Yeah the free camera seems to work fine, its the hotkey that seems mostly unresponsive in Submit and Werewolves 2.0. They were eventually working if I continued to spam them but Submit had worked perfectly before I installed Werewolf. Unfortunatly updating to Sexlab 1.31 seems to have broken everything lol so I cant even experiment at the moment. The Werewolf mod seemed to make the flaccid to erect work perfectly even with Sexlab Arrousal support but that dam hotkey stayed uncooperative. Thanks for the response, I may be back with more info begging for help. Once again, Submit is great!

About the only thing I can suggest is to make a log file when it's being quirky and post it, see if there is something happening that I can address or not.

Does this work with creatures? Sorry I read the description but it doesn't say.

Yes, with 3 levels of support:

 

1: No creatures, only NPCs

2: 'Sentient' creatures (draugr, falmer, trolls, etc) and NPCs

3: 'Non-sentient' creatures (bears, sabre cats, wolves, etc), sentient creatures, and NPCs

Since Spaceman released his source for Romance, I took a peek at how he handled Thane related stuff, and boy howdy, I was indeed correct in that there was no quick and easy check for that one.  As he gave permission to use portions of the code, I took the base check, trimmed out/renamed stuff to make it relevant to Submit, made a general IsThane() function for checks, and can now use that in the speech modifiers and other such things. 

 

Being a Thane gives a +10 bonus to regular civilian types within the hold(s) in which you are a Thane, and a +5 bonus to the Jarl and guards.

 

This will be bundled into whenever the next update may be, as I'm going to hold off updating until there are some more compelling reasons.

Definately a good idea.

 

I've been playing it for a while now with 22DEC13 2037, keeping an eye on the logs, and as you may have noticed, there is no annoying log attached to this post, because so far there is no reason for one!

 

 

I'm going to disable logging now, delete my old saves, start a new game, and this time, my character will not be named "ExpendableTestChar", because this is a stable build, and i can't wait to get back to just playing for a while.

 

Of course, i'll turn logging back on if i encounter anything odd, and come and pester you with the results if i find anything. But right now, there's no need, and it feels good.

Hi, and first : nice job, really good mod !

The results are amazing, and making the game much more immersive !!! I hated being killed - reload earlier save... Plus the raping thing, tested it a few hours, is quite interesting ^^

 

I'm new to the forum, discovered it a few days ago as i was looking for alternative death mods, the one i tested are buggy or not supporting MCM (No death mod, death alternative...). I don't know if its the good way to ask or post issues. Tell me if it's not the right thing to do !!

 

My request:

I encounter no issues as rapist, though i see a few odd things while being raped (i want it to be an alternative death)

- I think its due to SL framework, SOS animations don't start (guess its a 52 management with framework MCM options, coz i activated 52 slot undress)

your mod isn't causing it, but maybe u got an idea? is it the framwork stripping function?

 

- sometimes, i got a fun bug, where the aggressor beats me, then is beaten one of his companions, is raped by him, and then rape me !! oO

 

- The only thing that really annoy me is that i don't understand the bound & gagged feature

  • How does it trigger? is there a probability? it seems not being activated all times.
    most of times, after rape, the NPC just staring at me, weapon in hand, and following me
  • In a post you said the MCM framework option "undress animation" was causing a bug of the bond feature animation, desactivated it, but still messing...

Ive installed :

  1. Sexlab framework + submit
  2. FNIS (anim + spells + creatures)
  3. UNPB + envision faces + Sporty wet
  4. SOS

I read posts saying there was no conflicts between those.

  • I don't use SOS (although I am aware of what it is about) so I don't know the particulars in how it is used with the Framework, however, I suspect if you are having issues with it that, as you suggested, it may be a slot issue.  I strip the "victims" (whether player or NPC) down myself, but I let the aggressor strip using whatever setting is chosen in the Framework MCM.
  • I have read about confused bandits, but I haven't been able to replicate it, and when I've tested multiple bandits doing their thing, I usually run around Helgen with half a dozen dudes chasing me before I surrender, so I have a good and random mix of actors to choose from.  It always ended the same way: my poor, underpaid test girl getting double stuffed.
  • On the last one, I assume you are using Framework 1.31 and Submit 22DEC13 2037?  If you are not using the latest Submit but are using Framework 1.31, what I spoke of wasn't an undressing issue, so much as a delay Ashal added after AnimationEnd() before the actors were freed up, meaning they were not available for a new Thread().  Originally, I would end the first round, do a short bleed out scene, and then go into the second round if there were 2+ bandits.  1.31 with older versions of Submit made the second bandit not take their turn, and the first one would get kinds stuck following.  This should have been fixed with the current Submit. 

If you *are* running 1.31 and the current Submit, I would suggest making a log of when you surrender so I can see if something is happening.

Auto Surrender does it work ?? even after setting % to 90 it doesnt kick in at all this feature from the start when it was implemented never worked for me

You have to make sure the health pool is set high enough that you don't get killed before you try and surrender and it kicks in. At lower levels this especially can be a problem some time. What I do is set the health chance at 70% and auto surrender at 10%. Doing that and very rarely does my character die before submitting. At higher levels I will tweak that down some.

Have you tried setting it to 0%, closing the menu screen, getting the message about it being turned off, then resetting it back to 90% or whatever to test?

 

I tried to add something in with one of the more recent updates to make this unnecessary, but for the longest time, this step was required with each update.

Had it work with it set to kick in at 40-20% health myself.

 

Sometimes bandits do crit you tho so you just die before it kicks in.

was wandering, what you think about the hogtie position after been bound? it's a bit odd trying to "escape the bindings", going up and down, when you could just stand up and run for your life! :D

I remember there being a time when male/female positions worked correctly but now when I start a 3-way scene its completely random what positions the characters end up in and when I start an oral scene with a female and a male actor, it picks from all the scenes including the lesbian scenes.

Did I screw something up ? Did the new version of Sexlab change something or did you change how it works ?

That would require making ZaZ a dependancy, and dkatryl doesen't want to add more dependancies than required. So not going to happen, unless someone wants to make a plugin mod.

This mod has stopped working since updating to 1.31. Anyone else having this issue? I thought it was the SL Framework not working at first, and discovered that for me, TDF and Submit both have broken and are not working. TDF is CTD (Not that is an issue I am concerned with, I moved on to another mod), but Submit, my PC is being punched, knocked down, stripped and gear stolen, but no animations are occurring and PC will not be bound and gagged. This mod was working with SL 1.30. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes but only with event encounters, like hired thugs. For what ever reason they will never sexual assault the PC even if the PC submits. I am guessing it is because it is a scripted event encounter.

It never worked with scripted events. I don't think it can honestly. I was only saying I have seen that happen but only with fights that never worked before. I have never had defeat work with those events either.

Oh, well defeat is working just fine. It is only Submit that isn't working. Like I said, TDF AP is CTD for me, and Submit just stops everything at the animation step.

Hmm thats odd, for me Submit is working on everything but scripted events. Not sure what you could do other than try deactivating it with NMM and then reactivating it. Log in to your game, go to submit, turn it off in the MCN(least I think you can) save, log out. open NMM deactivate submit. Log back into skyrim, save again. log out and go back into NMM and reactivate submit. then log back into skyrim let submit get detected again, then save and see if it works.

That's not a bug, non-enemy NPC's (townsfolk, and NPC's from random-encounters who are not part of an enemy faction like "Bandit" or "Necromancer") are not supposed to rape the player, they will only punch you out.

 

So this is intended behaviour.

It's not Submit, or it woulden't be working for anybody, sounds like either a FNIS problem, or a Papyrus error.

 

Did you upgrade and re-run FNIS when you upgraded Sexlab? The 1.31 release requires the latest FNIS (4.1 i think), so if you're still running an older FNIS version that could be the problem right there (or if you forgot to run the FNISforUsers app, which happens to the best of us).

 

Else, you might have a busted save (to many mod-upgrades leaving behind old script-fragments, causing errors), or a mod you have installed is bugging out and flooding the script-engine with errors, preventing other mods from exicuting their scripts properly.

 

 

To test for a busted save: Start a new game, see if it works right.

 

To test for a busted mod: You'll have to enable Script logging (how to do that has been mentioned many times on the last few pages of this thread) and see what mod is causing error spam, by looking at the tags connected to the error reports in the log.

 I have to say, I love this mod!  I am likely rehashing ideas you've already heard or considered, but in addition to the kill or let go options after rape, have a third option, "well I can't very well let you go now." where you bind and gag the victim and drag them along behind you or have you're companion drag them (yea that one's probably asking a bit much).  It would also flow beautifully into a slavery function or mod.

 

I'd also love to see a mod that allows you to shackle a npc to the wall, but that's just crazy talk...or I haven't been looking hard enough :huh:

 

Anyway, I hope you take this as the mad ramblings of a fan!

Yes thats what I was saying is it has always been that way. I was guessing it was cause it was a event encounter. I was saying what you said but in a less clear manner. Since I was unaware they had no faction tag. So that makes sense then. I assumed it was cause they was a triggered event, i just wasn't sure the reason. Now I know it is cause they have no faction. :)

Is it possible to have it so "Surrender" doesn't rob you of anything?

Perhaps an MCM option?

 

I can't download the mod right now to find out anyways.. even if I could, I'd prefer to know before I download and find it out it might not and have to go through the tedious process of uninstalling.
