Its actually quite tricky to do, the hard part is getting the right alpha on the diffuse .dds

 

For a first try I guess its not too bad as a proof of concept.

The only method. I have 3 dozen bookmarks in a separate folder on my browser's toolbar for various LL stuff alone. Mostly technical info, files, references, obscure patches, descriptions, requirements to requirements, tools, tips, tricks and tits.

Just another update to the technique, if you use the texture to create the normal map then turn that to a greyscale and use that as an alpha whitemask for the diffuse it gives satisfactory results

That actually seems like a pretty simple solution, I'd just have to expand/copy the pipe shape of the fur lining and then process a bunch of layer of fur.  Then it's just a matter of making a fur texture that is progressively more and more transparent.   I think blender has some built in support for doing shell texturing fur, maybe if I have some time I will look into it, there are some interesting tutorial out there for doing hair and stuff like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B4-E1lpq0o.  Looks like it might pretty easy to make something that looks good with that, the only question then is packing in a way that Skyrim can use.

 

I love the white fur on the jacket by the way, it's got a cool 60's gogo dancer kind of vibe, and still is believable as snowy sabre cat pelt of something.

Not exactly progressive, you need to think that each layer will show more of the texture map so you want the top outmost layer to just show a few spots, this would be the least transparent part of your texture map. The second layer in needs to show a bit more so the transparency in an ideal world would be like 100's of pyramids across the uv map.

 

 

I'm sorry for stealing your idea but its too much fun and a very cool technique I never tried before you  and Tink bought it up.

Alas, nobody has yet come up with a mod that let's you turn cats and scalies into fur coats and lizard skin shoes.

Oh and thanks you so wary much for the detailed information on this technique when (if) I get bored off fucking everything in sight, I will need a distraction, creativity and building stuff keeps me entertained for hours

Cbbe is done with ground models an the armor patch. I just need to do the UBE and bhunp bodyslides and update the heels patch.

 

I did try to do a rinky-dink pink panther version but it was kinda meuh!

 

Do you know I thought of you when I considered making an SMP butt plug tail for each outfit, I kinda like the idea and I still might.

 

Like I told darkwing I know how much of a bitch it is to get all the information in one place to do something so if ya ever wanna make something we can work on it together. I don't pretend to know everything or be any kinda expert but I got quite a lot of knowledge built up through scouring the internet, trial and error and listening to others.

This ones my favorite, the fur looks so good. The jacket is really well suited for the fur texture I really like your previous post too with the red leather detailing on the straps and thigh bands, the added contrast makes the details pop a little more. My dream setup would be fur on the jacket and stockings with flat fabrics for the boots/bikini.

I'll share the cbbe version with you guys tomorow, theres no point me trying to bundle it otnight because after rosè and red I'll cock it up.

 

I've been kinda playing on three fronts between here nexus and the ube discord as I had the ambition to at least once get on the trending top five of nexus but the chance has gone now, once the mod slips off the first few pages its lost, maybe next time I can compete with a someone that tweaks a few sliders and releases a bodyslide preset or converts someone elses work to a different body verses the time I spend making an outfit.

 

I do appreciate you guys support, I guess its just me being greedy.

Pink Bikini (Like a Magenta Pink?) White Fur leggings and Arms, same again with Black Fur, nice colour contrasts simple but sexy.

 

OMG!! Love Butt Plugs, (big reason I avoid sex shops they are a serious money drain...) A decent Plug would be great with the tails remember though, not to make them smp from the plug but a small distance from it (otherwise the tail just looks like a long colourful poop, good for some but it is a rather extreme fetish if you ask me)

 

I was thinking to brainstorm stuff with you, Darkwing, Wut, Raven, Belegost and others you have the grounds here on this thread for a decent test group, as so far peeps here seem to want that good feeling of helping even in a small way with creation, ideas, and most of all open honest fun.

So I'm pretty far off being able to actively work on stuff, I'm currently in the middle of some grad school exams and I'm already a big procrastinator, but I'm down to give some idea/feedback.  I generally like stuff that is pretty grounded in skyrim lore/materials/construction and I'm usually looking for/making stuff to use with mods like YPS immersive fashion's fashion addiction and devious followers and devious devices.  For whatever reason I'm in love with the idea of weaponized impractical fashion and having my characters slowly falling down the rabbit hole of the bimbo aesthetic.  I do love the modern pink bimbo aesthetic in other settings, but when I'm playing skyrim I like it to be as in world as possible, so generally I avoid the pink latex and anime girls (no offense!).

 

In that vein, here are a couple of projects I have going that are still in the idea phase and/or mostly given up on.

 

Bound Heels: I saw this image and it immediately reminded me of the bound weapon spells. The bound weapon spells are a cool bit of lore in the game, and have literally zero representation in kink mods. The general idea would be to have some conventional boot that is enchanted with the ability to summon a bound heel.  From there there are a couple of great use cases for different types of players.  They could be a devious device that entice a practically minded nord adventurer into putting on an otherwise normal pair of boots then then sprout heels at inopportune times (skipping the need for lame hand wavy magic "the boots teleport onto you" exposition that you see in some devious mods).  The same model could be of interest to non-bdsm inclined users as well, who wouldn't love a pair of heels that could turn into functional footwear when you needed them to!

 

I have no idea what the Chinese characters say, but I think the artist has some kind of tickle kink, I'm not really here for that but whatever. I also would envision these more as a skyrim style boot than just anklets and jewelry, but maybe that could be a fun variation as well.

 

 

 

Blinders:  I made this model way WAY back in 2018 but never really followed through with it.  I was inspired by the in game experience of every time I start a new game the immediate jump to console to type "fov 100" or "fov 110" to adjust the field of view.  That got me wondering if there was a way to incorporate that mechanic into a devious device.  To my knowledge no one has ever utilized manipulating fov and I don't think even today the devious device catalogue has a pony-blinder style item.  A big problem with the actual blindfolds in the DD mods is that a blindfold is essentially a game-over screen for actually playing Skyrim, at that point the stuff that Skyrim is actually good at becomes irrelevant and it just becomes a really bad animation player/walking simulator. 

 

This was an effort to develop a blindfold-like item, that would still allow players to go out and experience yet more peril.  You would still be able to play, just with the disadvantage of no peripheral vision.

See this is something I have a real issue with, trying to integrate sexytime stuff into a regular playthrough. "your mod made me a bimbo now I cant get the horn of bunglebounce hornthrower" or whatever he was called. I don't like the way users feel that sexytime stuff shouldn't intefere with a normal playthrough. To me thats kinda the point that its a different experience. But again back to your blinkers. It might be possible to make an image modifier that applies based on a worn keyword that limits the fov but again what is the gameplay mechanic?

 

I don't wish to come across as a Humpfrey but IMO there needs to be something to entice the user to want to use the item. If your just going for looks then thats cool too just as a showcase for the idea btu if you wént it to be gameplay based then it might need fleshing out a bit?
