Make a script that detects when the prisoner is within a very small radius of the player, then add the ambush package. Or perhaps set the ambush package to require a variable that will only be set if the player actually goes to prison. Either way will work. Link to comment

"Requires 11-200 BBB animations pack with rev96v2 or installing the Animated Penis Resource pack and its animation updates." I also translated some of the stuff that had not yet been translated, as well as added more "bad" guys to the criminals list. The major change is switching the animations calls to use the 11-200 bbb animations pack. Link to comment

I was not forced to load a previous save. My companions just stood around and gossiped, but at least I wasn't forced to reload an earlier save. Every other time (in earlier versions) I was sent to prison with a companion in tow I was forced to load a previous save. This time, although my companions did nothing and they did not participate in the action (what a shame...), I did not have to reload my game. My MCS companions also appeared outside the prison with me after I went to sleep to serve out my sentence. I lost a point of my "Blade" skill, but my companions were just standing there waiting for me to get on with things. after I was released. And I went through the the whole "shebang" of providing my cell partner with sexual services before sleeping and serving out my sentence. Was this a glitch in my favour, or did I miss something in the readme? If I get time tomorrow I will punch a guard in the face and try again. Link to comment

True Crime is the first generation of things. Dark Bloodlines is a greatly expanded version of true crime. Unfortunately DB is pretty buggy so be careful if you decide to use it. I was not aware there was a force reload feature in the plugin. Here is a short summary of what I changes I made to the plugin: 1. Update sex calls to use the 11-200 bbb animations pack numbers. 2. Translated the spells, dialogue, scripts and pop up messages from the machine gibberish to English. 3. Add a bunch of "bad" types to the criminals faction listings. 4. Lowered the radius for prisoners to ambush rape you while in jail - (see post 6 for this version) That is all I did. I didn't change anything else. Link to comment

In the previous version, I had no headhunting ability but somehow collected lots of heads with no value. Now when I chop off their heads, I get data about the head (making them non stackable). The data shows them to be bandits at my level with no bounty and no value. Link to comment

True Crime is a very early version of Dark bloodlines before all the special quests and factions were added, essentially adding rapists in jail, extra bandits and options with those bandits, and the ability to chop off their heads for cash, but no story line, quests or objects beyond a few posters in the prisons. The area of detection was set absurdly high (like 1000 or so if I remember right) and I backed it down to cover just the inside portion of the cell itself. I greatly shrunk the range of the prisoner's dialogue triggering so folks weren't pulled into the cell from the hallway like what used to occur. I "may" have shrunk the range too far. It is simple enough to expand the range via the CS. Link to comment
Nessa Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 Just a quick note Greg. You can stop the prisoner from talking at all by introducing a condition in the conversation. If the player is in jail, then do the usual conversation. If not in jail, write some quick dialog. That way there is no perception issue and players can actually talk to the prisoner from across the bars. If I recall, the function is "isPlayerInJail". (Or something on that order. Too lazy to look it up at the moment! ) Did that in.... another mod I'm working on.. It works rather nicely. Link to comment

I could and did figure out how to dial down the range for the detection, but that is as far as I went. I "may" take a look at that when I finish the Lovers Creatures overhaul, but that is months down the road. Thanks for the note however. I'd be happy to replace the main download with it. You are always welcome to fix\tweak absolutely anything I am working on! I can translate, animate, alter meshes and do many other things in nifskope, the CSE and blender. For scripting, the most I can do is check for spelling or format errors and translate.
