I did upgrade from the old non-beta version a while back but I followed your guide (clean saves then removing defeat* scripts). I'm puzzled because this was working before and it still works if I don't choose the "hard way" option. All I've done to my game in meantime is update amorous adventure and sexlab solutions. --edit-- I killed off two of the four bandits with console and then surrendered and now it works. No idea why... or if this is helpful at all
Averlin Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Something unusual happened in my game. When I was ambushed by Hired Thugs, one would accept my surrender, the others wouldn't. After they killed me, I tested this again several times by reloading and surrendering on purpose; I uninstalled/reinstalled the mod; I changed scenario from No Transition to Original. I even tried multiple forms of being defeated - ran till I was out of stamina and got grabbed, let them stun me with a power attack. Nothing made a difference. So I tested against other groups. What is strange, is that groups of bandits would accept surrender without problems. Everything played out as it should. Group of Thalmor, no problems. It was only the hired thugs who would keep trying to kill me during the animation. This isn't really a problem per se, since now that I know I'm about to be ambushed, I can run to a safe distance and ambush them instead, but, I thought it was so weird I should mention it, in case it's not just me this happens to.

The G key almost never triggers anything, and I have to set bonus chance to 100% in order to get any chance at all for a successful grab (health threshold is set to 40%), which I don't think I've actually been able to do in months. Furasian the stranger here with a slight complication: IT seems the mod is installed properly with the help of our good NMM, this computer unlike my laptop is pretty much clean when it comes to mods and stuff so no save cleanup complications were needed, started a game, and for some reason I am unable to enable the mod. It gives me the option to, gives me the typical 'close the menu and wait a few seconds' prompt, but no progress. Anyone got any suggestions out there?

I have been trying to figure out how to best manage Followers with this mod. More often than not, Followers end up standing and watching my ongoing rape doing nothing. They are treated as friendly by the aggressors until such a time as the PC stands up again. At other times they will not do anything after PC stands back up except follow me around as I try to dispose of the rest of the aggressors (they will not engage in combat nor are they considered a threat to the aggressors). I am using Death Alternative as the trigger point, I have tried using Death Alternative to manage Followers and also ignore them (no difference). I have tried the various available scenarios (Original, All Down, etc.), issue still occurs. I have tried enabling and disabling All Down in NPC vs NPC config, no difference. The best combination so far is Death Alternative to manage Followers (disable Follower Protects Player) and using Original in your mod. I think one of the issues is when the NPC is knocked down before the PC and rape starts before they get up (using All Down in NPC vs NPC). However, having said that, I have tried with All Down enabled and disabled and issue still occurs. I realize there are likely a number of different mods competing for priority where Followers are concerned (I am also using AFT as well), looks like a state for Followers is not set or missed or overwritten in Defeat possibly. Great mod! Enjoying it a lot.

It's a spell effect on the Draugr, I think it's a Skyrim bug, rather than a defeat one, that causes it to appear on your PC. If you want to get rid of it follow these instructions In third person, open the console and enter "player.addspell 000f71d1" - Close the console and notice a slight darkening around your character - Open the console again and enter "player.removespell 000f71d1" - Close the console and your eyes should stop glowing.
Averlin Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Demon - draugr eye is definitely a Skyrim bug and it happens to my characters all the time when they go into a particular dungeon (don't even remember which one). The codes to fix it sometimes have to be entered two or three times to work, so if it doesn't fix your eyes on the first go, just try again. But, since you like it, I guess it isn't really a problem, and no, it won't just go away, so... enjoy? Thanks, Mez, for posting that. I was just looking for it again myself. I should just put it on a sticky note right on my desktop.

I can sometimes get follower rape to trigger when disabling Death Alternative's follower tracking and using all down. However, the first person who rapes a follower is the only one who will rape them further. I'm not sure, but I think one of the things weirding the system out is if there's male and female attackers ready to rape a female follower but Female on Female NPC rape is disabled, because enabling this seems to make it trigger properly every time I tried it (though, again, the same man or woman will continue to rape the same follower). Also, is there any way to make it check for valid rapists for your follower at the end of their scene as well as the beginning of yours? The way it is now, after they finish getting raped, they just kind of stand around leaving the follower on the ground while waiting for the PC's scene to end, like they don't want to be rude and distract the PC's rapist. On another note, is there a particular reason why attackers seem to be capped at 5? Is that because of Sexlab limitations or something?

OH1972 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I updated Defeat, which I am using together with DAYMOL and SD+ and now suddenly, Defeat is all that triggers. More: It sometimes triggers even with lots of health and God Mode activated - my health simply goes down despite God mode and Defeat is triggered. Could the update have changed any settings which now override everything?
