Molevalence Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 FFX-2 was horrible but it had some redeeming factors. The garment grid was a good idea and if you're a completionist like me then you'll get your money's worth for time. However once it was 100% completion for me I gave it to my friend's daughter and this is coming from a guy who never trades his games. Nuff said. First two are self explanatory. I would've added Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles in there, but I couldn't find it. Lol at a physical copy of a pc game. Never again...
Mr.Flingingfeces Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Back in my anime toy collecting days I bought a set of Cutey Honey figures. I let my nephew blow them up with fire crackers.
Astaroth-Lite Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Games from Steam Summer Sale. Why so ashamed? There's nothing wrong with wanting to save a buck. me I am twenty-nine and what is this?
Stinky Rat Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I bought bible black, and a huge poster of this Vampire Hunter with major breasts, and with blood/cum all over her face. So after few days my friends come over and i ran like hell to my room, grab that poster, grab the bible black CD threw them in the backyard and i just felt so ashamed to my self. That i want to randomly hit myself for that reason. And that's the thing that bought me shame.
sen4mi Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I am twenty-nine and what is this? I could tell you, but then you'd have to kill me. Or at least some part of me? But, of course, from some perspectives parts of us are always dying. So how does that even work? I guess what I am really asking (and this is most emphatically NOT a rhetorical question) is: why do our choices matter (and I am becoming more and more convinced that they do)? On the other hand, why are you 29?
Astaroth-Lite Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 On the other hand, why are you 29? I'm not sure if I want to give you the smart-ass answer or the depressing answer. Which one would you least appreciate?
sora3 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 My first 2 PS2 games. Brand new with the system and I had a choice of Final Fantasy X with also Metal Gear Solid 2. But I had to be a dumbass and choose Red Faction 2 and as well as Disney's Treasure Planet for my sister. After just two months when Kingdom Hearts came out, instant trade-in and my mates never let that up.
AaylatheNord25 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Mmmm, I'm ashamed to admit it, but my buttplug that I bought when I was drunk with some girlfriends one night about three years ago? Tried it once and couldn't sit for a week! Either that, or the fleshlight I bought my then first really serious boyfriend. I was about to leave for Europe for a family holiday and thought he could use some company, if you know what I mean He told me afterwards that he didn't use it because the thought of an artificial vagina on his dick creeped him out. Also, I enjoyed playing Duke Nukem, and I LOVE telling people that irl. They go spastic and flip out, and I just laugh at them.
Dallas-Arbiter Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I own a copy of the Alan Parsons Project "Eye in the Sky" on LP.
Buster89 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I'm ashamed that i bought dark souls for PC when i played it on ps3 because when they ported it its like they didn't even try it was pretty much half assed.
sen4mi Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 On the other hand, why are you 29? I'm not sure if I want to give you the smart-ass answer or the depressing answer. Which one would you least appreciate? I will not know until i see them? And maybe not even then...
Commander Drag Queen Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 So many to count... A few years ago, I bought a friend an anime pillow case for his birthday. There was a special from the dealer (something like 50% off with an extra purchase), so I figured I'd see what the hype was all about. Opened it up, used it once. Never again. That same friend also convinced me to help buy anime figures for a show we were into back in high school. Fortunately I stopped agreeing to buy stuff when he suggested a USB fleshlight and a H-game import. On a more respectable note, I can safely say that buying an HP laptop with Vista Home was a bad idea. The things I did so I could play my beloved Bethesda games. That, and the second xbox 360 I got when my first one died.
LordJerle Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Every current gen console I've bought. They've all broke, only my trusty computer has ever remained strong. That and Saints Row 2. After playing 3, I thought it would be a good game, but oh was I ever so wrong.
Commander Drag Queen Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 That and Saints Row 2. After playing 3, I thought it would be a good game, but oh was I ever so wrong. Good sir! Those are word that would start a war! Seriously though, what didn't you like about it?
LordJerle Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 That and Saints Row 2. After playing 3, I thought it would be a good game, but oh was I ever so wrong. Good sir! Those are word that would start a war! Seriously though, what didn't you like about it? My biggest issue was (I had just completed 3 when I played it) that it took itself wayyy too seriously. I mean, it had a serious plot, and then there were just random vignettes of humor that didn't feel like they really belong, where 3 was freaking hilarious across the board. The whole game had me snickering, if not flat out laughing my ass off.
Commander Drag Queen Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Ah, I see. That'll do it for you. You might want to try coming back to it in a few weeks and see if your opinion changes. Sometimes that's all it takes. For me, that seriousness that was in 2 made it all worthwhile. Don't get me wrong, I loved the comedy in 3, but I feel as if they tried to make you laugh the whole way through, which was different. I also feel as if 3 was a bit rushed, cause a lot of the features from 2 were cut out in order to compensate for the new engine and animations. And then, there's Gat. Gat was a major character in the first two SR games, and his death in 3 is something that the fans have issues with. I remember him taking a fucking sword through the chest, and still kicking ronin ass. Besides, 2 came out around the time of GTA IV, so in comparison, SR2 was an old guy wearing a banana hammock and a googly-eyed pirate hat. But hey, everyone's entitled to their opinions. For me, I can't get into SR1. I just remember one of the missions asking me to stop four different cars within 5 minutes, and all of them were on opposite sides of the city. Granted, now I don't have an xbox, so I can't replay it, but I don't think I'd ruin my memories of the last two games just to get the full story.
Teechan Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Tons and tons of upgrades and token packs on PWI (a "free to play" MMO).
LordJerle Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Tons and tons of upgrades and token packs on PWI (a "free to play" MMO). I played it when it was Perfect World Online... Years and years ago. Loved the flying surfboards, but then I lost interest and stopped playing. Haven't looked back.
kurisu7885 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 An, adult toy. When it was in the mail I was a nervous wreck about my mom or brother getting hold of it and opening it before I got it. My brother thankfully didn't open it, but he did try to grill me about what it was.
xartom Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 ^ On that note I bought something off Bad dragon a few years ago. Always had to hide it from roomates/other people and sometimes that proved difficult esp when moving (oh I hope they don't go that way, damn it move the toy into the vent... Oh hell the airconditioner's coming on. Now they want to use the computer grr.) Ended up selling the toy and buying something more 'normal' looking and easier to hide.
