Is there a FNIS that functions with AE?

I've been looking around for a bit and dont know if i should go through nemisis or not for my animations and loading because i was running FNIS normally and it functioned in the AE version of skyrim but only for a limited time it eventually corrupted my save file and certain SKSE script files i had and i've got no clue on how to go about getting my Sexlab animations or anything like that back and functioning

FNIS can't do that, it only edits behavior files, the worst it can do is T pose you.

something else is wrong with your game.

yes, there was no change in behavior file formats, the SE FNIS is fine in AE.

2. run/rerun the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, if you don't the animations wont work/run.
C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
or
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
WARNING: Windows (Vista/7/8/10) Security may interfere with updating/overwriting the FNIS behavior files.
you may not even get a error message telling you that this has happened.
make sure FNIS and maybe your mod manager (if your using one) are running with administrator privileges.

Ā

NOTE1: try deleting "Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\0_master.hkx" and re-running FNIS again, that sometimes helps.

Ā

NOTE2: if you have the Creature Pack but some creatures are just playing idle animations or not moving try clicking on "De-Install Creatures" in FNIS, after it's done running click on "Update FNIS Behavior"
(doing this will delete all the creature behavior files generated by FNIS and remake new ones...that is assuming you DO have the FNIS Creature Pack installed)

don't know what would do that, maybe your mod manager is turning stuff off or has loose/unmanaged files in it.

bash/smash patches can sometimes also cause problems but i've never seen anything that extreme.

How exactly is nemesis supposed to cause random t-posing? its either working just fine, or ALWAYS t-posing. just like FNIS.

Can I ask for reasons? I don't use it nowĀ  but I did a brief non-devious playthrough where I specifically didn't need FNIS behaviour files so I used it as a testing platform for CGO and Nemesis ran fine. However the normies over at r/skyrimmods lost their shit and downvoted me to oblivion when I said I'm not going to switch from FNIS long-term because of reasons.

Ā

I would like to know your perspective, if you don't mind sharing it of course.

it has many hidden problems (besides somehow messing with creature behavior files when it does not even support creature animations in the first place)

Eg: one of the main problems is some sort of addressing error, Groovtama knows more about it than i do because it fucks with XPMSE\XPMSSE.

make sure you did not install the wrong version of mnc or abc for the game version your using, invisible meshes can be a sign of that (Eg: LE meshes in SE game).

FWIW, the normies on skyrimmods tend to endorse Nemesis these days.

There is nothing in FNIS SE that is incompatible with AE or any other version of Skyrim SE for that matter. Your problem is elsewhere. Start troubleshooting for real if you want to solve whatever problem you have.
