ZaZ Animation Pack (ZAP)

First of all, 

 

many thanks to t.ara for this nice Upgrade of ZAP. Waiting long time for it. 

 

I have tried to test the ZAP 9 CBBE but i can not manage to work . 

 

I followed the Install Procedure on the text file. uninstalls old ones, copied the new to Data. Run fnis 2 times ( After Delete old  and after enabled new ESM).

After a few attempts, it was possible to start a New Game and loaded all Mods. Then activated SL and the integrated Animations from the ZAP menu into SL. I still have SLals and Activated also. Saved the File and Reload it. Everything run well, except i try to open MCM or the Console. The Game immediately run into CTD. 

 

Have no idea why. And i am also not sure wich info i need to provide ( Logs and so ) I Play on Skyrim LE. Medium Mod Load 350. Also use all Crash Fixes , Usleep and FNIS XXL.

If you have downloaded all the zip-files, you unpack them, so you get a folder with the unpacked mod. After that you need to create a single 7z-file from the extracted data...go do that by going into the folder where the esm-is standing-then grab all the files but not the other 7z-files you have downloaded ! and compress them to become a single file. This new single file is then ready for an installation by a mod-organizer-you can give it a different name and then you can install zap error-free. The different downloads (multiple parts) can not being all particular being installed by a mod organizer-I am very sure that such a thing is not possible.

Hi, t.ara. Thanks for your work on this.
I did read, but I was hoping for a clarification on exactly whet he did. You wrote:

I was hoping he'd tell me if he found the foreign letter or if he manually installed.
I've never manually installed something this big so I wanted to see if there was an easier way. If not, that's cool. I'll figure it out.

I've never manually installed something this big so I wanted to see if there was an easier way. If not, that's cool. I'll figure it out.

 

Manual installation is really not hard...let the mod manager aside, start it once and let delete an older ZAP, then switch it off and then check the folders. If ZAP is gone, you then drag the stuff into the necessary folders. If that ´s all ready, you run BODYSLIDE and then FNIS. After that you ENABLE the mod (ZAP) inside of your mod-manager. And this WILL work. And let LOOT off. Terrible tool (my opinion!). During the time when I used LOOT in the past I only had TROUBLES with mods and load-order (and safe-files !!!).

I mean if you REALLY want to MOD, then try to look a little, what is happening in the background..what is such a MOD organizer doing?...And what CAN ´t be made by a MO. The OLD NMM (nexus mod manager) once destroyed my setup, because it once went to update and recall some of my edited mods-so my edits have all been gone-NICE, isn ´t it??? Such thing NEVER AGIN is happening here as I do not let an MO to update or take influence on my MODS, which I work into...this would be a totally chaos. And MO2...?!?!!!! That ´s again another chapter of a mod organizer. I always recommend WYRE BASH. It´s looking OLD school BAD but it is working perfect. it handles also BIG mods very fast and it is also deleting mods with it ´s subfolders in a well way. You can uninstall mods and let them REST for a while, you have always overview of the installation and dependencies, you can at once see what has been installed, you have checkboxes for FOMOD-mods (with different options), it is easy to change a load order and it is easy to install something-it also has an own folder for all your installed mods, which you can copy and archieve for a future installation. And you can use it for differnt installations of SKYRIM so you have a really devided and well organized desktop.

This all is based on some experience with some MO´s which I tested in the past after my showdown with NMM. Basic standard-mods I always use to install manually. Like physics, bodyslide, fnis, skse, UIextensions, bodyslide and some others, which really will never change. But other users also have different taste and opinions about the mod-organizers and different experience lead also to different opinions-that ´s how the way it is.

Yesterday I have installed the last version of SKYRIM SE and beginning with an empty folder and beside I used the download-update. At first the game (I do not use the original place because it is unhandy) and then SKSE, SKYUI....widescreen-support, and-and-and...at least RACE-MENU, the  NEW PHYSICS-files (my older version had a totally different physics-setup) and then the basic stuff hairs cloth (replacer for the normal cloth/HDT-BBP sensitive stuff), the body...skin...eyebrows, ... and then I switch the mods active with wyre bash-it scans the files of your skyrim-partition and then I add some cloth for testing I took some SMP-clothing for CBBE SE-(which is here at the moment NOT working-but I don ´t know why...ZAP-cloth (SMP) for SE is now all working fine...:-)))..lot of mods have directly the 3BA CBBE HDT option...choose able...I use the simple physics-but it is not working still...I see on the models three bones for breasts (which is no CBBE SE caliente-original setup)...but okay...I watch virtual parts of breast, arm- and leg-meshes- and until now I can not understand it ´s reasons...I have to learn what is happening there and for what reason this dummy-stuff is brought there into such stuff...so that ´s about my problems, here:-)

Hi, t.ara, maybe it's not quite polite by asking technical problems in here, but I just really need help.?

Yet these days I finally made some of  my own animations, and the hkx files output by blender test fine in hkxposer. But what's next work I should do to use these animations? Write fnis list or something?

Hi,

before I write too much: you need the FNIS guide at first. I prepared an nif file for a furniture creation for you-look how a furniture has to be made and then you can see if you have further questions. The way to do that is not easy, specially if you never did that before.

The mod is so fantastic. My setup is not perfect but it only occasionally crashes, so i could explore the beauty of ZaZ world now.

Especially the tropic stuff is so beautiful.

 

How can i as a noob easily place the new stuff in the normal skyrim world?

This support mod was perfect for ZaZ 8

Possible my first post was not noticed. But i have Problems to run ZAP 9 :

I never downloaded animation pack V7 or V8, how come they are appearing. Also, when it said Animation PackV9 not SE compatible, How come it was able to read it?

There is no SE version yet, only LE. It is being worked on, please be patient.

You can still use that mod to lock npcs. Just download  "Jaxonz Positioner" from nexus. Explore Zaz world, when you find something "nice", make copy of furniture and place it in Skyrim world.

To make a copy:

1. target furniture with crosshairs

2. press enter key on numpad and wait until turns blue

3. press * on numpad and wait (1 sec) when furniture blinks, your copy is ready

4. press right cursor arrow key  - copy will move a bit

5. press - on numpad. It places furniture to your inventory

 

To place copy somewhere:

1. drop furniture from your inventory to ground to "unpack" it

2. target dropped  furniture  and press numpad enter 

3. use arrow keys, numpad 7 and 9, pgup, pgdown keys to adjust position

4. numpad enter locks furniture in place

5. now you can use lock spells from Zaz Helper addon to lock npcs

 

Do not use for serious play. It will break something, somewhere, maybe...

Important notice:

On default DD device hider hides 4-5 item slots, so some ZAZ Item combos are displayed incorrectly until the DD settings are all set to unhide DD devices.

 

So this might be worth a small notice in the download page to check those settings in the DD mod if you use it alongside ZAZ to avoid false reports about nonfunctional items.

Hello xboronx..

as soon you have installed zap with fnis and bodyslide without errors, zap is fully working...there´s no particular working possible and if something is not running like it has to, you can be sure that another mod is influencing zap. As usual. Anyway has it been possible to use DD and ZAP together and this should also be possible with zap 9. If that for any further reason is not possible, I have to say that I can not take care about that. The further mechanics we added into zap is offering more fun with zap and it shall bring more fun to use zap also with suiting quest mods. It ´s normal that DD has a strong problem with the body-slots...and there are some errors inside of DD-which is mostly being solved by the new updates, this slot-problem of DD can be solved easily as soon some assets become to be weared as combinations on one single slot. And ZAP sometimes is using also assets, which use a slot 32 which is blocking the whole body at once-but that has a system which you will understand more better if you slowly use more and more rope-assets all together, side by side. A creator can easily see, which slots are being used and create her/his beloved combination(s). This can be called by a quest-mod, by a furniture or by using an activator. Or by a trap...By laying down on bed and more...also can you use dummy-assets to provocate the script to work also fine for a naked-body or for high-heels=off, inside a furniture as well. The naked function also is working for NPCs in normal furnitures, or for the player in normal furnitures: Slaves sit only naked on chairs: no problem with ZAP-no extra script necessary. THis offers a really very flexiable sandboxing without any quest or additional script-line.

The mod has been so far checked and we know the problem with the trip thru the animation-behavior (deformedskeleton/mesh) but this appears only in some few situations-so, this is so far a "pay-for" the riding-npc-implemention. Maybe this can be solved with a newer update, soon:-)

Is it normal, that the SMP-BBP-physics inside of RACEMENU editing is stopping to WORK inside of SKYRIM SE ????????? REALLY? Or did I miss to install something?

Inside of SKYRIM LE it ´s always active-ALWAYS like in game showing. And more quick and smooth, the whole sliders? 32bit-but working?!....

Just a feedback I've installed the CBBE version and I've had no problem so far while wondering around ZAP World, nor in FNIS or Bodyslide too. 


I'm not sure the spell can manifest all furnitures, am I right? (it's no big deal : Interact Mod with good ol' Jaxonz Positionner allow to place a copy any of them)

Yes-that s for all....I suddenly drowned a slave inside the testzone....it works...it s a fixed function which is a logical result if you go into water in cuffs...

About J-sons positioner I for best give no advices. This tool is not changing a navmesh and your folks ingame can be hindered to walk...play with the CK and you´ll in one week create your first mods.

Possible mini-bug report, assuming anyone can duplicate it. The bodyslide for the nipple piercings and jewelry doesn't seem to be working entirely right. Several of the silver versions don't actually fit in game, the gold versions do but the SC ones are hovering out in front of my characters nipples by a pretty large distance. Has anyone else seen this? Looking at the piercings in Bodyslide and Outfit Studio seems to indicate they should fit, but in game they don't. If this is just a my setup issue, any ideas how to fix it? (CBBE HDT version)

And a minor language issue? Assuming that's supposed to be Vintage Corsage in game like it is in Bodyslide for the English version.
