MangoDice Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Alright, so i've been running this mod for about a week and loved it for the three days or so that it actually worked. I'll admit that editing scripts and things of that nature was easy enough to pick up, but it is still totally new to me. My problem is this: Whenever I try to reinstall/clean the save that I want, the animations will never start, even after i've uninstalled the steps. It gets to the point where he strips the target and crouches down, stopping just at the animation that initiates the sex. I've re-installed sexlab FW on several occasions,including with the new patch! I've run through literally every step given to me and nothing seems to work. The fact that everything works completely fine on a fresh save is what baffles me. It's literally only my saved game that won't seem to work. I can give additional details if needed, but any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Clean save, everything was great at first, creature/human rape works (animation is screwed on some, but that's framework's fault). Then... it just stopped working. No idea why, framework still works, as RP, MM, Submit all works, but defeat simply stopped working. I did not install anything else after defeat. Tried clean up, didn't work. Trying reinstalling, didn't work. No idea why. What version of SexLab are you using? I'm using 1.21. I can assure you everything else works fine. Defeat is the only thing that stopped working completely. This is definitely not the framework's problem. On another note, some creature animations (Dragur doggy, etc) have no animation for the creature. I understand that this is a framework problem and not defeat, but anyone in this thread got any ideas? I've found some more information about this: Defeat is not completely borked. But what I have to do is to exit Skyrim and stop all the scripts. Because once Defeat breaks, it breaks across ALL saves, the rape script doesn't work on any saves. Once you reload skyrim, it works sometimes. Things I've seen so far: - NPC will strip PC, but does not rape. He stands there and laugh. Clean up will break defeat. - Rape will begin and but you sometimes get the HP/stamina bars back on the bottom of the screen. This breaks defeat completely and you will need to restart Skyrim. - Rape inside dungeon has a high chance of breaking defeat, then you'll need to restart Skyrim. - Rape with creature has a high chance of breaking defeat as well. - Once it breaks, it doesn't matter which save you load, it's done. You have to restart.
Tamahoki8360 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Spent an entire morning testing and trying this mod out, and I have to say it's one fantastic mod! I took an NPC companion with me to a basement of a player-mod house. There, I spawned 5 bandit chiefs for the human-human interactions, and 5 draugrs and 5 falmers for the creature-human interactions. For human-only, all the actions and transitions worked very smoothly (using "stop combat," "original" scenario, and "threshold" prerequisite). Goubo's mastery with Skyrim PC-NPC coding really shines here, with a script that juggles 7 different actors. Aggressive NPCs worked as expected by going from PC to companion, utilizing the various settings (threesomes, stripping, etc). For creatures, things worked a little less smoothly. I first had to iron out my own bug of creatures standing over the PC, either idling or humping empty air, and facing the wrong direction. Turns out I had both "Bestaility Animation Pack" and Sex Lab 1.21 installed, when I should only have the latter. 1. Most of the animations worked, except for the Draugr-doggy one (even tried replacing the SexLab files with the corresponding Beastiality Animation Pack animation files, or adding the animations in FNIS_SexLabCreature_Draugr_List.txt, with no luck. Seems to be a SexLab issue). 2. Once the combat rape started, all other aggressive creatures and companion went out of combat and started to idle, so that all aggressive action toward the companion ceased. I thnk it's the current limitation of the mod for creature function -- handling only the PC and 1 aggressive creature for now. 3. Occasionally, aggressive creatures get stuck in weird positions after the act (draugr got stuck in a prone position and could not move from the location) -- made for easy kills. 4. And finally, sometimes rape does not start, and the PC is allowed to get up from knocked-down state (though multiple times of knocked-down eventually led to rape). As for the WIP player hideout, the functions so far all work beautifully, especially the bodybag abduction and imprisonment. With the NPCs at your mercy, I look forward to future updates where you can do anything you want to the NPCs (Zaz seems to have some great ideas). Or, make them do stuff to each other. Or, make creatures do stuff to them. Obviously, with so many functions, I haven't tried out half of them yet. But so far, this mod is an awesome addition to Skyrim!! Thank you, Goubo! To hornyironhelmet: does the same thing happen with a previous save? Try starting a new game, and see if it has the same issues. Incidentally, I had to clean up SexLab to get rid of the Beastiality Animation Pack. For a pre-existing game, try clicking all maintenance functions, then clean system. Then save, quit Skyrim, then remove all SexLab related files. Run FNIS tool, start Skyrim, go into Mod configurations (SkyUI), then exit to allow the game to clear those menus. Once this "clean save" is made, re-introduce the SexLab files, and Defeat (and run FNIS again). Then see if it works. I usually don't let sex run wild in the saves I want to keep, and only use temporary saves when enjoying sex mods. Maybe there was so much action that the script malfunctioned?? To MangoDice: did you change what animations are available? "Toggle Animations" has the entire pool of positions to choose from. "Aggressive animations" choose from the "toggle animations"-selected positions only. If a posiiton is selected in "aggressive" but not in "toggle," then it doesn't work for me. If that's not the issue, I once had a similar problem. However, rebuilding/cleaning and reinstalling SexLab 1.21 (just copied all the files again and overwriting) solved the issue.

If the attacker is interrupted they sometimes just continue humping the air, especially if they are killed and especially if it is an animal. I had it happen with a dragon and it continued the sex animation (I was able to loot the corpse but received no soul from it).

My suggestions for the hideout. 1. Sex acts triggered directly from the cell door. 1a. Rape in cell. (Only a slight chance of resistence) 1b. Release and rape. (A little bigger chance for them to resist) 1c. If they resist they become hostile and you have to subdue them again. 2. The option to enter their cell, or bring them out of their cell with the same chances of rebellious resistence (for doing whatever you like to them). 3. A way to force captives to have sex with one another (in one of their cells, or out in the open) with even higher chance or going hostile. 4. A system to gradually break captives, turning them into a willing (possibly even eager) slave. Maybe even makinging them follower capable and/or able to help you break other slaves (an overseer for your hideout). 5. The ability to capture and keep creatures as well as people (with less posh cells for the critters). 6. A magical morgue that keeps all those dead bodies fresh for the necrophiliacs out there. 7. Besides the magical hideout, having a different hideout for each (vanilla) player house would be cool. (But keep the magical one . . . I like it.) 8. Teleport and trapdoor placement through an item rather than MCM. 9. NO tedious care system . . . I don't want to have to worry about bringing them food or water or whatnot. I't fine as long as they don't need it to survive. 10. A chance that they escape their cells while you are away and you have to subdue them all over again. No escape from the hideout though. Maybe the magical hatch only opens with a magical item, and the house hideouts (if implimented) are key only.

It happens with any save after one breaks, and restarting Skyrim (quitting game) fixes it. I did all the maintenance and uninstalling procedures in-game to test out, but none will fix defeat across ALL saves as long as it breaks even once. I know as long as I quit Skyrim the saves will fix itself so it's a moot point to uninstall and produce a new clean save imo. Basically, if defeat doesn't break, it'll work on any and all saves i've installed defeat in. If it breaks, it'll break on all until I restart Skyrim entirely. Is there some kind of script for Defeat that runs on a global cache?
Demonwise Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I have to agree this mod is quite fantastic. Though I am also having some problems. Mainly, creatures will not rape my character. Once my player gets knocked down then the creatures will just stand around doing nothing. I am using the most recent versions of sexlab, defeat, and fnis. Anyone have any idea. I do have the bestiality rape mod installed but I set the threshold of it to 10% and the defeat threshold to 75% so I wouldnt' think that they would conflict.

I really don't understand what I messed up. I made a new game, re-install carefully several times every requierement (FNIS (generated over and over), Skse, Sexlab, etc...even SkyUI to be sure) but it randomly refuse to work ... I managed to had one or two spider rape my character but then nothing, I guess it was a lucky hit. The problem seems to extend to npc too... I'm knock down, they strip me, then laugh and do nothing. (I'm sure they laugh at me like " Oh fool you thought it was going to work that easy ?") Aaaaah... I really don't know what I messed up with my files but since Sexlab 1.22 and its plugin Defeat 4.0 have been installed, nothing works fine anymore... Even with a new game. Hope it's just some incompatibilities ... If you guys found the origin of this bug please share it !Anyway, thanks for updating you defeat plugin Goubo, I hope I will be able to use it correctly soon !

There is currently no way around this. I tried that with the Giants. Still doesn't show. And I still can't figure out what's wrong with the Draugr. It's the only animation I've found that doesn't work properly. The Draugr stands frozen and backwards. Not that it's a huge deal or a matter for this mod. Just wanted to point out that renaming the files doesn't always seem to work. In fact the only model change that does work for me is the dog and that was another author.

My suggestions for the hideout.... Going along the list of suggestions: How about the option of hiring guards -- similar to the portable Instant Fortress of Kagrenac. The guards can have a regular schedule of torturing/raping the prisoners throughout the day, so anytime when you walk into your hideout, you can find your hired guards having a bit of fun. Also, right now the "prison" looks more like a "house arrest" setup. The cells are rather well furnished, especially the upper level. Maybe create a third level below the normal one for "maximum security," where the prisoners are kept bound and gagged 24/7. Except when they are being used; or maybe even when they are being used. Keep a kennel or stable ready for the prisoners you really hate, like that one particular NPC you just want off the face of Skyrim. Now you can press a button and let the fun begin. Fun for you, of course, not the prisoner... or maybe for the prisoner, eventually. Stockholm Syndrome and all. Maybe if there's a bounty on your head, the guards will notice and take action. When you walk into your hideout, you'll find yourself abducted and thrown into a cell, imprisoned for a set time as entertainment for the guards. Depending on the amount of bounty, you may even be thrown into the maximum security cell... Incidentally, I'm gonna wait to update SexLab and keep using the 1.21, since a lot of mods (especially Xaz's) are not updated/tested yet. Also going to disable creatures for now until more advanced scripts come along. Just look at how far human sex-interactions have come!

I didn't have much time to test it but the creature/human defeat doesn't seem to be working. Tested spiders, falmer, troll, giants and draugr, health thresholds at default but no knock-down or animations or anything. Followed all the requirements so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. If anyone has any idea please do let me know, thanks

I waited about 10 min and there is notification at all.

zeroke107 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 The problem one that cause Creature sex not working, after I test with Giant, Dragon, Draugr or Spider many times, I think problem occured from range between PC and target Creature, not sure which mod (Defeat or Framework) that manage about maximum range that PC and Creature still could initiate Sexual intercourse after player get knock down (for Dragon and Giant, I'm surely setting range is to short due to giant and dragon have bigger model when compare to other creatures) And others problem that I found after use Sexlab defeat 4.0 with Sexlab Framework 1.22, may be still the same problem as others people like Draugr and Giant still don't have Penis during Sex animation but animation work well for Giant, Draugr, Sabre cat, Bear and also get Cum effect too.
