Sims 4 high school years another mod breaker ?

I did not understand the joke ( what is the joke ) of fears and desires .  In the sims 2 , all this was better implemented .

The lattest update UTTERLY DESTROYED my build - all sims just vanished, replaced by glitchy static, advanced exceptions threw an absolute fit about most of the core mods (even after updating them to latest versions) even the interface broke (ended up looking like an out-of-alignment sprite-sheet!

I zipped up my old mods/tray (105gb!) cleared the Sims folder in MyDocs completely and tried a back-to-basics build but even that fell over!

 

Gonna take a break for a couple of weeks to let moddders catch up and then I'll try again from scratch...

Reason everything removed is because insufficient funds , but my household 2million lmao , so tryed put house back in from gallery and say insufficient funds , how lol

lol another bug I have noticed with my expelled sim; they can't do any "online course" to get a diploma, the option is not there on phone or their computer! HOWEVER, they can re-join high school even with the expelled trait if they look for job using their phone, but they get expelled at the end of the school day again. Pack is ultra broken!

Good point. I re-watched that part of the video (circa 3:09?) and EA makes no mention of the early access provision that Patreon allows. Patrreon allows a benefit of early access as long as it eventually becomes public, but no mention of how long the early access period would be. The Sims 3 had a mod where the "early access period" was over a year.

 

But the EA terms don't mention early access at all as the video says. it says mod makers can ask users to support the mod, but it has to be free. 

 

IMHO, mods saved the Sims 4 from an early failure, and if EA enforces this, they've just killed Sims 4.

I didn't know that sims  could do online courses towards a uni degree.

I did use the MCCC feature for high school to be optional, because one of my characters is (was) an elder spell caster who used a magic potion that didn't just reset his age to the beginning of elder, but... made him younger! (one of Zero's mods. I can't find it https://www.patreon.com/zer0_Mods_/posts?filters[tag]=Realm of Magic  ) Three potions later he's a teenager!

 

Well, he signed up for an after school activity, and he got booted from school. Pretty sure but not going to claim that MCCC has that glitch, just going to say I am pretty sure that's how MCCC worked in the past. I could be wrong. Don't need another mod author claiming I'm lying. In fact, forget I said that. Let's strike it. All better now.

It says on the "Expelled from High School" trait that teens can get a diploma by doing an online course, which will still let them apply for university and/or have access to certain jobs. I googled about expelling and the articles I read say the teens should be able to do evening/online classes. issue is, there appears to be no option for either! To be honest, I find it far too easy to get my teens expelled; the first dude got kicked out just for pissing himself in front of the principal in the middle of class (he was C grade student), my next guy got kicked out for attending the career day thing as he should have done (he also was C grade), and my latest girl got expelled for turning into a werewolf in the middle of class (she was B grade). You're only supposed to get expelled if you reach the bottom of F grade, or skip too many school days (and get caught) in a row. So something in the pack itself is broken when relating to expulsion scenarios.

 

In other news I miss my expelled students photographing the principal banging the teachers and blackmailing her. Wish WW didn't blacklist the high school lots.

Well if you want to get your teen out of school without school play you can just pick high school pie menu and choose drop out of school, also possible if you have high enough grade or use cheat to get high grade like A, then you can also take early graduation from same pie menu, but you may also just get asked if you want to graduate early as pop up by another sim if grades are high enough, this will allow you to apply to university and go there. Feels a little buggy however since you still get asked to go to prom after you graduate and sometimes you don't get diploma in inventory or household inventory for some reason. Also not sure if graduating university lets teen work young adult jobs or not, have not tested that far since it felt slight buggy.
