed new to me.

 

Several questions arise for me here:

a) Is the small time window available ultimately sufficient for a spell to work?

(I have a poison spell through mods that kills instantly - even the Ebony Warrior dies instantly... yes, quite exaggerated)

b) What would happen with a poison spell that kills so slowly - that the NPC still has time to say the "trigger word" - but then dies?

c) Does an equivalent scenario occur - if I use a poisoned weapon instead of a poison spell?

 

"Poisoning" is a game mechanic that is used quite rarely by players, NPCs, or monsters (against them)... at least that's my personal impression.

Nothing is unkillable, especially if you setup succubus right, I have accidentally killed a few Divines because they decided to fuck me before I could start a quest, I may have also forgot I still had drain enabled.

But,

~ (target NPC) kill ~ if it goes into bleedout stomp on it with something heavy most 2-h power attacks will work, or just set violens decapitations to 100% heads'a'rollin everywhere.

 

Mind playing a succubus often the challenge is remembering to disable drain, when I am bored I wipe out whole towns and cities with 1 or 2 mass gangbangs.

Essential tag is the only thing that can save most, unless you mod the essential tag out of game.

a) Yes. IIRC, he has to forcegreet you to use the trigger.

b) He'll still die; you'll just be forced to watch as his health drops to zero.

c) Yes. I'm pretty sure even spider poison will do the job if you hit him hard or get some sneak damage with it. A poisoned weapon is the easiest method.

 

I agree people overlook poison. Alchemy is insanely overpowered if you know your ingredients. e.g.: Canis Root, Imp Stool, and Mora Tapinella = Paralysis + Lingering health damage.

Body morph is not working, all the bimbo's still have the default body and the bimbo body preview for pc does not morph, I tried the option to rebuuild morphs for npc's but is still not working, They are wearing the correct clothes but their body shape is not correct.

Hi Han,

A couple questions to help assist you in finding a fix.

1. What body type are you using BHUNP or a CBBE version (as a suggestion I recommend CBBE/3BA)

2. Have you used Body Slide to build your morphs (ie; selected a outfit/body type, refreshed refreshed groups, opened and selected to groups you want to apply to that body, selected a preset (if you are using one), modified on sliders (optional), selected Build then lastly ticked both the boxes bottom left and selected "Batch Build" (there maybe further steps you will get options depending on mods, or just use suggested, personally I like to make sure all meshes are ticked 3BA or 3BA/SMP).

 

If you have done the above steps you should be good with the morphs applying to you and NPC's. As I assume you have all the required Mods.

How to i adapt the "3ba meshes" from BoS, I have suitable templates. Also the problem is that all fem npc are in the default body that i have set. But they are not going to the bimbofied version for the bimbos and neither for me when i preview bimbo in pc.

Not entirely sure, as I have never had to. Though thinking on it I would prolly rebuild with no groups, then reselect groups and build again. The first step would take no time at all, the second well playing tick the box is boring but end result is fun... As for the NPC's you are ensuring Building Morphs? I use different meshes (without using Unique) but doing so means batch building for my PC and then for NPC's (Although in many ways I don't care what the NPC's look like or wear just so long as I can fuck them...)

Ok thats cool I think the nodes have the same names so I should be ok when it gets to the time when I need to update great mod as normal. Im loving your quest ideas mostly as it doesnt comletely break gameplay for once.

How do you get rid of the default wig if you aren't using yps? I can't see anything in the mod menu for it and the new makeover section only has yps hair colour, so i'm stuck being unable to change the hair style without it overlapping with the default wig.
