No, install it with Vortex or your mod manager. It's a script, it should not go in the MCM folder.

Are there any known incompatibilities which would break crawling?

 

I'm on the VIP quest and seems like my character doesn't want to crawl - just keeps walking. I've tried forcing crawl through the MCM and with the 'CQF _CS_Main StartCrawling Player' command.  In either case, the only thing that happens is my camera snaps from 3rd to 1st person but no crawling, still walking. Opening/closing the pipboy doesn't help.

 

edit: figured it out. this mod was breaking it - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21914. specifically the "More Girly Animation" optional file. the base file seems to work fine with CS's crawl.

If you install multiple mods which alter actor animations, you have to pay attention to what order they're in via corresponding plugin order if archived, or through file overwrites if loose. Also remember that loose files always take priority over archived files.

I'm aware - that wasn't the issue. I extracted all BA2's during troubleshooting for consistency, including those from other walk mods I swapped in and out for testing. It was only the walkforward.hkx files from the particular optional I referenced which interacted with CS crawling in a disruptive way. The walkforward files from other mods, installed as loose files in the same relative location, did not break crawling.

 

So yeah I think there's just something wack with those particular hkx files.

This is the most tedious task ever. The engine does not work well with the physics of the game objects at all..

Hmm. Do you think I should upload a kind of stage guide for those who got stuck doing some quest? So they can skip stages it with console commands in case there is a bug in the engine or bug in the mod itself? I'm seriously thinking about it, but I'm not sure.

Then one at a time, download each file listed in the second sticky post.

Or use a downgrader, or this one, then block Steam updates.

Followed the AAF manual, did the next gen downgrade, triple checked everything and I can't start a new game due to infinite black loading screen. Is there any commonly known problem with any of the recommended mods?

Can you spesifically tell us where the infinite black loading screen is ? AFTER you press the NEW GAME ? or do you use other start me up redux mod?

[if you have infinite black loading screen after new game, press any keys multiple time. It's FO4 vanilla bug]

Hey peeps,

 

I tried searching this thread for anyone that had similar issue and I couldn't find an answer, so here goes:

 

I've just begun "The Truce" after leaving Cortega, Jared gave my character a fusion core and I met up with Murphy at the whorehouse, game then directs me to head to another raider camp in the south east... but the issue comes when I head approx a minute in that direction---the game then soft locks, music still plays but otherwise the game is completely unresponsive.

 

Only way to proceed is to forcibly shut it down and restart, I try going in different roundabout directions toward the raider base but the game will continue to freeze and IDK why. :(

I have a repeating bug where the games CTDs the first time in the whore house when the boss initiates an AAF scene. First I thought it was because I updated the mod so I started a new game, but again I could play the mod up to the same point and had another CTD. Any idea how to fix this, can I skip this specific scene somehow?

Yes. While I haven't had many problems with this mod in terms of manually advancing stages, it would be helpful in the off chance that it is required

In the Bomb quest, after the Bombs leave you, the Raiders come and Sex Scene last for a really long time, but should be only be about 40 sec. long. Eventually they leave and the bombs come back  and just sit there and nothing happens, I can't move or use the PitBoy but I can save and leave the game.

So I reloaded but the Raider scene is just not ending. And I can't access AAF Menü to stop the scene.

I have not installed this Milking outfit thing, but I am not sure if that is enough for this Bug. Am I just not waiting long enough?

 

Edit: Ok I waited 20 Minutes for the Bomb Brothers to do something after they come back, but nothing happend, so I did the player control cheat because I thought maybe I need to talk to them, but they just give the same responses as any NPC-Raider.

 

These are the setstages of that scene. The last setstage must be done when the Bombs are very close to you, as they will start a dialogue. 

 

  The Patrol leaves SetStage _CS_Bomb 185
  The patrol has left SetStage _CS_Bomb 188
  Bombs Brothers Back SetStage _CS_Bomb 190
  Big Bomb kick his scene   SetStage _CS_Bomb 195

Hi. I'm completely new to FO4 modding. Is it normal that the sex scenes only has sfx but no character and npc moaning voice ?  the only moan is when they are finished.
I only install mods that are required and recommend from this mod, including all the dependency and required mod according to this page . I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps to the word.
Also most blowjob seem to be misalignd and have penis on the female chin instead.

Sorry if this is not pertain to yours but I have no idea where to ask. I literally decide to play FO4 again and mod it for the first time to play with this mod. it's phenomenal.

first thing is that you have fun with the game, having said that

 

for sounds 

UAP has a optional part when installing for custom moans (iirc) or you can look on the page you linked in the LoversLabs mod downloads part of the

page it is broken up into sections (gameplay, items, companions, etc.) look in the section labeled Others there is some sounds mods in there,

including the Custom Moans mod (separate from UAP) that should add moans during the acts.

 

for alignment issues it will vary due to the combinations used by player and animation creator.

there are 2 male body replacers (Atomic Muscle and Bodytalk) and 2 female replacers (CBBE and Fusion Girl).

edit - use only 1 male and 1 female replacer at a time, if you try to use both at the same time you will have issues. - end edit

for example if the creator used Bodytalk/Fusion Girl but the player is using Atomic Muscle/CBBE there will be alignment issues.

 

personal suggestion would be to use Bodytalk/Fusion Girl (what i am using now) as those seem to have the least misalignment issues,

but it is your choice on which to use.

I'm on the Scavver quest and Jared doesn't have a dog with him. When he tells me to fuck his dog I get an infinite loading screen.

 

What does it mean if I get a message that the collar has misfired with a pop? When I reload and try again sometimes the player character would explode and be set on fire, I die unless using godmode. There isn't any obvious cause and it's not the usual lethal collar function.

That's Raider Pet's, not my mod.  The mod is marked as very problematic when used with mine. 
Uninstalling doesn't solve it because you will stay forever in a faction where no one attacks you, which goes against the premise of this mod.

Probably, but it is not written with a man as the protagonist. There are also no voices for a nale character.

What do I need to do while whoring in Diamond City to be sent to the Correctional Facility? Will it become an explicit dialogue option at some point during a future quest, or do I need to misbehave to get it? Failing at pickpocket only got my collar exploded.

 

Will the mod eventually provide a backstory for why "Master Medium-Sized Bomb" is, literally, a floating bomb? lol

more for the Correctional Facility will occur during the True Ending (so yes you can miss it as you can choose a different ending),

and there will be more of Medium-Sized's backstory during true ending also.

The mod description mentions that Sim Settlements 2 seems to have problems with AAF. There is a mod here that seems to make AARF recognize SS2 furniture-

Are there any other issues that SS2 has with AAF and/or JB's mods?

 

I'm guessing that the red exclamation mark next to the modname means that it's a serious incompatibility?

SS2 uses far to many resources and causes other mods to be pushed to the back of the processing line, thus, causing them to fail in one way or another. Then's there's quest interference and world edits that muck things up.
Simply don't run SS2 with CS or NR. Saves a LOT of headaches.
