This is the Dragon Hybrid race I created based off the Dragon Wretch; not entirely pleased with its wings and I need to find some...claw-y toed feet.

'Tiger Centaur' is...kind of weird, but since I figured out a way to do it I felt like I'd leave it included because why not? There's a white-furred version, too. I wish there was a way to fix that horrendous stretching along the torso, but I'm no good at working with textures.

The Medusa. Her hair is actually a hair style, now. It could be ticked on as playable if someone wanted a weird hairdo. >_>

Improved on the Dragon Hybrid a bit. Sloads are...tentatively finished, until I can find someone good enough at editing meshes to combine the torso of the heaviest "pregnant" mesh with the Bodybuilder arms and legs meshes to make a really thick body. I spent a lot of time screwing with height/weight to try to make the illusion of fatness on the limbs, but wasn't happy with the results. Flame Atronach is done. Created a few factions to facilitate combat between some of the opposing races, tweaked some levels so not every enemy is several levels higher than you. Frankenstein's Bride was added as a joke. Next week I'll try to upload an alpha-alpha file so people can tell me what broke horribly that I haven't noticed.

hey puddles, could you upload the mesh and texture of the horns of the dragon hybrid?

That's actually just the Dremora horns hairstyle. There -is- a texture in the Xeo(something) folder that's -supposed- to be reskinned over that mesh specifically for the drake's horns, but I tried a couple ways and it wouldn't take. :/

well, the original meshes and textures are compressed into bsa file so I couldn't obtain the horns meshes and textures of dremora, so I ask if you can upload the file for me though  :lol:

You have a Modmanager ? Unpack the bsa.

I always unpack bsa files before I install Mods, check the files, clean meshes,... then I pack the cleaned files again.

I hadn't realized hair had so many different files for each style! Found'em, though.

Oh, I didn't realise it since I always install the mod without touching the original meshes and textures 'cause I want to keep it clean  :lol:

Most Mod ( meshes ) are clean. But I check every Mod ( loose files or bsa ) open several meshes, if they are clean I install the Mod. But If I find one unclean mesh I check all meshes.

 

In armor, clothes and body meshes are often bogus nodes ( unused bone entries ). Or the nif use a whole skeleton  instead of bone nodes.

And in all meshes are sometimes rubbish. The "creator" deleted parts of the mesh but used the remove function not the remove Branch function. ( especially In Monstergirls are many nif files with rubbish. The dirtiest nif ever I found in Monster girls, after cleaning the nif was less than half the size )

And then the stupid people who add the full texture path in the nif ( C:\program files(86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\data\textures\.... )  So everyone how use a different Oblivion install path have a missing texture bug in game. A nif texture path must start with textures\....

And nif files with duplicate vertices. Such files can reduce the Frame rate. ( I had one in my Crowning Isle replacer, a dress. I thought the frames was low because so many NPCs in one cell, but it was the dress. I uploaded a fixed nif )

 

No checking Mods is the best way to get a dirty and unstable game.  Always check and if necessary clean esp and meshes !

Yeah I went through some of the largest nif files and optimized/sanitized them where I could. I think one I found had...63 bogus nodes? It was gauntlet someone made by just...deleting all meshes but that one in a full suit of armor and saved it without cropping the branches too. There's a couple nifs that can make the game crash, too. The dragontailbb iirc. I can't figure out what's wrong with that poor armor. It either shows up in-game disjointed and purple or crashes the game.

...So I just started up TES4Files to start packing MG Blockhead Edition for a test-run upload. Dear god the amount of missing files and textures is terrifying. Hopefully I can find all this missing crap by the weekend.

Can you upload or PM the dragontailbb. I don't have all monstergirl  files ( I tested a old version and uninstalled it a day later and never tried it again )

Uploaded the mesh. Upon further inspection I noticed that its texture path is looking for something never included in the original MG files, and I don't have it. "textures\baronb\dragon\Dragonero2.dds" However, I don't think a missing texture is the reason it's completely broken when pulled up in-game. It shows up fine in NifSkope...

 

anyone have the full file anymore? ive looked around and i cant find it

Anyone have any ideas as to what this is? Came up as an error in the export log...I don't have a mod with a pig mesh file, and I have a ridiculous amount of mods. >_>

Which version do people think makes for the best racial base for the dragon hybrids? I can make an override exception for a unique NPC monster later (and maybe cover all the colors), but I'm thinking what would be best if I was going to tick them as a playable race.

 

Type A is from BaronBee's BlackDragon mesh, which I think is cool and gives a...monster-y feel, but the armor (overridden as its tail) is probably going to look a bit weird with most any armor people would wear.

Type B is the original but with black scales. I could move it back to the blue scales pretty easily, too.

Making pretty good progress with cobbling together all the missing files. Should be good for a trial run on the weekend...then maybe I can actually play the game for a little while!

Pig

meshes and textures. Yes in the sheep folder. Pigs use the sheep skeleton ( and Lovers sex animations )

You can delete the penis ( remove branch ) it's not very good.

Edit: Oh you already found it, yes pigs are in many farm Mods .

Hm...it uses the sheep skeleton? When I tried loading the pig mesh in CSE it was this smeared arc-thing. Maybe I'm missing the textures. Nexus isn't downloading for me atm, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get what else is missing. Down from like a 180 missing to around a 100, some of it I might just cut from the ESP since it's just bloat in the clothing/armor that hasn't been attached to any NPCs.

Another thing that must be fixed in the Mod (esp) are path grids. At some places Emily added Objects ( new rocks, Chest ,altar,..) but doesn't change the path grid. Enemies (NPCs, Creatures) trying to walk through the objects. ( A good bug for low level Characters to kill a high level enemy, the enemy stuck behind the object, can not reach the player and you can kill him with a bow )

 

Edit: the pig meshes ( with vanilla skeleton) works fine in my game. I replaced some origimal sheep with pigs. ( e.g. the Skingrad Sheeps )

Yeah I noticed quite a bit of that. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do that, will look up a tutorial. Any idea if the unique skeletons used by some of the monsters/NPCs is actually have bones not present in Growl's universal skeleton/the LAPK skeleton? Their sizes vary a lot; I'm not sure if they're screwed up or intentionally there, or just there for custom animation folders.

To change the skeleton, I open a mod in cse, click on the creature to edit it, and it has a skeleton path (can't remember off hand exactly where to look) , which you set to whichever skeleton matches. If you select the wrong skeleton, it gets all messed up. For lovers creatures, you need to use the skeleton in the creatures folder. ie meshes/creatures/dog/skeleton.nif.

 

I did this for Werewolf Legends of the north, and will be working on patches for MOO, MMM, OOO, FCOM, BC, OCR, UL and pretty much any other mods I plan on using that add creatures.

Emily, aka Tritiana used resources (and paths) from their prior MODs, and/or resources (and paths) from other MOD author's MODs. So if you never installed those MODs you'd have these missing. 

 

Here is what I have for my greek hero folder. It has I believe two of the three missing for that, but you'll need to test which ones work.

And although a bit harder, IMO it would be better to fix the path in the calling NIF than to just add duplicates of these in yet another location.

I'm with fejeena on this one. Bugs & issues were at various points of MOD development and release were reported and either went unfixed or were ignored. Some I feel they were just incapable of fixing.

 

Second, they got banned twice and for the same reason, and I would rather see a single member that consistently breaks a very serious rule banned then put the site at risk and loose this site.
