Some of the best scenes were cutting floor scenes.  As an Engineer and instructor the first scene below is so very true.    In case you have not seen the movie.  Tech Sgt Chen is, in reality, just an actor and not a technical whiz, however the aliens (all the weird looking "humans") think he is a genius.

The corridor fight from Old Boy was always one of my favorite fight scenes in a live action movie due to the way that it comes across as a very grounded take on one particularly tough man taking on a superior number of opponents without any wasted, impractical movements, no 'mook chivalry' and no gimmicks.

Ong Bak: 2nd bar scene.   This movie is pretty kick ass overhaul. I highly recommend english speakers to watch movie in native Thai language. English dub sounds horrible and the Thai sounds great, especially the girl in the movie. Plus sub titles are easy to read.

Yeah, I love it when there's a drunken fighting style, it's goofy but always so effective! ?

 

Unless there's cops and they have tasers. Then it doesn't go so well haha... ?

One night I was especially bothersome and problematic, cops thought a call was for silly little rowdy me - at a bar - since I was outside throwing bottles at the asphalt ground next to friends like a dumbass whereas the real reason they were called was that there was a fight that had erupted and wouldn't cease.

 

So, they walk up to me, they seem to consider me for a minute (I guess since I look small like an underaged girl or something) before interrupting me in my stupid act, urging me to stop disturbing public order or something, one thought I would throw it at them for some reason so he whipped out his taser, shot me with it after a few unsuccessful directives to cease and desist.

 

I'm used to strong shocks since it's regular practice in sessions and other activities I do so I just, kind of, like, climaxed, trembled a bit and moaned out laughing but still held the bottle I had at hand high; the other followed suit and shocked me with his, it got a little more effective with the second but I still just stood there and took it haha, one just decided to "disarm and neutralize" me by hand and removed the bottles from my hands before dragging me off to the patrol car.

 

I didn't really get what was going on, I just laughed and asked for more booze as one questioned my friends and the other was taking me to their car when a barmaid came out after realizing the coppers were there, she screamed at the dumbasses to come in and deal with it since there was a fight going on and someone got injured so he just left me be inside the car where I fell asleep curled in a small ball. They realized there was a misunderstanding so they tried to wake me up to put the true troublemakers in the car but I wouldn't wake so they called for another patrol when they called for EMT or paramedics - can't quite recall which - and had the other patrol take care of the fighters whilst they gave me a lift back home with a friend that knew where I live.

Whenever cops showed up where I was, it was just fade in... "What? I'm just sittin' here."  type thing.  I probably got lippy once, and put in my place...lol ?

Yeah, sometimes it's like they go out of their way to underperform and bother others... ?

 

Don't mistake, though, I know they're not all full of 'it and have lives with their own stresses and such - I even have friends that are coppers - it's just kind of sad whenever they take it out on people out of zeal or other stuff...
