ok if you payed the "Belted" quest i know exactly what bug you hit, and how to fix it.

bug = movement in 1st person mode is right (as far as you can tell), but in 3rd person mode you still move WAY slower than you should.

this bug can also occur with regular devious devices, but it is almost certian to happen during DCW Belted quest.

somewhere during the Belted quest it is not resetting movement speed fully.  the fix is to equip and remove a regular DD restraint dress.

you can just use the "player.additem xx08D90C 1" (xx is devoious devices.esm position in load order) command through the console to

give yourself a dress then equip it (yes you can manipulate the locks to make it super easy to remove). and then remove it and the bug

should be gone.  the item number i quoted above is the exact one i used to get rid of this same bug.

Look at the Plugins section and doble click on Commonwealth Slavers.esp. On the right you will see the hard requierements, all activated.

See what happens if I disable a hard requirement. Orange warning. I will be able to start the game but the mod will not start.

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. The commonwealth slavers.esp is not even in my plugins. That seems to be the issue. I guess this is what KomradeKempf was talking about, Vortex not loading the .esm ...

 

Any suggestions?

 

I just reinstalled Commonwealth Slavers and it's still not in my plugins tab.

Wait... Are you installing the whole Mega folder? 

 

Because you are supposed to download the file inside the Mega folder. the one called version 2.0.6.

 

It is a fomod. I mean, you should get several options when you start to install it.

What I see is a lot of errors related to the bones of a female character -the body-. It could be your character's or that of the other girl, Ivanna.

Make sure you use Zex Skeleton with Archer compatibility enabled - since I see you have the Amputator installed - and make sure nothing is overwriting that skeleton. 

 

Did the CTD happen to you when you were about to start an AAF scene? I see a lot of AAF scripts in there, of the "OnSceneInit" type. 

 

If it's still causing CTD, use the Amputator mcm and put all the arms back on, see if that helps. You can put the amputation back on later.

I think Piper not being there is supposed to happen, as Diamond City is automatically unlocked by you getting there with Gristle.

 

I'm not sure this is an effect of CS, but after doing the true ending, I was later unable to complete Piper's quest Story of the Century (the one where you talk about the PC's time in the vault). The quest is at the "Talk to Piper" stage, but she won't initiate the interview. It is possible to recruit her as a companion though.

 

Another very minor thing I found later in my playthrough: I went back to the Pit, and the music that plays there didn't stop and kept looping long after I had left (stopping it in the MCM did work though).

Piper not being there is the way it is supposed to happen.  IIRC Piper (before she becomes a companion) and Gristle are hostile to each other which means if she is there

they get into a never ending fight as they are both essential.

You know, I probably should've bothered reading the wiki page I linked, because this happens to be a known bug. My bad.

So I did more testing and found out that when you choose to retain marks (1 in the cheats page) after the mod ends the mod adds the marks you didn't have instead of just showing the ones that you had (had 4 at the end of the normal ending after story skip but then it gave me two extra marks that I didn't have). It's a bit annoying roleplay wise, hopefully you can fix this in the next patch.

That was it. For some reason, I had an older version (no fomod) installed.

 

I just installed the correct version, and now I'm going to test it to see if it works now.

That was definitely it. The MCM menu popped up right away.

CTD happens immediately after entering "the porn studio" i guess, the door with a red lamp above in the Cambridge district. Yep, about Amputator, i couldn't get to this point with amputated limbs, im stuck on Corvega "The Weapon" quest, when jared wanted to send me to vault 111. When I came to him, he is walking on his usual spot near the chair and cross, where does he usually sit and when I talk to him, he said one or two lines and the player lost control of movement. After that, nothing happened... Then i decided to reload old save and pass through with arms. On this point, "Porn studio" quest, i have arms and the game crashes immediately after loading the interior of that building.  

 

And now i think i have one assumption about interiors, I didn't make one point in the instructions (Check UAP SC positionData and change location="Round_Table" to location="RoundTable"), because I just didn't find the necessary file and i opened many files contained in name positionData, but i didn't find that line (location="Round_Table") in them and nothing about round tables at all... Can you explain this point in more detail?

Ok, so I just started this mod and I am already unable to progress.

 

I see Murphy and then one Gristle (or something) grabs me and handcuffs me. And then... nothing. I can't move, if I talk to Murhpy he sais this is the start of my new life... but nothing else happens.

 

My game's installation is mostly clean. I'm using the Fusion Girl body and I installed all this mod's hard requirements (and their requirements). Also the Amputator mod and Fuh-so-Doh from the soft reqs. Nothing else.

Reload and try again -before talking to the wounded guy-. Maybe it was bad luck. There is some timing that the mod expects and it's likely that the thing didn't run on time.

Ha! Did you know that there is a scene with the round table just as you enter the studio? A scene that happens between two NPCs. I remember this CTD already happened to someone else and it's related to AAF and the round table. ? 

 

Do you have it updated?  (AAF)

 

How about uninstalling UAP just for a moment and re-enter the studio?

No, I didn't know. It was just a guess, because as far as I know, this is the only point that I did not follow from the instructions. 

I did as you said, turned off the UAP (v2.6.64-1) in Vortex, went in, saved and turned it on again. So far, everything seems to be working, I'm testing further. Thank you for your cooperation! ? About AAF it's (v171-0 beta), i used this guide to install everything...

Yes, me too. But i've had to not use UAP for Commonwealth Slavers and Nuka Ride run as intended. You'd better give a try without UAP and report experience return ;)

Playing this mod now, after completing the first Version a year ago or so. Maybe its just me, but its messing with me, like no mod before. The fear to choose the wrong answer here or path there works very well. Like when someone forgets to reactivate my collar and the opportunity comes up to try to flee. At the first opportunity i decided against it (after several minutes of thinking). Then a second window opened up and i ran to Drumlin Diner, but Wolfgang wasnt very helpful. So i returned to Lindstrom and god was i afraid that he knew. Next the decision to make with the minutemen at "The Threat". Of course i failed it and this will have an impact on the next opportunity. Will i try again to flee or will i be obedient? I dont know man, this is really messing with my mind.

 

On a sidenote, i can confirm that horizon (v1.8 at least) does not allow CS to knock the player out. I died in "The Pit" like 2 times against the Supermutant. As i play with Almost Permadeath (you have a limited amount of lives) i had to win before my lives ran out. And boy, my hands are still shaking from this:

The fight lasts less then 10 seconds (maybe much less, its really fast). You cant escape and one hit on me is almost insta death. But finally beating him feels like an accomplishment. Would be glad if this would gave me an additional mission count ?

Not sure if your interested in starting a new project or not. real life and all is a pain but I had an idea to make a companion mod to your awesome slaver mod. I'm more a writer can't code to save my life but I'm willing to help.  So anyway the concept involves what you've already done and adding Nora spouse companion style mod.  You play as a male as you wake you see your wife is gone, you follow a blood trail out of vault. On the surface you find her shredded vault suit and a patch torn from a raiders armor.  Tracking her down you find she's been enslaved by the raiders at corvega.  You must work with the slavers and earn their trust. Do missions escort the girls. Pimp your own wife in order to reach a LT's rank and be allowed to select your personal slave.  Once you have her then you can turn around and try to destroy the slave ring and all like in first mod.  The depression you get from being the slave in first mod is double as your forced to watch and participate in her degradation abuse and torture.  People with an ntr fetish would like it I believe.  But making a really dark story even darker would appeal to many hard core fans already.  Can have same choices stay as a slaver and build up the gang or tear it all down.  Take over as the brothel owner and pimp out your wife. Anyway just an idea to consider thank you for the mod looking forward to see what else you do.

Just finished the mod a few hours ago and wanted to give a short feedback. I put it in a spoiler to avoid spoilers

I am amazed once again, how good this has been done. At first this mod really makes me nervous all the time. If you sympatizing with your character then youre always in panic of doing something wrong. It feels also like a fever dream, like at least i lost somehow the sense of how much time has passed since leaving vault 111. And the pressure of that ticking collar. You cant do anything other than just stick to your mission. No time to look for any fancy loot or talking to other npcs or going shopping. Just do what the masters ask you to do or more suffering awaits.

Like in my first playthrough i avoided the slavers jet, because the junkie route would stop me to play. I tested it a while ago and it kills something in me to see Noras last bit of personality wiped out. So i had a healthy diet of dog food, dirty water and a radaway here and there. I got addicted anyway through some forced slavers jet, but i know also of the free dose of addictol near the drumlin diner.

 

For me the first and very important positive moment was, when i managed to kill the super mutant in "the pit". I think this was some sort of moment that kept the well hidden flame of rebellion in her heart alive (like gristle would say) to go through anything what was coming after this and took me to the path of the true ending.

While playing the true ending i struggled a bit with my loyality. Like Dwayne turned out to be a nice guy (ok at least for a short time) and i knew that gristle would like to kill him. Would i warn him in his favor or avoid that matter in our conversition in the lab to not cross with gristles plans? I decided to play dumb, as the unknown intruders tried to break in. i dont know it that would have changed anything though. I also admire your work with the camera, like in the scene were nora talks to wounded gristle for example. this presentation makes the scene so much more powerful. Makes me wonder, why the devs of Fo4 didnt use it for the vanilla game. 

 

The true ending washed almost every pain away that my character and a little bit also myself had. I also noticed the places you create and make your story happen in, have something like feeling home. Being it Nuka World for NR or the renovated and under new management Whorehouse of CS. I was asking myself, where i would go after leaving the valley. The buginfested ruins of sanctuary, or diamond city? No the first place i visited was Medium-Sizes new whorehouse. The nice music, the lack of raiders and my only left "living" pal medium-sized made me decide to stay there for a while. (having SKKMobileWorkshop installed made this even more tempting). And some millimeters of hair have grown back already.

I'm not familiar with this mod but it looks enticing. What do you mean by "mental transformation also entails a physical transformation"? Is it somehow integrated into Commonwealth Slavers?

The simple answer is: You must do the minimum amount of missions (default should be 15). And then you will know, what you have to do.

and it has nothing to do with not succeeding in the quest? Once hooked on the jet, is there any way to get rid of the addiction?
