Hi @GrimGrim31,

first off, thanks for the new Super-Soap feature with the real Purified Water check – great immersion!

Unfortunately, it only recognizes the vanilla bottle. All refillable bottles from Give Me That Bottle (e.g. Purified Water (Beer), (Vodka Bottle), (Rum Bottle), (Whiskey Bottle) etc. in (2/2) or (1/2)) are not accepted.

Are you aware and would a small patch be possible sometime? Would be awesome.

Thanks & keep it up!

I will add it to the list.  Maybe it is a simple change.

I looked at the Give Me That Bottle mod and I do not understand how the Player refills the bottles.  How do you get purified water bottles?

Version 3.0 of MWoW is now available for download.

  • This version makes some large changes to the scripts that should improve the player experience.  There was an issue for some people where the game would freeze when you tried to pick up the soap from the ground.  I reworked this so you should no longer get game freezes.
  • My scripts were originally based on the soap cleaning method used in the Get Dirty mod.  This used script commands to block the player or a follower from activating the soap while a player was washing.  In addition to blocking activation, it also used States to alternate between allowing activation and blocking activation.  This seems needlessly complex and may cause game issues if other mods also use States as the game only allows 128 instances of using States.  Since I know a lot more about making mods now, I substituted a much simpler method.
  • You will see two activation buttons side by side.  One allows you to take the soap, and the other button is for washing yourself with the soap.

  • You will also automatically pick up the soap after washing.  This will be a blessing to anyone that wants to get moving quickly after washing.

  • This version also adds support for the mod Give Me That Bottle so you can use purified water from that mod to wash with soap (if you select the MCM option to require purified water).

I've been using your mod a short while now and love it. With the ability to use purified water, I can essentially get rid of Universal CWSS which was causing glitches and unscrapable objects in some settlements. Thank you!

Thanks for the update!

I have enough water with me. Unfortunately, the wash button isn't working for me.

I made a mistake and placed the new script fragment into my other mod's script folder.  So it loads for me but that doesn't help anyone using the new MWoW download.  I will update it in a few minutes.

The corrected version is now available to download.  I named it Version 3.0.1.

It just adds the Perks script fragment so the activation buttons will work.

Thank you, the button works. However, I've noticed that the drinking animation plays first. And that seems to be preventing the washing animation from starting. The soap scum is there, but the character just stands there.

I am glad it helps you.  The whole point of MWoW was to make washing more convenient, to handle new messes that WoTC cannot, and to make it more fun to wash.  For me, rainshowers, colorful soap, the Thirst Zapper, and the Decon Arch make it fun to wash my PC and NPCs.

That is interesting.  I don't see a drinking animation play when I use the soap.  Is the animation from another mod than Give Me That Bottle?

That's right. She doesn't wash herself with the water, she drinks it. And it quenches her thirst. I just tested it.

PS: The feature where the soap gets used up is still there, right?

Yes, the soap still has a chance of being used up.  I just uploaded Version 3.0.2. which should hopefully avoid the issue with Hardcore drinking.

It also means that washing will not quench your thirst.  Lol

It works perfectly. It even uses two different half-full bottles during the wash cycle, and the empty bottles are correctly stored.

The only thing I haven't tested yet is the rain.

Thank you so much for your work!

PS: Should the automatic washing function in rain depend only on the timer or also on the level of soiling (Get Dirty)?

Rain washing should work the same as before.  It doesn't require purified water so I did not change anything for rain washing.

Okay, great. My only remaining question is whether the level of dirt also plays a role in the car's rain wash function, or if it's simply a matter of the timer running out?

"Car's"?  The timer is always the same regardless of how much dirt or cum is on the player.  I based the timer on the length of the washing animation.

You recently asked about blood textures. Here's an example.

My character was shot with energy weapons. They leave black marks (not visible here, as they're on her back). With projectile weapons, it would be blood.

Oddly enough, there are also impressions of the clothing she was wearing. I don't know where that comes from. And blood and energy weapon wounds can't be washed away. Neither can the clothing impressions.

After loading a save, however, everything is gone: blood, gunshot residue, and clothing impressions.

Just a heads up, the thirst zapper won't clean off Heather from this mod. Haven't had a chance to look yet what the weirdness is. The follower uses its own system though which probably doesn't help. 🥴

Possible Conflict - Immersive Animation Framework

The latest version works well, but if the option for requiring the Purified Water (vanilla) for washing is enabled, no washing animations would play, due to IAF's 3rd person animation where the character consumes Purified Water.

Any chance you can take a look at it? I love the idea that washing requires water (it makes logical sense), but this conflict is rather annoying. Granted, I can live with it but I kinda like the washing animation of the mod so that's why I'm putting this there.

As always, great work - keep this up! 🚀

@GrimGrim31 has fixed this bug. I had the same problem, but now everything is working perfectly.

Is regular soap also used up? What if it's used occasionally instead of the special soap?
